Metro Stump Grinding did an excellent job removing my stump. The guys were very professional, efficient and did a wonderful job cleaning up. I would definitely hire them again.

We hired Metro to do a fairly easy stump removal in our front yard. They were doing a project down the street, we saw them there, chatted with them and they (Sean) came over to give a quote, which was very reasonable. They came over a couple of days later to to the work. The work was done quickly and professionally (thanks for protecting our windows!), and Sean actually charged us less than what he had quoted. Don't know many other contractors who would do that. We were very satisfied with the work and in working with them. I'd use them again in a heartbeat (and we'll need to in the near future). Highly recommend.

Very pleased with this company. I had three ash tree stumps grinded. One was a little tricky over a gas line, but it was handled carefully and professionally. Jim was very responsive, and kept me up to date with everything. On time and friendly. Good clean-up. Woukd definitely recommend.

Recently had a large pine tree removed from my small urban yard, including stump grinding. While the company that did the original work did grind up the stump, they left numerous large surface roots behind making it impossible for me to repurpose the yard space. Contacted Metro Stump Grinding after the previous company completely ghosted me. Jim was super responsive and did a great job at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended!

We specialize in retaining walls, patios, hardscapes and softscapes. We do remove stumps but this one was a monster. 4 feet in diameter and we needed a little bigger machinery to get the job done. Got a great price and the guys were out there the next day helping us get the job done. Would highly recommend these guys to anyone looking at getting rid of a tricky stump.

Metro Stump Grinding guys were very easy to deal with and prices were very competitive. They took out 3 stumps for us and were in and out very quickly and cleaned everything up nice. Highly recommend.

Had a gentlemen named Jim come out and do an estimate. He was professional, and was transparent on work that would need to be done. He was fair on the estimate and was more attentive compared to to a couple other estimates I had. Overall, I decided to go with Metro Stump Grinding and they did an excellent job. They dug easily 12" down and made sure extended roots were eliminated. Efficient work and great customer service. Highly recommend.

Run by a local family in Northeast Minneapolis....all of their workers are very polite and friendly and they really know a lot about trees (I learned a lot). It felt cool to hire someone who is passionate about their work.

Always happy with their performance. We're trying to get a ten-year-old tree pruned back where we don't get so much shade. These guys are full service. We do our own cleanup but I'm too old to go up the tree. I'll post a photograph before and after.
