Dave and crew expertly built a sturdy and attractive retaining wall on an area of our property where we had a steep hill with significant erosion. The work was completed neatly and efficiently. We are so pleased with the result. The "before" and "after" photos say it all!

From the start, David and Boulder Creations knew exactly what needed to be done on my new retaining well. The project was done exceptionally well, and on time and on budget. I wouldn't hesitate to use Boulder Creations for any future project.

We have had Dave and his team work on several projects at our home. We have had patio, boulder wall, and outcropping work. All were completed in a timely manner. We have always been pleased with the results and will use him again in the future.

Dave and his team did an incredible job with our lakefront patio/retaining wall on Lake Minnetonka. He took a very sad 1950's cinderblock wall with gravel seating area and turned it into a very inviting, yet private, boulder retaining wall with a spacious flagstone patio with two sets of granite steps (his idea). The project turned out perfectly! He was great to work with, excellent communication throughout, and always ready to answer any questions we had. One of the best contractors I've ever had the pleasure of working with!

Had a timber wall replaced, block wall replace, and a piece of drain tile relayed. Dave and Rob did a great job on all projects. Very pleasant to work with. Communication was wonderful and quality of work top notch. Looking forward to next spring when they replace the block wall on the other side of the house.

Dave and Rob did a great job on our backyard upgrade. Went from crumbling block retaining walls and weeds to amazing boulder walls and fire pit area. They are both very nice and easy to communicate with, helped with ideas and design, and addressed every concern/question along the way. The boulders he used were large and very cool looking. We are happy to work with them and would do it again on future projects.

Dave and Rob were great! We had a small space to work with and an idea that they truly were able to bring to life. Our new outdoor space is the focal point of our family life and the neighborhood. The stadium seating and patio are absolutely amazing, we couldn't have asked for better and will continue to use this area to host family and friends for years to come. This team of craftsmen are amazing. We had a crumbling cinder block retaining wall and fence. We discussed options with Dave and Rob. Best decision because we ended up with a beautiful boulder rock wall.

Dave and crew performed miracles with the front of my house. I had several old bushes that he replaced with a beautiful flagstone patio. His work exceeded my expectations and he is extremely timely and professional. I highly recommend his work.

Dave and Rob turned bedraggled into eye-catching after part of my old flagstone wall came down in a recent deluge. Dave cleared the rubble blocking my driveway in record time and we reviewed a previous estimate, ending the day with a handshake agreement. Attention to detail and high-quality work gave me an outcome that went beyond my expectations.

We contracted Dave to rebuild a long retaining wall at our home that entailed multiple stages. From the onset, Dave was extremely easy to work with starting with assessing the project, providing a quote, and recommending other companies to complete the other portions of the total project (i.e., asphalt company, fencing company). At every step of the way, Dave was an excellent communicator promptly answering all of our questions on this big project. When the time came for the actual work to begin, Dave and his partner Rob always arrived when they said they would, and would clean up the site each day so we could park our cars. It was clear that they would take their time and make sure the project was done correctly. We have the highest recommendations for Dave Durkin as an expert wall builder (we had gotten a referral for him originally from a supply company who told us he was the best) as well as an excellent communicator with us at every stage of the project.

Excellent job
First had retaining wall replaced. Liked the work and had Dave and crew install Boulder retaining wall and landscape garden. The photos are after a few years and you can see the work has held up well. I would not hesitate using them again.

I tried to use them. I was in contact with Nate but after getting an initial email from him I never heard back. Ten days later and it's crickets. Business must be good.

These guys are awesome!! They do consistent, quality work and always charge a fair price!

I got to my shop this morning and the snow is plowed and piled professionally, the walls are all shoveled, and there is salt down on the slippery areas. I’m completely impressed.

Did I mention that they also mow and trim my lawn in the summer months...it’s so cool coming home after a long day of work to a striped yard and having all the walks, deck, and patio grass-free!

I can’t recommend Nate and Mike enough in one review, but take my word for it...they’re top notch!
