We have hired RD & Associates twice for tree removal. Highly recommend.

When we purchased our house in 2006, the backyard and side yard had a plush, thick lawn. For the past decade, the trees have grown to the point where so little sunlight makes it through that the lawn has died off. We reached out a few companies to get quotes for removing several of the trees and trimming the others open things up. One of those companies was RD & Associates. They came highly recommended from a neighbor, and their quote came in over $1000 under the other quotes I received.

Fritz came out and we explained what we were looking to have done. Rich emailed us the quote and got us on the schedule. I doubt many other companies will be able to match their value. The only downside is with that value comes a full backlog of jobs, so it took a while for my turn to come up.

The day of the job, both Rich and Fritz were on site working with their hard-working, very skilled crew. We were amazed at the skill of their tree-climber, Kyle. We had several trees that were over-hanging our 2-story house. The crew took the trees down piece-by-piece, never touching the house. In all, they took our seven box elder trees, four arborvitae, removed one large limb from a neighbor's tree and trimmed back another box elder. Additionally, they allowed me to give them other tree limbs and branches to grind up. It took a full day and a couple hours the next day to wrap things up. They were very diligent about cleaning things up afterwards. We have already given their business cards to neighbors. The whole crew was also so friendly and personable. I would highly recommend RD & Associates.

These gentlemen are very friendly, courteous, professional, knowledgeable. They do excellent work, leave a clean work site. Any team member they bring onto your property are the same, friendly, courteous, hard workers. This company is very efficient with their time. The pricing was phenomenal! Lower than anyone else I checked with. It's too bad I don't have another tree that needs cut down~ it's not always easy to find a company you can trust. Thank you for all the great work!

I was thoroughly impressed by the service I received from Traverse tree service. They gave a great price and knew their schedule exactly for fitting us in that worked great for our schedules
They showed up. Started working immediately and was able to remove the tree with ease. They take great care and attention to detail for clean up and consideration for the landscape around the tree, to not disrupt or damage. I would highly recommend them to anyone and use them again in the future for any tree needing to come down!

I had a tricky tree located between two buildings, about 5ft from each building, with a split and hollow trunk. I was increasingly worried about it and with a long vacation on the horizon I wanted it gone so I didn’t have to worry about storms rolling through when I wasn’t around. Traverse were willing to shuffling things to get me in earlier than originally discussed, get the tree down without any incidents.

Communication was great, pricing reasonable, punctual and quality work. Clean up much better than expected. Far less lawn damage than I imagined. Would 100% hire again.

They did an excellent job cutting down our huge willow tree! We had a new fence coming in, and he fit us in right away. Very reasonably priced. Cleaned everything up very well! 100% recommend! Will use again in the future.

Latest storm in Shakopee took down a limb from our catalapa in the backyard. Vadim advised on the safety concerns since it was still attached at top of tree. He and his crew member were able to remove the limb as well as another decaying lead over the house, the next day. They cleaned their debris in addition to much of the storm debris. Very courteous service. Thank you Vadim, we very much appreciate you!

Vadim Freidis and his team were very professional at their work, providing me with a reasonable quote for their services and completing the work with high quality and as per the agreed upon timelines. For my yard, they removed two and trimmed several trees as well as removed the stumps. I will definitely use their services again when the need arises.

Excellent skill and customer focus, attention to detail, and would highly recommend. They did a great job, cleaning up the entire area - I would give them a 10 but there are only 5. I will be calling them again soon for some additional projects.
