Tracie performed an inspection in July of 2020. While thorough in his explanation of MOST issues with the home (which the seller addressed for us) the wording used was very evasive. After four months of living in the home, the flooring needed 11k in repairs. When addressing the concern with Tracie, he used words he never used in the report such as “wood rot”. After having a calm conversation and explaining my frustrations, several points Tracie would interrupt my sentence and proceed to laugh at the conversation. When I pointed out that I didn’t appreciate the laughter, he and I quote said “I’m not laughing at the matter, I’m laughing at you not understanding what I’m saying”. Laughing at anyone seeking to understand isn’t ok. I do not suggest using Tracie as your home inspector. Any follow up is met with arrogance and inability to acknowledge fault.

Mr. Echols gave our house a thorough and comprehensive inspection with clear photos and helpful advice. I don't think we could have done any better with any other inspector.
