The Phillips team does beautiful work and our team leader, Laura, really listens to what we want. She is always creative and very responsive to our requests. Our garden has never looked better.

From the initial consult through the install the team at Phillips was outstanding. They listened to our wishes, and created something greater than we could could have imagined. Hardly a day passes without a person stopping and complimenting the beauty Phillips has created.

We've used Phillips Gardens for landscaping plans in two yards and couldn't be happier with the outcome. The buyers of our home have continued their services to maintain the beauty. Creative, imaginative, and great crews to work with.

Phillips Garden did a full backyard remodel in summer 2015 - turned our crappy amateur patio, half-century-old cement walkway, and weed-infested lump green space into a beautiful bluestone garden paradise.

They were very patient with our changing desires & budget, and were extremely thorough and diligent getting the project done (early!). The designers came up with a wonderful creative "circle" design to leverage our topography, and the garden folks planted 600 (!) perennials in beautiful ways that enhanced our vision.

Their build & maintenance staff are all pros - it was a wonderful project, and we still use them on an annual basis. Wonderful artists all.

Phillips Garden was wonderful to work with! They were attentive to our specific needs and our picky tastes! They really worked hard to meet our budget and our design expectations. Their creativity and ability to create beautiful spaces are amazing. Now we are just dreaming of our next landscape project with them!

Phillips Garden did a fabulous job on a steep, sunny slope. Tyler designed a retaining wall, bluestone capped knee wall surrounding a patio and cantilevered pergola, solving the overheating problem in our adjoining 3 season porch. We had additional garden areas created and many plants, trees and bushes were installed. We were delighted with the creativeness of the design.

We could not be happier with the design and build process at Phillips Garden. And we are delighted with our project thus far (we're planting this spring)!

Our experience with Phillips Garden was exceptional in every way. We enjoyed each step of our collaboration, from early visioning to final planting. And we could not be more pleased with the outcome. Phillips Garden has provided us with an outdoor living room ~ complete with raised beds and fruit shrubs. This project has brought such joy to our family - and so much loveliness to our neighborhood. The work went perfectly according to plan. The results were exactly what we wanted and expected. Working with Tyler was easy. He understood what we wanted and communicated just the right amount. The crew was really nice to have at our home. They were friendly and exceptionally helpful when we had questions. They also respected our home by cleaning up thoroughly each day. We were also surprised by their inventiveness to find solutions to the unforeseen issues with our weird old house and yard.

Tyler and team at Phillips Gardens were fantastic. Our backyard transformation has been one of the highlights of the summer. Creative ideas, easy to make changes and communicate problems, polite and easy crew to work with. I couldn't recommend them more strongly. My husband's comments speak to our satisfaction. Not being particularly interested in gardens, he was not sure that it was going to be worth the expense. Now he sits outside on the patio every night (which he never did) and believes in the tremendous value received by creating our new space! Go fo it!!

We have been using Phillips Garden for over ten years and can’t say enough good things about them. With their exceptional talent and knowledge, our green space is authentic and eye catching. After meeting with several landscaping designers, we ultimately chose to work with Phillips Gardens because not only do they have an excellent reputation for design they also perform the installation as well. We are so pleased with the results! They provided us with an enjoyable design experience, and we're willing to work with us to stage the construction to help keep us closer to our budget (allowing us to complete some of the work ourselves over the coming years). We had very specific goals for this Mid-Century Modern home, and they met all of them! From the floating concrete staircase (that everyone else said could not be done) to the reuse of the old limestone retaining wall that they rebuilt (watching those guys work on that wall most of the summer was mesmerizing as they pieced it together - kudos for the determination it took to do that). Other components of our project included a corten steel retaining wall, concrete driveway, two gravel patios, and numerous trees/shrubs/native grasses. We regularly have people tell us how much they love the new landscaping (including the FEDEX driver that pulled up one day not to deliver packages but just to say how great it looks). Tyler was super easy to work with, and Thomas and his team really did a great job on the installation. Not only were they meticulous about the work, everyone was extremely friendly and pleasant. We highly recommend Phillips Gardens.

I had a very negative experience working with Tyler. I wanted help with a plan for my garden. When I first met him, I told him our budget, he said not to worry about it. When he did up the plan (which we paid a meaningful amount for) the actual cost was 10x our budget. He then had the gall to gaslight me, saying "This should be a learning experience for you that these things cost money." I was apalled by his lack of transparency and ability to work with a modest budget homeowner in the Phillips neighborhood.

We had a great experience with Liam and his team at Philips Garden. They installed plantings for us in our garden beds during the spring of 2024. We were impressed with their knowledge and recommendations for various plant types. The crew on the day of installation was diligent and hardworking. The follow up has been excellent - checking on the plants, providing additional watering and overwintering support and any replacements in 2025.

Such a great group to work with. They also do snow plowing through the winter months. They are very conscientious of clearing out an area from snow and putting the overflow snow where it’s not in the way and won’t cause issues come spring. They have done a beautiful job with landscaping during the summer months. I highly recommend them!

These guys were an absolute pleasure to work with. They were out to estimate and measure within a day of initial contact, and work was complete a week later. They communicated with me every step of the way. I would gladly work with them again and would not hesitate to recommend.

The Arise crew is very efficient. They show up and get the job done. The quality and the value are top notch.

Caleb and Joshua did such an amazing job on placing new dirt, rocks, plastic edging and paver edging all around my house. I would highly recommend them and will use them again for any future yard/landscaping work. Both of them were super friendly and answered all my questions in a timely manner! Price was also very reasonable. I can definitely say the curb appeal to my house is so much better than before.
