We were impressed with the service, from providing a quote to scheduling and executing the work. It was very efficient and all the staff worked well together to provide good service. The communication was very clear throughout the process and we're very happy with the end result - we now have AC in an 1894 house!

We could not have had a more positive experience.
After meeting with their extremely knowledgeable salesperson we decided to totally revamp the ductwork (it was an inefficient mess). There salesman person stayed involved throughout the entire project and patiently answered our questions.

We also opted for a heat pump and a mini split for the upstairs.

The install was seamless and I had total confidence in their work. It’s a pleasure to know that there are companies that still put a premium on who they hire.

Though I ended up going with a different company for my install, I still wanted to give this company a good review. Brad was my sales rep, he was great. Brad has a no pressure approach, very knowledgeable about the products, and is up front and is a straight shooter. I would recommend.

We had a new air source heat pump and natural gas furnace installed. Great communication and professional service. We are glad to have worked with them.

Braydon was a great salesman. He explained the product we are buying in great detail. Not the first time I've dealt with Snelling Cooling and heating. Each time I've used their services I've received the same great service. All tens in our book.

Snelling Company was out today to replace my furnace, AC, water heater and some electrical work. They were all very friendly, respectful and did an amazing job! They have a new customer for life and I will be recommending them to everyone I know!

I have been using the Snelling Company for many years. Recently I was leaving the country for 5 weeks and thought that my heating system should be checked. Snelling suggested that the system be replaced since it needed several repairs. I agreed. Within one day a new heating/cooling system was installed. The installation and new system work great. I received wonderful energy rebates which made the cost more manageable. I continue to be very satisfied with the Snelling Company and their follow-up.

Snelling came to the rescue when our furnace stopped working! They were so helpful walking us through the process of purchasing a new furnace, we felt very comfortable with their options and they were speedy. They were able to install the new furnace a day earlier than expected and it went very smoothly. Highly recommend them!

Although my house is cool on hot days and I now have a shiney new furnace, I cannot recommend working with this company. From a salesman who is not transparent to an owner who is not well-versed in the business to installers who are friendly but not working as a team, this company has some serious problems. The one bright spot was the master electrician, Joe Mahowald, who listened politely, explained succinctly when I needed correction, and both gave and received apologies when appropriate. If it were my company, I’d put him in charge of staff development.

I contacted Snelling to repair a broken weatherhead on the main electrical service line to my house in St. Paul. They were able to re-attach the weatherhead and charged me only for the trip out there. Saved me tons of money and time.

Very impressed with quality of service and professionalism. Alex Westrum did a thorough job of estimating what was needed for our new furnace, and we're very satisfied with the results!

It's been a few months since we've had our heat pump, hot water heater and new furnace installed so I apologize for not remembering names. Our salesman was awesome, he had prior experience in the field which was a huge bonus. He was very kind and patient. The installation guys were amazing as well, on time, extremely helpful, talked us through everything. We were lucky to get the perfect crew and everything has worked great.

I cannot sing the praises of Snelling enough! Brayden was wonderful throughout the estimate process. We had multiple estimates from different companies and Brayden was upfront about all our options and what would be best for our house. We did our research afterwards and found that the price was fair, the suggestions were correct, and we walked away much more informed about our choice.

Cam and Frank who installed our heat pump and mini split, were also so helpful! They educated us on what would work best for our space and made sure to install our ducts so that we could finish the basement in the future with the least amount of ducts in the way.

Everyone also gave us suggestions about our very, very old boiler and what options we will have in the future. I felt confident with what they were suggesting and so glad we had a team that wanted us more educated than we started.

Charlie was great - he was friendly and listened intently, addressing my HVAC issues. I trust Snelling Heating and Air more than any other to deliver a great experience - with accuracy and integrity.

The tech broke my boiler and I literally overheard him teaching his trainee how to lie to me about it. Amazing.

My boiler was turning on but not functioning properly. The tech came out with a trainee and did an assessment. I heard him explaining to his trainee how to mislead customers if you break something on their property, explaining "if it's close to broken then it's not your fault, so just tell them their such and such needs replacing." Then, the tech told me that I needed a $3,000 repair, or a full replacement, and he'd recommend the second one. After he left I discovered my boiler would no longer turn on at all. Funny how he didn't mention this to me. I called them to see if they had disabled the boiler somehow. I was transferred to a person who was NOT the tech, who immediately was on the defensive. I asked if the tech had turned something off or broke something. He immediately said "well sounds like it was already broken if it wasn't heating." I said "well now it doesn't turn on at all." He immediately started asking if specific parts were working/not working. I said I don't know, I'm not a mechanic, but it's not turning on now and your tech didn't mention anything. He said well, he wasn't there so he doesn't know anything, but if it's already broken then he didn't do anything wrong.

Honestly disgusted.

Brandon with Snelling Heating wired and installed new thermostats on our zoned heating. He was great! Very thorough and informative and his work was very neat. We would definitely recommend Brandon and Snelling Heating!

I am so thankful I went with Snelling to solve my heating and cooling issues. I called to ask about heatpumps and my options for making my 100-year-old home less of an icebox/sauna upstairs. Brayden explained my options and the caveats to heat pumps... that they're great, but in our climate may need extra support. He took the time to explain the science of airflow through a home and identified the fact that my existing ductwork was basically working against those principles.

I got the ductwork reconfigured and a new heatpump as well to support things and can already tell the different. This was a worthwhile investment... not just because it works but also because I know this team... Brayden, plus installers Frank, Ethan, Kan and William... and electrician Mike... all came together to make things function better for my home. They were respectful of my space, patient with my questions, and truly went above and beyond to accommodate my plans for future renovations.

At a time when HVAC companies feel more like salesmen, Snelling steps in and brings you back to reality. I had the absolute best experience working with Brayden and the installation crew here. They did amazing work with my new boiler & water heater replacement, even going above and beyond to do some extra minor electrical work at the time that wasn't included in the quote, just because they had the time and capability for it.

Snelling put in a ductless mini split unit into our home and had excellent service through every step. They explained the process and their costs very upfront and were very accommodating with any questions we had. Installation was incredibly quick and professionally done. Highly recommend!

Service from Snelling Heating Cooling and Electrical was great. They showed up on time for servicing my 1940s home in Midway, St. Paul. Brandan listened to my story and offered a thorough explanation of what he was to service. His solution fixes were successful and the bill was much less than the full furnace replacement I was told I would need by another HVAC company the day before. I will trust Snelling on my next HVAC service call.
