Tree reviews in Wayzata, Minnesota

The Ostvig Tree Care team was fantastic and went above and beyond my expectations for service. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone seeking a crew who provides professional tree care services, with solid communication throughout the process and clean up all evidence of work performed.

Have been using Ostvig for many years to treat our Ash trees and complete maintenance on our trees. They are easy to work with and go the extra distance to take care of all the small things that make the job a success.

We have used Ostvig Tree Care several times to have trees and stumps removed, and each time we have been very pleased with their service! Their teams are professional, courteous, fast, and always do a Great Job! And they always leave the yard cleaned up, and take great care to watch out for other trees/bushes in the yard. I can't say enough good things about Ostvig. They're AWESOME!

We had a large dead tree taken down with stump grinding and several other trees trimmed. The cost was reasonable, the crew were professional and courteous. Monte, Tony and Sam all did a great job. I definitely recommend their work and I will be delighted to work with them in the future.

Excellent crew. Very polite. Very skilled. They came in with top of the line equipment and operators and got a very large tree that was nested between houses and power lines like it was a breeze. I requested to keep wood and to have the stump table top height and all expectations were met above and beyond. Highly recommend!

Our experience with everyone at Ostvig has been outstanding. Very communicative, responds quickly, arrives when they say they will, work is efficient & cleanly done. I would highly recommend this company. Had them out twice in the fall 2025 times help trim our overgrown trees and remove one dying tree and another unsightly tree.

They did a wonderful job on a very large tree close to the front of my house. Professional crew great clean up. I would highly recommend.

We had Ostvig remove 2 trees right after Christmas. We have been using Ostivg for a couple of years now on the recommendation of a friend. They know what they are doing, send enough crew to finish the job properly, they are respectful of our property and the neighboring properties. The cost is fair and when you call, they are very responsive, they usually get back to you the same day. I highly recommend Ostvig Tree Care.

Always professional...timely and excellent work! Have used them for years.

Very clear estimates that they stick to and are very easy on the lawn.

They did an excellent job very professional and did great
cleanup...

Amazing job by Matt and Team. Had a big tree fall in wind storm, and Matt and guys' made quick work of removal. Also helped removed a few other trees. I have used a lot of tree services in the past and Scanlon was by far the best experience and prices were very fair. I will definitely use them again for ALL future tree needs.

We have used other tree services and Scanlon is by far the most skilled and professional. Although their pricing is similar to others, their quality is much higher and a better value overall. My husband and I never imagined how much better our property would look with proper tree trimming. I have complete confidence in their recommendations and experience.

I’ve had Scanlon do work for me a couple times. They do an incredible job and are priced fairly.

I would recommend Scanlon to anyone in need of trimming and tree removal.

Scanlon was clearing a tree from my neighbors yard/house after a storm and I wandered over to ask for a quote and could not be more happy with the cost and the service! They were friendly, professional and did a great job clearing two trees - one over the roof of my home and the other growing against my garage. They made it look so easy and they cleaned up so well it's hard to tell that tree work had been done. I highly recommend Matt and company for any work you need done. Very quick and efficient.
