Bernie was excellent to work with. Dakota Electric recommends getting 3 bids from electricians to have an off peak meter installed along with adding a 240 outlet in the garage for EV charging. Bernie was one of the 3 I contacted. Fair pricing, and just a nice honest man. Returns calls, shows up when he says he will, easy to work with and cleans up after himself! Highly recommend!

Our electrician today was Alex LaVictoire. He was super! He was very professional and went through the house and did a thorough inspection. He then took the time to explain how things look. Tyler did an exceptional job figuring out what was causing our dryer to act up. He took his time to troubleshoot a few things and ended up replacing a breaker on the panel that he had on his vehicle. He was quick, efficient, and friendly. He even wore shoe covers without me asking to remove his shoes inside our home. Great job Tyler

Alex was on time, identified the problem and fixed it pronto. He was a very personable young man - it was a pleasure meeting him and having him do our repair.

There was a short circuit causing the fuse to trip every few minutes. George went through patiently and found the issue . He worked at it diligently for 3 hours. Appreciate the expertise and patience!

Both Alex and Jesse were super friendly and kept me informed step by step of what I needed and made sure I was okay with what needed to be done.

I reached out to them because I kept tripping certain breakers in the circuit box at my business, so I knew I was overloading the system but didn't know how to go about fixing it - specially because it was mainly one breaker that kept tripping everyday. Mind you, it's a grooming salon so there's always something pulling electricity. At first they sent Tyler - he was strange to say the least. He was really serious and dismissive, and whenever I'd talk to him about what was happening it was like he didn't know what to tell me. Either way, he did a "circuit ID" that was incredibly overpriced imo for the work he did (which was put stickers to match the breakers to the outlets), and then he came back a second time to "fix" the problem. This visit was also quite pricey, he supposedly installed a 20v breaker on the breaker that kept tripping (initially 12v), and for 2 days the problem went away... But then, it came back and we were really disappointed! So this time, I requested a different technician for a second opinion, and they sent Alex. LIFE SAVIOR! He actually knew what he was talking about, he was polite and efficient, he re-checked Tyler's work and couldn't find anything wrong with it, but then that's when he explained to me that all we had to do was keep the high voltage devices plugged in different outlets to prevent the overload... This piece of advice was free, and it was the real solution to our problem. Ever since then, we've not tripped any breakers anymore...

I probably could've saved myself time and well over $1k if I had gotten Alex the first time, but anyways... What's done is done!

JUST BEWARE that all their technicians aren't on the same skill level!!!!

Besides that, their monthly $30 "VIP" membership is totally worth it for small business owners.
