Our catering company uses FJ Lawn Services and snow removal for our snow removal. They are responsive, flexible, and do a great job!

They do our snow removal..they always make it over so quickly after it snows! Reliable service at reasonable prices! Great people! Highly recommend!

Unreliable service. Would not come out to service the yard on the days that they promised. Weed control was done late, so my yard looks horrible with crab grass. Unable to properly generate invoices, resulted in double-paying sales tax. Do not use this service supplier.

I have used Fj for core aeration for the last two springs. They are out first thing in the spring to do it before I need to get fertilizer down. It makes a huge difference on my lawn, resulting in having a thick green yard. Thank you.

edited to say, you know who I am, you had a contract for over a year at my house and weren't good. This review is accurate, and you called and left a msg on my phone so you do know who I am, I have the voicemail.

I called FJ Lawn care with questions about how to turn my weed covered problem yard onto a grass lawn. I was hopping to just get some pressing questions answered but was amazed to be talked though the entire process step by step. One of the most honest and helpful interactions I've ever had with someone.

FJ Lawn Care took the time to explain Spring clean-up options as well as Summer lawn fertilizer application and available service plans. After completing Spring clean-up, the crew did an excellent job handling the pre-emergent application and core aeration. Thank you!

Fj Lawn Care & Snow Removal
has done great work for my snow removal and I've had their Lawn care services for the last three years. They've done everything that ive needed done with extra care.

All negative reviews are accurate and justified. Doesn’t deserve even 1 star. Authorized payed for an amount and three months later for an invoice of over $650. Said they did more work than actually received. Then harassed me for payment, over 20 voicemails/texts/emails in one day. Dishonest, disorganized, unreliable. Never use this company.

FJ Lawn Care has been mowing for me for about a month now and has consistently done a great job. They mow, trim and clean up the walk ways.
Office staff are always available and ready to help. Great local company.

I can't begin to tell you what life saver this company has been!! We recently moved into a home that the lawn was in total disaster mode! Plowing service incredibly slow, regularly left large areas unplowed/unshoveled or more often they showed up so late that I had already done the majority of the work. I just got a bill with OUTRAGEOUS extra charges- will NOT recommend or use again.

EDIT in response - I guess my expectations of ensuring prompt service/consistent service by hiring a company on a contract is wildly unrealistic. One might think that having a contract would ensure service within a reasonable amount of time without requiring multiple calls/texts to check in.... but again, I must just be insane. For the amount of money they charge, babysitting should NOT be needed.

I was never rude or mean- basically terrified to complain at all about quality because once you do, these guys can just decide to disappear/ stop coming out all together and then I'd be doubly screwed.

I had high hopes for finding a good company that was based close to my home so that plow service would be prompt- my driveway is very steep and the city does not allow parking on-street overnight regardless of the season...this is NOT that company. Waiting 8+ hours with no ETA is not OK.

Advice: If you can't provide timely service to all of the clients you've taken on, you should notify them or provide a discount/reimbursement. Also, if you're not going to make it out within the stated contract time (4-8 hrs) or at least the same day, a text or call saying so should be made.

OK...was looking for snow removal for this year....emailed him on his website....no response. I called and left a message....no call back. I called again and Jim answered and I told him what I needed. He said he would write up a quote and send me a contract on Monday (this was Friday). Never got anything from him....called him twice more and left messages....still got no reply. Don't waste your time with this guy/company....he doesn't seem to do what he says.....or he just doesn't need the business:)

Called to have services done for my home and whoever answer the phone was very rude and short. He informed me that they were booked; which I understand, so I was trying to figure out how I could get a possible rate or quote for future purposes and he replied he's busy and have to go then hung up in my face before I could say anything. I've been working in customer service over 12 years now and that's definitely not the way to speak to possible customers. If he was so busy at the time all he had to do is ask if I could call back at a better time! Horrible horrible service and I never had any work done by them but with his attitude alone I would recommend going elsewhere!

My driveway for my 2nd garage had not been shoveled for months and I needed it cleared asap! I contacted many different snow removal companies and none of them were willing to help! Than I stumbled upon Jim and he said no problem and he came over and did a great job plowing my driveway! Thank you Fj Lawn care and snow removal!!! : )

Clearly others are holding FJ to an unnecessarily high standard.

Delayed billing?
- Owner operated companies demands so much from the owner. Allow for a possible delay.

Forgotten callbacks?
- They likely receive 10-50 calls per day during busy times.
Undesirable bid pricing?
- Many homeowners do not understand that operational costs can be very high. If you do not like the bid, move on.

These are not reasons to provide a review. Much less a negative one. And certainly not for the industry in question.

FJ has always followed through for us, and can be relied on when contracted to provide a service. Prior to the contract, they owe you nothing.

Fj Lawn care has done a great job keeping up with my weed prevention and mowing this spring. I am beginning to see great results in my yard! I recommend them fully and have had nothing but good experiences with the FJ crew and Jim.

I have not had a professional lawn care service ever. Jim and his crew came out, mowed, trimmed my fence line that had not been trimmed in years and blew off my sidewalk. When he was done my yard looked like a golf course I told him. He is fine if I dont want chemicals used. He made suggestions but no high pitched sales to get me to change my mind. I can't say enough good things about his company. He even rolled my hose up when I forgot. He could of left it on the sidewalk but took the time to roll it up. Little things like that that sets him apart from the other companies. It was to be a onetime service but he was so reasonable I'm still using him. GIVE HIM A CALL.

Awesome experience with these guys. Had to delay a few applications due to weather but they worked through it with us. Did a great job with their work. Jim is very knowledgeable and friendly.
