McKenzie and Hannah are AMAZING! In there expert work and incredible kind and caring personalities. I feel like I have exceptional cleaners and wonderful people doing the job! (And Hannah removed a dead squirrel carcas from my front steps)! I can not say enough about there professional and caring work. They are AMAZING!!

Zen Day is phenomenal! We have been using Zen Day for almost a year and couldn’t be happier. They are professional, prompt, quiet, and so friendly. I work from home so am always here when they are working, and they do an amazing job and are never disruptive. I’m so happy to have found them!

This is a review for the Stillwater location. I scheduled a move-out deep clean for our house on a specific day. The "owner" or manager (male) even called before the service to confirm. The space they'd be working on was about 1100 sq ft, so they knew the details of the job. I had pre-booked 3 hours. ONE cleaner showed up on the day. She didn't come close to finishing the work- she was a lovely person and the work she did was good. But as it was her first day with this company(!??), she wasn't sure if she should leave right at 3 hours with the job not done. We told her this was not her responsibility and thanked her for her work. I assumed I'd text the person I'd been corresponding with at the company to resolve it--letting them know the job wasn't done and we needed a second cleaner. But when I did this- they tried to pretend it was a business message only number and just started sending invoices and refusing to answer my questions. I called and no one answered. The cleaner said she would talk to her manager that day, but they never followed up. I answered their request for feedback (automated and nothing to do with the problem at hand) and again told them what had happened. No response- just more invoices every day demanding their $240 for an incomplete job. (Also, $240 for 3 hours is QUITE the mark-up.) When selling a house, you have dates and deadlines that have to be met, and services that are contingent upon one another. This situation threw off our schedule and we had to scramble to hire a second cleaner from another agency to finish the job two days later. I don't know what has happened since the 5-star reviews, but my experience with Zen Day Cleaning was absolutely awful and the office staff behaved terribly. As I paid the invoice and the job was never finished, I consider this theft- or, in business terms, a broken contract. Shame on you, Zen Cleaners. You had plenty of chances to make this right.

Very bad experience, was charged for hours and they only swept and vacuumed. Lots of great "promise" and communication in order to get my card info. Don't believe it. All communication was cut after I expressed my concern. No dusting, or wiping areas. They did clean the stove. I paid for a deep clean. Didn't really get it. I have since found someone but not advertising as I need their schedule to remain open, lol. Summary: DO NOT USE this company, its a scam.

We contacted owner Mackenzie on May 10th to have our home cleaned prior to putting it on the market.  She wasn't very friendly or informative on the phone, but we found out that is because she answers calls while she's cleaning.  She advised us to fill out a form online and to pay in advance for both a stage clean and a deep clean.  We told her our job would take 2-3 staff about 8 hours.  Melissa, my partner, even called her back after she booked the cleaning appointments to make sure that Mackenzie understood what we were looking to have done.  She assured us she knew what she was doing and everything was going to be fine.  We received a text message advising us of their arrival at 11:30am, and for an 8 hour day, that seemed quite late.  When Mackenzie arrived, she was alone and Melissa asked if there was more staff coming to help.  The owner seemed quite upset and said she had an employee quit and she was short staffed, but more help would come later in the day.  We've had cleaning companies in the past and we have a full time maid at our winter home.  We've never had a cleaning company come in and tell us that they "won't move things", or that we have "too many bottles" in our bathroom.  Melissa made sure that before they even came to the house, what the expectation was, and once they arrived the owner back peddled.  She said the job would take longer than she expected.  Melissa offered to help multiple times throughout the day, and to pay more to get the job done, feeling sorry that they were clearly ill-equipped to handle the task at hand.  An hour and a half later two more staff showed up, and the owner became nicer.  They spent 4 hours out of an 8 hour day for just about $700.  In the end, they missed a room that Melissa clearly told the cleaner (Laura) she would move the cat into the bathroom when it was done, and she confirmed and said she would stick her head outside and let her know when she needed the cat moved.  We have it on video.  They ended up not cleaning that bedroom, or the laundry room, but left an invoice charging for them.  I came home and was astonished at how poorly the house was cleaned.  Melissa had already text the owner and advised her of the missed rooms and charges, and instead of apologizing for the misunderstanding, or offering to come back and finish the job, she blamed Melissa for it not getting done.  She also said that it was our fault for the house not being "ready" to be cleaned, even though she knew we were in the process of moving prior to showing up.  These people's only job for a business is to clean, yet somehow they don't want to clean.  When Melissa told her we were canceling our deep cleaning appointment she wrote back and again blamed us for her not doing her job.  They skipped a bunch of things on the checklist (windows, baseboards, floors, light fixtures) because they had another job to go to, and what they did clean we had to have recleaned, other than the two showers which were done very well.  She will say it was because there were things in the way, but that's not the case, they were in a hurry.  We have pictures and video to prove it.  How do you miss a bookcase, or every window in the house?  I left little "tokens" around the house to see if they cleaned what they said they did, and sure enough, they were all right where I left them.  Coins on windows, a pen in a bathroom, a cat toy near a shelf.  As a small business owner this is beyond unprofessional.  We weren't looking to get anything for free, as a matter of fact, we offered to help and to pay more.  In the end the owner took $34 off the invoice for not cleaning two rooms on our square footage which should have been more like $70 and 200 sq ft. missed. Luckily we were able to hire another company at the last minute to come in and clean.  They used the same checklist & had to re-clean most of it, and cleaned even better with one person over 4 hours than they're entire appointment.  Vent they checked as cleaned, the clean one is what we recleaned by another company & shelves & flooring.

Where do I even begin!

We had a company come in and did the worst job ever! Over promised and way under delivered! Not even the basic things were done. We have our realtor coming in a couple days and had to scramble to find another cleaning company.. I didn’t think it would be possible in such a short notice, but the heavens gates have opened and provided Kenzie and team from zen day cleaning. Not only was she super sweet, understanding, accommodating, she went above and beyond our expectations! She even came back the next day to finish up! She took her time to make sure everything was touched. It’s obvious how much she truly enjoys what she does. I was even shocked that my bed was made and the toilet paper folded at the end to make it look nice… those little touches, although small, meant so much and truly shows the attention her and her team took.

I would 1000% recommended this company over and over again without hesitation. I know the feeling of being worried on whether you’re going to get what you expect, and know with this company, I promise you, you will NOT have that feeling.

DO NOT GO WITH Zen Day Cleaning Services.

We hired this company for a move out deep clean and they have been absolutely terrible to work with from the beginning. They quoted us $180 for a 1400sq/ft 2 bed, 2 bath. I stated multiple times that it was specifically a move out deep cleaning. Fast forward to the day of cleaning, I was later notified that they needed to charge me an additional $60 because they had to stay longer than planned as the house was “dirtier than a normal move out cleaning.” Which was not the case and I was not made aware that this was a possibility or that there was a “time limit.” THEN after they claimed they stayed longer and charged us an additional $60, the photos show you the result of the cleaning. The microwave surface was untouched, there were hair balls in the corners of the rooms, both bathroom sinks and showers were completely untouched. Cabinets were dirty. The list goes on and on … after sending the photos and sharing that we were not happy with the services, they are continuing to say that they will not refund or discount any of our services. Their customer service has been terrible as well. I’ve called multiple times, left multiple emails and they refuse to get on the phone and have an adult conversation with me. They have been texting me and that has been it. STAY AWAY!! It is a complete scam and they have been thee worst cleaning company I have worked with.
