We recently had Five Star Bath Solutions do our bath to shower conversion. They did an excellent job. After the demolition, the existing plumbing was challenging but the plumber solved all the issues and made it all work. The floor to ceiling walls are beautiful, the combined shower and hand-held spray is just as we wanted it and the folding seat they installed is perfect. We also love the clear glass doors. Finally, all the trim and caulking look very professional. We couldn’t be happier with the result. We would unconditionally recommend Five-Star Bath Solutions for a bathroom remodeling project.

I want to give 2 thumbs to Pete(a owner), Rielly(salesperson) Blaine (supervisor) and last but not least Jordan(installer). They did a fantastic job . Not only with the installation but with follow up and customer satisfaction. Thanks guys. I LOVE IT!

We love our new tub to shower conversion and LVP flooring. Tom was wonderful at helping choose products and colors that coordinated. The communication was excellent from the time we signed until the bathroom was finished. Wayne is an extremely efficient and professional installer. We are very pleased and highly recommend this company.

I had a few different companies come over to look at my tub and tell me how to replace it with a walk in shower. From the saleswoman Jennifer to the planner and replacement team, I am very happy with the results at this company. They explained everything in detail. It was completed in 1 day. No surprises. And just a side note, I have 2 dogs and everyone of the employees were great to them. Would definitely recommend.

I thought they did a wonderful job improving my bathroom. From the person who spoke to me in my home about what services they offer to the professionals who did the work was a fairly easy process. Some issues here and there but that’s normal in this biz and all were addressed quickly.

Did a complete bathroom remodel with them. Sadly, so many things went wrong. But they were willing to fix them. Timeline went way beyond expected due to this. Wrong trim installed, wrong sink color, wrong faucets delivered , wrong shower head and towel bar installed. Our cabinet drawers and doors were also very uneven. Not sorry and no apologies were made. This bothered me the most. The actual workers/installers were good. Especially James who had to come multiple times to fix all the mistakes. It was the office or actual contractor that made excuses for all the mistakes. Also never even calling once it was finally done to see how it went. Just charged my cc for the balance. The only thing that was done right the first time were the actual floors. It looks great now but due to so many avoidable issues I cannot recommend them.

We had Five Star Bath remodel all three of our bathrooms this summer over the course of about 6 weeks. While we didn't love the "sales guy comes to your house and sells you on the product" business model, everything else about the experience was top notch. Everyone we dealt with was professional and responsive. Over the course of the three jobs, the few minor issues I caught were resolved fast and didn't change the completion timeline. Overall, I would highly reccomend. Thank you!

From the beginning to the end this wasn't a great experience. It started off with what I assume is a third party phone call to me to schedule a 20 minute meet and greet. After that, a salesman showed up and I told him I was looking to get a shower and replace some toilets. He steam rolled me with high pressure tactics into signing the same day saying "you get 10% off if you sign today since I won't have to make a return trip". They should really look into email, and docusign... no need for a return trip if you update your technology... It took well over an hour, and I was late(from what I planned) getting back from my lunch break. Fortunately, my work is very forgiving as I'm in management, and kind of set my own schedule because I'm available 24 x 7 anyway. After I agreed to get the shower only, and signed the contract the same day he came out, I started the process. This is where the experience got even worse. The point of contact I was given gave me expired proof of insurance that my HOA rejected, and he was unresponsive to several calls and emails, finally I called the main phone number and someone did help me, but I didn't need that extra stress of being ignored. After contemplating what review I should leave for several months(you also get a discount for promising to leave a review) , I finally received an email looking for referrals, and I responded to it. The owner personally responded to me, and that was very much so appreciated, and probably why this isn't a worse review. The job wasn't as high quality as I would have liked, probably mostly the talent of the installer. There was gaps in the caulking, screws visible that I wasn't told might or would happen, and the selves are visibly not level or even, so I tossed a level on it and it seems way off to me, but they say it was intentional so the water doesn't pool, but strangely enough it was one of the selves, not both... I guess it's ok to pool on the one but not the other. Also I'm pretty sure they marked on my current door trim and it didn't come off, but I couldn't say 100% for sure because I don't have a before pic of it. That all being said, if you're looking for only a shower, don't mind a having to jump through hoops as the client, the shower does appear to be mostly decent quality, and don't mind paying a premium for a specialized company that only does showers, this might be the right company for you. They did come fix the caulking, it looks better, but I feel like I could have done as well. The shelves are still not level, and I ended up covering and painting the screws that they left exposed.

We LOVED working with these folks and we LOVE our new walk in shower! Tanner was our installer and he really was a joy to work with. Great service from Tanner and everyone we ever spoke with or emailed. We had our tub & shower replaced with a walk in shower and the difference is fabulous and we love that guarantee! We would recommend them without any hesitation. Great service, price and product!

