Preferred Plumbing has been doing work for our custom home building company for many years. They are very professional and always get the job done! It has been a pleasure working with the owner and all of his employees.

We bought a new construction home and preferred plumbing added an upgrade to our master bathroom sink. In less than a month the sink hose had a major leak causing damage to our bathroom. Preferred plumbing came out to look at it and left. They did not tell us what was going on. They just left without fixing it or giving us any information expect that they needed to call our builder. I called preferred plumbing three times the next day and left a VM but they did not return our call. I contacted my builder who told me preferred plumbing is saying it was a manufacture problem and will not fix it. What a horrible company. I would never use them and they did not stand by their work.

Preferred Plumbing replaced a water heater in my home. The old water heater was not a typical dimension (height). Dan was able to locate a replacement and install it at a reasonable price. Honest, professional service with excellent communication is how I describe the owner and employees of Preferred Plumbing. They are on the top of my list if I have plumbing issues in the future!

This company was contracted through Best Buy to install our new washer/dryer. We paid Best Buy for both washer and dryer installation at time of purchase. Though I was not present for the installation, they charged my wife an additional $240 in installation partsfees. I understand the $80 for the permit for the gas dryer, and have no issues with that. However, the $160 for installation and venting/tubing, etc was all supposed to be included in our initial fee to Best Buy. The actual installation seems to have been okay other than the fact that the washer wasn't leveled properly, so I am giving them 2 stars for that, but no more due to the upcharges!

MN Plumbing & Home Services was contracted through Best Buy to do our waterline installation on our new fridge. Mike and Omar arrived on time and were professional, but informed us that due to the layout of our kitchen and cabinets, the install couldn't be completed. They confirmed they would CANCEL the installation as they were unable to complete the work. However, they did not and Best Buy has confirmed, now five days later, that MN Plumbing marked the install as COMPLETED AND INVOICED. What a scam! We paid someone for nothing.

Ordered a dryer through BestBuy and I guess they outsourced the install to these guys. On arrival I learned I had to pay over $100 more. They said it was something to do with parts but I was fairly certain parts were included in my purchase. However the reason I am giving them such a low review is because they neglected to re-light my pilot light after switching off the gas. Not having hot water the next day was great, especially after the first major snow fall of the year. Thanks guys.

Ordered a washer/dryer unit from Best Buy and had MN Plumbing & Home Services out to do the install and removal of my old unit. Tucker & his partner (sorry I didn't catch your name!) did a great job in a timely manner. Highly recommend!

Mike and Devon did a washer and gas dryer installation this morning at my home. They were super!!! Very professional, explained everything they were doing and made sure I was informed on how to use my new appliances. Just an overall a great experience dealing with the both of them.

Do not work with this company!

They installed a washer and dryer for us back in April, installed the water lines incorrectly, and with several code violations that were found when we tried to close out the permit. We have been trying to get in contact with them ever since to come fix the problems, it started with multiple excuses and now we have not been able to get ahold of anyone for over a month. It is now October. We last heard from someone in August. I don't know how this company is still in operation. I don't know how Lisa still has her job. This is beyond ridiculous.

Warning to everyone - never ever do business with this company.

I would avoid this company like the plague. They were chosen by a big box retailer to install a dishwasher that I had purchased. Almost immediately after arrival I was informed by MN Plumbing that I would need to pay them $150 additional to replace a $10 shut off valve. If I was unwilling to pay them this amount they advised that they would not install the dishwasher and I would be left to fend for myself. I would have had no problem paying for the additional part that was needed, but the vast difference in the part cost and the amount charged is nothing short of extortion.

Two guys came to deliver and install our washing machine, and they did a fantastic job. Great communication, skilled, friendly, on time, and respectful of our property. We are very grateful!

Had an appointment for dishwasher installation that was confirmed via best buy and MN plumbing and home services's text template. There was a snow storm this afternoon which made me figure the installation appointment would be cancelled. What made me immediately lose faith in this business however was that the window came and went and now two hours later I have no follow up. It's one thing to cancel for this sort of weather, totally understandable. It's entirely different to leave your client in the dark about this being the case. In this day and age, not being good with communication is a death sentence for businesses. Beyond being forced to use them due to retail partnerships, I'd never consider doing business with them by choice.
    Do better.

Edit: seems like someone else left a similar review today regarding no contact for a best buy delivery.

It's also very telling that they respond to only the positive reviews and none of the negative. Talk about lacking accountability.

Purchased dishwasher from Best Buy - it was installed within the 'arrival window' and necessary upgrades were made to my plumbing to bring it to code (adding a hammer valve). Installation was quick and appeared to go well. The crew cleaned up well and I am very pleased.
My only complaint is actually with my city - that requires a permit for installing a dishwasher, which seems absurd.

WARNING: LIARS & CARELESS TECHNICIANS!! This company was contracted by Best Buy to install my kitchen appliances. They damaged two of my cabinets during their careless installation.

The microwave holes they drilled looked like an 8 year old just discovered power tools. The hole was supposed to be 3/8", but the drill bit they used appears to be 5/8" or larger and they elongated the hole to over 1.5" long. They also blew out a huge chunk of wood around it, leaving little to no support for this bolt that is holding a 65 lbs microwave.

They also cracked off the lower face of the cabinet that my wall mounted oven is installed in by placing the entire weight of the oven on the face of the cabinet, which can't be repaired.

On top of all of this, they lied about the damage caused and are trying to deny me coverage through Best Buy's insurance provider. This has caused me a massive headache and waste of time. I've had to take another day of work for a second installation. File an time-consuming insurance claim. Repeated follow up with photo evidence of the damage. And my appliances still aren't installed correct. I have $7000 of appliances partially installed into hacked up cabinets.

I will update this review if they decide to own-up to their mistakes and carelessness and make it right with me and Best Buy.

MN Plumbing and Appliance Installation has done 2 install and haul aways for me from Best Buy in the last month - a dishwasher and a gas dryer. Both times Eric and Nate were the technicians.

Their service is extremely professional and the technicians are very friendly - they called the day before to give me a time window, 30 minutes before they arrived the day of the appointment, and were respectful of my space (they offered to remove their shoes, etc..). They also didn't mind my silly questions when I didn't understand something they were telling me.

For the gas dryer, the technicians had to update the gas so it was up to code, but they gave me an estimate of the cost and explained what they needed to do so that I understood.

Installation with MN Plumbing was super easy both times they came out to my house, so I would not hesitate calling them for any future plumbing needs.
