Constraction reviews in Stillwater, Minnesota

Grand Concrete is a class act company! I totally understand why they have reached such high ratings and satisfied customers! They are fair priced for excellent work. Andy and team were very professional and the communication was impressive to say the least! They were a pleasure to work with. Thanks again for the painless, awesome job!

Grand Concrete did an outstanding job raising our concrete garage apron and front walkway, making them level again. After years of battling ice dams, opting for raising instead of replacement saved us a lot of money. Their work was top-notch, and I highly recommend them for concrete raising or replacement.

It’s often a challenge for homeowners with SMALL concrete projects to source a reputable and well-regarded contractor. (I needed to remove and replace an 8X8 concrete pad by my front door). I reached out to eight local companies. Two failed to respond to me, four rejected my project as too small-and/or had a project minimum of $4K+. Two companies bid my job.

Andy at Grand Concrete was by far the most responsive of the people I connected with and provided a more reasonable price point for a small project. He was friendly, polite and informative, and I was taken by the company’s stellar online reviews. After I gave Andy the green light to do the job, it was scheduled for a date about five weeks out. The job itself took place exactly as proposed.

I was unfortunately gone much of the morning the actual work took place, but per my wife, the crew worked efficiently. The job itself, from start to finish, took only 3 ½ hours, so an A+ for efficiency. The final product looked great and was a vast improvement over the old concrete that was removed, likely there for a half a century.

Bottom line, I highly recommend Andy and his company. Concrete work is a unique skillset. It a home improvement project where you absolutely want experienced, qualified people. It’s not something that justifies cutting corners or settling for a lessor "handyman" type of person to undertake. Admittedly, you do pay a tidy sum for skilled concrete contractors, but it’s to your benefit to bite the bullet and pay the price. Thanks to Andy for a job well done!

Andy and the team at Grand concrete provide exceptional service with attention to detail. Andy went out of his way to give us the best product that suited our needs and not just to create business. If you want someone honest that cares about your project as much as you then this is the place you need to go. He went over options provided suggestions and went above and beyond to take care of things. The work performed looks amazing. We will definitely use Grand concrete in the future.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Grand Concrete and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Their team delivered high-quality work with precision and attention to detail, ensuring that every aspect of the project was handled professionally.
What truly stood out was the excellent customer service by Andy, Randy and all of the employees. From the initial consultation to the completion of the job, every team member was friendly, approachable and knowledgeable.
We especially appreciated their willingness to go the extra mile to ensure our satisfaction, maintaining a clean and safe worksite throughout the process.
If you’re looking for a company that combines top-notch craftsmanship with a team of courteous and skilled professionals we highly recommend Grand Concrete!

Everything about this company is great . The best people great work, done with pride. They do everything to make you happy and satisfied. Andy the owner bends over backwards to help in everyday. I asked about other projects and he even found other people he could recommend that he trusts. I can't recommend him enough you won't go wrong with this company.
I just had Jamie a friend of Andy who is a great handyman, he did gutters and leaf filters on my home really great work and more then fair on pricing. Really happy with him and his work another man of his word. You need something done call these guys, you don't have to shop estimates these guys are more then fair and do great work !!!!

Andy and the Grand Concrete crew were fantastic! Super flexible while we worked through issues with the city, handled the adjustments with a great attitude and lots of patience. The finished product looks wonderful and sets us up to successfully raise our garage over the next few weeks.

Grand Concrete did an excellent job on my patio. It looks beautiful and was done quickly and efficiently. They also made sure the surrounding area looked neat and tidy with extra dirt brought in and the area seeded for new grass. Grand Concrete also went above and beyond our contract, making an effort to save the roots of a bush they removed that was then replanted in my yard. Andy was my contact and was always quick to respond to any communication. He answered every question I had quickly and fully. I highly recommend Grand Concrete!

We hired Noel with Crafted Contracting to remodel a hstoric house that had been neglected by the previous owners. Unfortunately, nearly everything done by his crews was done cheaply and incorrectly. He almost never showed up and left for weeks on vacation mid job without any warning, putting us in a bind as we were on a tight schedule. Its now been five years and we’re still finding issues and cracks due solely to his lack oversite and terrible employees. We’ve had to replaster several rooms. Rips in the vapor shield had to be corrected. He promised us the demo crew would cover the floors during plaster removal, I showed up and nothing was covered and floors sustained severe damage. I asked if it was necessary to fur out wall studs to provide proper depth for sheetrock. ‘No need, I’ve done tons of historic houses’ he said, which created days of extra work when trimming openings. If you care about your property, look elswhere.

Awesome

Noel is very responsive, kind, professional and his crews are friendly and talented. We were pleased with the balance of professionalism, quality of work and fair pricing. Highly recommend!

Noel and his team were wonderful to work with on our room addition. He was professional, and always prompt answering my questions that sometimes comes on the weekends. We look forward to working with him again.

Horrible experience. Don’t take my word for it- just ask around. Local electricians, carpenters, plumbers- everyone knows this guy will leave you with a complete mess. Doesn’t finish, cuts corners, can’t close out permits with the city. Call the city, talk to your neighbors- get the truth.

We hired Noel to assist us in our office at the Greater Stillwater Chamber and he was a rockstar! He was fast with quality service making sure everything was done professionally and in a timely manner. His communication skills and attention to detail was appreciate. He took great pride in his work and we would definately refer him unconditionally.

So happy with Noel and Crafted Contracting. He and his crew were friendly and great to work with. We received a fair and honest quote, and he provided quality and honest work in a timely matter. I would work with Crafted Contracting again without question.

I've worked with Crafted Contracting on multiple commercial projects and they are my go-to general contractor for commercial and residential business. Noel is an authentic person, trustworthy, conscientious and always has the client's best interest in front. I'd give more stars if I could!

Noel and his team put up our attached garage and did an awesome job. It looks even better than we had hoped for. He is very responsive and worked hard to get the best pricing on our materials. I would highly recommend Crafted Contracting and will be using him again for future projects. Thanks Noel!

We had a flood that ruined our kitchen and basement. Noel and his crew were there to help every step of the way. Not only is he a nice guy, he is very knowledgeable about how things work in the home and is able to troubleshoot on the fly. I would hire Noel again, I highly recommend Crafted Contracting.

I've done several projects, big and small, with Noel. He's not only an expert at what he does, but he's also the most trustworthy contractor I've ever worked with. A rare thing in that business. He's great at designing and executing any project. And he's a good guy, to boot. I wouldn't trust anyone else to do a contracting job. I've recommended him many times to friends, and they couldn't have been happier with the results. Noel's the real deal. You can't go wrong.

Noel completed interior and exterior stone work at our home and we couldn’t be happier with the finished product. We appreciated his strong attention to detail. He was very punctual and easy to work with. We would recommend Noel to any/all our friends without hesitation.

I had a porch conversion project that Noel worked on. What a refreshing experience! It is difficult to find reliable, talented and honest contractors and I hit the jackpot with Crafted Construction. I recommend Noel highly. I already have plans for more remodeling projects and I know who I will call. Did I mention that Noel is just an all out good guy?
