They came over in the middle of the winter to give me a quote. The quote was very reasonable compared to other contractors. We asked for an expansion of the work, and they provided that updated within a few days. Yesterday they completed the work nearly two weeks sooner than I expected. They were very professional. They cleaned up after their job was completed. I highly recommend them.

Great job in a tight spot in St. Paul back yard. They moved my yurt platform using creative tools and methods they were very patient and careful. Top quality equipment and amazingly skilled crew.

Adam, Scott, and the crew did a great job replacing my driveway, sidewalk, and stoop. They made sure the layout was what I wanted and offered suggestions based on their expertise. They kept me up to date on the project timeline and were easy to work with from start to finish. I really appreciated their attention to detail. I've already recommended them to my neighbors.

Mike and his crew are professional, on time and thorough. We’ve hired them for our home (4 big oaks) and our commercial property (4 big oaks). They also trimmed the oaks at both our neighbor’s, my brother’s and another friend’s house because of our good experience. Highly recommend!! And Kim in the office is the best!!

Highly recommend!! I had a tree that was cracking after a storm, and was in imminent danger of falling on power lines and our house. I got multiple quotes and Sorenson was very reasonable, and the most professional. 12 hours after the quote, we had a huge crane lifting the tree OVER our house!! The crew was quick but thorough. In 2 hours the tree was down and the mess cleaned up!!

Mike and his crew did a wonderful job. He came over to meet with me to develop a plan first to make sure it was exactly what we were looking for. Turns out, it was better than we could have expected! Did such a great job cleaning up after !

Adam was very informative and detailed which was appreciated as I knew nothing about concrete. He also responded quickly and was an easy person to communicate with. Scott, the foreman, and his team arrived on time on the day of the project and they did a really great job! Every person I encountered or spoke with was kind and pleasant to work with. Highly recommend!!

This was the second time we have used Sorenson for our tree service. Had estimates from two others at more than twice the price and unknown schedule but weeks away. We got the estimate from Sorenson on Friday, they came on Sunday and did the work. Cleaned up better than expected. I would recommend them any time.

Took bids from at least 10 different companies Sorenson shot all of them out the park with value and timeline. They came through and exceeded my expectations helping me take care of a dangerous damaged tree other contractors would not take on without expensive equipment.

I use Sorenson for all of my solar customers tree trimming / removal. They are very responsive, great with communication, and fairly priced. I’ve only dealt with Mitch Bauer and have had fantastic experiences with him. Highly recommend!

Sorenson does not back up their work. Besides tree service, they had a division that did concrete work. A year and a half ago, they installed a patio for me. After the snow melted I discovered that the concrete was falling apart. It continues to get worse each day. I have left numerous messages for the owner, Mike, indicating I would like to discuss the issue and try to resolve the problem. He has not returned any of my phone calls. At this point I have no option but to take him to conciliation court. Under the circumstances it will be next year before I can have the patio repaired due to contractors being booked​.

They replaced my patio, front sidewalk, the garage apron and added a small slab for my garbage containers. The patio was stamped. They coordinated their work with another business that installed a privacy fence. Their crew worked hard and efficiently. I am very pleased with the results!

Sorenson put in a back yard stamped concrete patio for us and did a phenomenal job. From the initial meeting with Adam, to the installation and finishing, it couldn’t have gone any better. Credit to Scott and crew for their hard work. We are delighted with the finished product and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sorenson to anyone looking for a truly professional service.

Sorenson did a great job removing my Ash tree. Such a great job, in fact, that my neighbor ended up having them remove two trees in his backyard while they were here. Their quote was reasonable (especially compared to another one I received that was twice as much, and had me thinking about doing it myself, which likely would not have turned out well...). I'm so glad I got an additional estimate, instead of just assuming the first quote was 'the going rate'. HOWEVER, I've given them four stars instead of five because of the stump removal process, as it didn't go as smoothly. There were communication challenges that resulted in it taking weeks to get the stump removed (separate from weather delays). Initially, I thought it was just me, but my other neighbor had the same experience. I discovered that they use a third party for their stump removal, so it's not all in-house. All of that said, I would still use them again because the tree removal process went so well, and their prices are so competitive, but I would do so with the awareness that the lower price means I'll have to repeatedly follow up with them to get the stump removed.

I contacted Sorenson Companies in order to replace my old backyard patio and to extend it further into the yard; in addition to having my old backyard sidewalk replaced. My old patio and sidewalk was torn up and replaced quickly and efficiently. Every step of the process went smoothly and quickly. Getting an estimate from Adam (Operations Manager) was quick, painless and very affordable. Adam and his crew worked with me every step of the way, worked efficiently and made sure everything was perfect.

Adam responded to my emails very quickly and was very knowledgeable about the product. Adam and the crew also cares about the clean up process and took extra time to clean up after the job, which was much appreciated.

The crew was on time and was able to arrive early on the second day. The crew worked extremely hard into the early evening and was able to complete the patio pouring a day earlier than expected. The crew worked extremely well together, were polite, friendly and in good spirits. The crew did exceptional work. Big shout out to Adam, Scott, Mike, Dillon, Refik and Mike for their hard and amazing work.

I would highly recommend Sorenson to anyone! Thanks again guys.

Great job done by everyone on this crew. We had a garage floor, sidewalk, and steps replaced. Everything looks fantastic. Adam, Scott and the entire crew were friendly, courteous, and very knowledgeable. Always on time and worked long hours. They also did concrete work with three of my neighbors at the same time. Everyone is satisfied with the work. I definitely reccomend these folks for concrete work. Great job!

Sorenson did an excellent job of removing 2 very large silver maple trees (50-60 feet tall or more). Very tricky jobs: both trees were leaning towards or over our house as well as neighbors homes, and also right next to power lines. They did a fantastic job of carefully dismantling the trees while avoiding damage to all buildings as well as plants below them ( several young arborvitae and lilacs). Communication with them (Mitch and Kim as well as their crew)was excellent at all times and they showed great care and respect for property and plants. Prices were very competitive (lower than most quotes). Will happily use them again.

Great experience with Sorenson Companies! I had a tree and stump removed by them last fall, which caused some damage to my sidewalk pavement. They came out first thing this spring and fixed the damaged pavement. I also hired them to pave the rest of my sidewalk since they were coming out. Their team was great to work with. Good communication, on-time, and polite. They were very detailed and meticulous about smoothing the concrete and making sure things were left clean and safe. Very hard workers! Would definitely hire them again for tree removal and concrete work!

I hired Sorenson for concrete work for new front steps and all new sidewalks. The crew was great, professional and did an amazing job. Adam and Scott were easy to work with and very helpful. Everything looks so good, I am super happy with the result! I would highly recommend Sorenson, they do great work!

Was given a trial job with Sorenson. Didn't work out unfortunately, but I enjoyed the work, and the opportunity to learn and grow in a new profession. I wish Mike the best, & would definitely recommend this company to anyone with tree issues. This is a group of no nonsense, get the job done professionally, crew members.

They were out quickly to give an estimate. I got 2 other estimates and they came in as the best. They said the work would take 2 days which what was expected. Scott and his crew came out and started the work at 7am. When there was a decision to be made about the work, Scott gave me options and solutions. They were done with the job at 7pm and turned out great. They did an excellent job with cleanup and the work done was better then expected. I had neighbors getting business cards from Scott to get their driveways done! I highly recommend!

They removed a large maple and stump. Very professional and fast. Did an incredible job with clean up and attention to detail and care of the lawn and property. Also gave advice about other tree maintenance issues. Highly recommended!!
