We've used Dave and crew for several projects over the years and have always been very pleased with their work. They're friendly, reliable, and deliver quality results. Highly recommended!

Called many handy man services. Got one that wanted over $500 to install a mailbox (I had Post and mail box). Another after getting his recording said to text or email (I did both). That guy never responded, just like several others. But when I called Dave he actually answered his phone. I said "I need help" and he did say he had another project he was working on but promised to "take care of me" next week. He texted me and I returned his call on Wed 10/23. He said he would come over Thurs.10/24 at 9AM. He got to work right away. The hole for the pole had a hard clay base so he had to make an adjustment. He cut the post down, put on mail box and cemented the post down and finished in 1.25 hrs. Found out he had 35 years of handyman experience. Do not bother wasting your time calling other people who do not answer their phone or call you back when Dave is the man who will help you. Jerry O. says many thanks Dave.

Dave is our go-to for tons of projects and we have loved working with him, Fred, and Jody at two homes over the years. Reliable, friendly, honest, and everything you could want in a handyman!

Dave has been my handyman for years. He's very responsive, thorough and does great work. I rely on him for my household projects. I don't need to call anyone else. I'm very satisfied with him!

Dave is a great guy who is super easy to talk to and work with. He and Jody have created some awesome custom book shelves, built a custom coat/shoe closet, and done a bunch of smaller jobs for us including some electrical work. It’s legitimately so nice to have someone trustworthy you can call and work with on a variety of different sized jobs that you either don’t have the right tools for or don’t trust to do yourself 🙂. He does great work and will make sure you’re happy with what’s been done. Can’t recommend him and Jody enough!

Dave and Jody are very professional and pleasant to work with. They did a great job renovating my deck. Its a relief to me to have a handyman team that is reliable and very punctual. I would highly recommend them.

Where do I start? CONS : Customer service is TERRIBLE.. For the Minnesota location. You can never get a hold of a REAL person,
always either automatically put on hold or sent to voice mail. Takes forever to get back to you for your order details etc. BE sure to never use these guys again! read other posts same issue. EEK

Cons:
- Customer service is strangely absent. When trying to reach their Minnesota branch, we're consistently sent to voicemail, which is always full. Emails, if responded to, are heavily delayed in response. Calls to their corporate office are well received and attentive, but even they can't seem to reach the local branch. Local customer service requires a severe overhaul.
- When we have been successful in reaching Vallen, we were told by both sales and customer service that they were terribly busy and have been swamped. We even attempted to place a large order, but after three weeks and multiple chased confirmations of receipt, we still don't have a price on a widely stocked carbide insert.
- Attempts to set up an account with Vallen have been a significant struggle. Despite being a debt-free, privately owned, multi-million dollar business with an MRO spend of nearly 7-figures, we've tried for 3 weeks, immediately responding to any requests, yet still somehow remain unsuccessful.
Pros:
- Past use of their services demonstrated highly competitive pricing in most areas of safety, abrasives, cutting tools, and misc common parts.

Despite having a past relationship with Vallen, I'm highly disappointed in where they've gone. I have to have a dependable source for materials and Vallen has struck out in all fields after giving them considerable time and communication, far more than any company deserves. Vallen gets a solid 'F' rating. I hope corporate steps in and shakes things up as I'd really like to have them as a supplier again.

10/10 Mike was on time and professional. I had him move some outlets and electric work around the house. He talked me through what he was doing and taught me how to do it myself in the future. Educational and got the work done really well at a good price. I would absolutely use him again.

Abraham came within one hour and saved my house from flooding with a smile at the end of a long work day. Look no further these are good old fashioned people that work hard and try to make your day a little better.

they are incredibly rude and unprofessional! they install the new water heater through CenterPoint but bang the wall and the door while they were taking the old water heater out! they don't even try to come and fix it soon! do a favor to yourself and find another plumbing company for your job!

Great service. We had them out to install a valve on our gas line, as well as a new stove. They worked quickly, were courteous, and priced well.

After waiting over 4-hours for service, plumber wanted $650 more than quoted. When I said I needed to talk to my wife and to the sales person, he refused to wait 5 minutes. High pressure, unprofessional, will never use.

Installation was fast and efficient. They took the old hot water heater with them and left the space neat and tidy

Urban Pine Plumbing was excellent, efficient and very knowledgeable as they took out and reinstalled a new water heater in my house.

If their plumbing is anything like their driving, avoid at all cost. Some man driving one of their trucks was weaving in and out of traffic in the West metro on 7/24/2023 shortly after Noon. No signals, speeding, unnecessary lane changes, causing lots of people to have to hard brake to avoid collisions. Cut in front of me four different occasions.

Technician was on time and did a good job explaining the process. Covered carpeting and cleaned up the job site prior to completion of the project.