Editing for my most recent experience - 4 years later, I've moved houses and missed my shower. It doesn't matter that I moved to a newly constructed home, the builder used those inserts that I've always disliked, and after 9 months of using it, I knew I wanted to go back to my Five Star shower. Tom came out to give me a quote, and they are STILL about half the cost of other remodelers. The process took 6 hours this time, but I have no complaints. The plumbers and installation teams were great - aside from one specific plumber that was totally unpleasant and left a mess in our basement. The installation team cleaned up what they could, but I'll let Five Star know about that plumber since they bring outside companies in for that process, but the Five Star team always goes above and beyond. 2021 review
Five Star Bath Solutions of Minneapolis gave me the bathtub and shower combo that I've always wanted at a very attractive price. They beat out the other two companies I received bids from and got the whole bathtub replaced in 4 HOURS!!! I'm so excited about this bathroom face-lift. Now I just have to wait 24 hours to use it - which may be harder than the wait was for the materials. There are a couple of small cosmetic things that they are going to fix, then it will be perfect.

The before and after says it all! So glad I worked with them on this project.

From start to finish and from top to bottom in the company Five Star Bath solutions were fantastic. The owner of the company, the VP of Sales, the installation coordinator and the installation crew were all just great ! Absolutely love the results ! Highly recommend Five Star Bath Solutions.

We are first time home owners and come into renovation projects with a lot of questions. These folks were extremely responsive, super thorough and walked us through everything we needed to know about getting our bathroom redone! Quick, high quality work and they are very attentive. We had a couple small snags that came up after the initial install and they were out right away to take care of them. Love the new tub and shower, and would definitely recommend working with them to folks we know! You can see how much brighter, bigger and just in general more modern the new construction looks!

The entire experience from the moment I booked a consult appointment through installation was great. The owner called to confirm my appointment, Alaina was knowledgeable and kind and she was a large part of the reason I went with this company. She was honest and real. Each person I worked with was professional and really took the time to make sure I was informed and part of the process. I am in love with my new shower/bath and am so happy I made the decision to improve my bathroom. It about a month from my consult to get everything completed and the quality of work they did shows. I could not be happier with the team at Five Star Bath Solutions and my new shower/tub.

Third time's the charm! After getting an exorbitant estimate from a competing bathroom company and then dealing with an independent contractor who would not measure, help me order fixtures, guarantee what I ordered would fit, or give me any idea what he would charge, I contacted Five Star. From the minute Jennifer walked in the door, things went well. She listened to what I wanted, what I had dealt with, and what my budget was. She helped me decide what I should order myself to save money, but guaranteed that they would install everything, and when they left, the bathroom would be complete. Two weeks later I had my pre-construction meeting with Blaine, who did final measurements, gave me some finishing details, and finalized my choices. 4 weeks later at 7:30 AM, Wayne, Brennan, and the plumber showed up and got to work. By 3:00, I had a new bathroom!! They cleaned up everything, loaded up all the debris, even the cardboard boxes of the vanity and toilet, which I had purchased from elsewhere. The only thing left for me to do was to caulk some seams in the bead board. I had purchased the beadboard and chair rail myself, but didn't think to purchase paintable caulk. Wayne absolutely would have caulked for me but he didn't have paintable. I would not hesitate recommending them or using them again for another bathroom in my home.

The process went very well from start to finish. The team had excellent communication with us and everyone was very easy to work with and professional. They were thorough and answered all of our questions. We were very pleased with the workmanship. The shower finish and materials met our expectations and it was finished in less time than anticipated. We highly recommend Five Star Bath Solutions of Minneapolis.

Crew arrived on time and did the install pretty quickly. The result is a dramatic improvement over the '90s era tub that the shower replaces, and gives us excellent freedom of movement. I cannot give five stars, however, because the installation crew closed up the wet wall before the shower supply lines had their rough-in inspection, and because the drain failed inspection because the plumber installed the P-trap 45 degrees off plumb, and when I asked him when he would correct it, the answer was "it'll be tomorrow because my tools are at another job." So we were chained to the house the following morning waiting for him to correct it.

We had a positive experience from the sales to installation. On the day of installation, our tub to shower conversion was completed within 7 hours. Excellent communication from start to finish. We contacted them to see if they could increase the water pressure in the shower head, and someone was out to check it that very same day, removing a filter that restricted the water flow. I would highly recommend them!!

From start to finish this is the best bath fitter in metro area. Communication, follow up communication until the start of the project. Couldnt believe how hard one man worked, the plumber new his stuff and the city inspector showed up before they were completed. Oh you might get a slightly less bid, but dont be fooled, Five Star Bath Solutions bid includes the higher end wallboard, seamless and built in options the others will want you to pay for. So happy with the job, I would recommend at the least get one more bid and get it from them.

Love the shower remodel. Very polite and friendly service. There was a spot on my shower that unfortunately wasn’t able to get fixed, but it was very small and hard to see. Alaina was amazing in helping me come up with the design. Peter the project manager was helpful. And Wayne the construction lead was impressive. I absolutely love my shower!

It was a pretty good project! The crew that came to put in the shower were wonderful! They made me feel comfortable and safe.(I was home alone) the only problem we had was with the very first person that came to meet us. There were a couple of miscommunications we had with them. Before the project was finished, people would call us back immediately which was really nice. But, since the project has been completed I have had some questions and have been told they would get back to me within a day, that didn’t happen. I like my new shower a lot and I was thankful to the team that did the job, they did a great job!

Mick, Ken and Tom all did a terrific job redoing our master and additional bathrooms. The experience was first rate, from option selection through removal of existing fixtures and installation of new selections. We were kept informed through the process, and the contractors were friendly and prompt. Highly recommended!!
