I wasn’t sure what to expect as it was my first time to use The Maids. The team that came to my house was awesome. They did an excellent cleaning, efficient, timely and pleasant. Will definitely book The Maids again.

The ladies sent to clean my home were friendly, courteous, very professional and hard working. The job they did was most excellent, and I intend to use their services a lot more in the future.

We purchased a home and the sellers paid to have it professionally cleaned. Terrible charged $433.00 to clean an empty house, they left floors nasty, window seals nasty, shower nasty. Awful job would not recommend using them.

Linda and the yellow team always do an excellent job. We really liked the new guy who joined them recently, too. Thank you for a job well done and for being responsive to the little requests we occasionally make! TR😊

Team Winter that came out did an excellent job cleaning my home for Thanksgiving! So thankful they fit me in before company arrives.

My husband and I both have medical issues which is why we hired the maids, because it's just gotten to difficult to maintain our home. In the very beginning they were AMAZING.... now, NOT SO MUCH!
I have found that I have to CONSTANTLY go behind the team like children making sure they do everything they are supposed to do & I'm not happy with that. I've voice my concerns to 2 supervisors and 1 had to come out and do a room because they NEVER TOUCHED IT!!
I'VE GIVEN THEM CHANCES FOR THE LAST 3 MONTHS....... BUT NO MORE!!! I'm BEYOND FRUSTRATED!!!! So this will be my LAST service with the maids! I'm paying to much money every month to bave to go behind them. The previous company did a MUCH BETTER JOB and though their prices were higher and least I was COMPLETELY SATISFIED......I guess it's true, you really do get what you pay for!

The three-women crew who performed my first home cleaning were friendly, expedient, and extremely thorough. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for cleaning services within the Gluckstadt/Madison area.

I called and spoke to nice guy on the phone to discuss estimates on having my rental property cleaned before I put it on the market. I described the property and service I wanted to be completed and he quoted me a price of $265 - $305 (2BR/2BA, 1100 sqft). The property is empty and in great shape, I just wanted all the dust cleaned and freshened up for a new tenant. I was told I had to provide a CC# prior to service, and I did. My service was scheduled to take place between 12:30 & 2:30 four days later - and I was fine with that, but requested that I be given a call when they were on their way, so I could drive over and unlock the door (less than 1/4 mile away; basically across the street).

At 3:21 day of the appointment (an hour late), I missed two phone calls from an unknown number (no voicemail) and 3:26 I missed three phone calls from an unknown number. The next time I looked at my phone and noticed all the missed calls was 3:29. I called back the most recent number and was told that no one was able to reach me (3 min. later). I apologized and was told the cleaners would be routed to the house.
After I hung up the phone, I received a voicemail notification and when I listened to the recording it was the same guy I had just spoken with - the voicemail was "....I am sorry we couldn't come by to clean today we were unable to reach you by phone or text and we tried numerous times please call me as soon as you can to reschedule this service thank you".
*Keep in mind that all of this has taken place within 8 minutes*
After hearing this voicemail, I just couldn't take it...I called back and cancelled the service!
It is completely absurd for a company to be an hour late for an appointment, then try to blame the customer for missing a phone call. For Pete's sake! Give me a moment to call you back! Three minutes was apparently way too long for them, but it's acceptable for them to be over an hour late. Now I wait to see if they are going to charge me a cancellation fee.
Do not use this company. They are more expensive than their competition, cannot adhere to a schedule, and are managed poorly.

I would not recommend them. I called and hired them to come clean because we were moving in after buying a house. I asked whoever I spoke on the phone to do a deep clean, and asked if they would clean cabinets and all surfaces of the house, oven and etc, and they said as I quote: “ we will clean top to bottom, and touch all surfaces in the house.” Well, when I got there a few hours after the service was finished and went to check on my new house and ready to move in, and I was not happy. The oven was disgusting, it had not even been touched on the inside or outside, they didn’t even clean on top of it. The cabinets were not clean in the kitchen, the master bedroom was not even touched, I took pictures of all so I could have it for the record. The cabinets in the bathroom had hair in them and were completely dirty. I don’t even know if they cleaned anything but mop my living room. I called them the next day early in the morning and told them what was not done, and asked what was going on and he said well he was going to send another team to come clean.
( he even told me they were going to clean all the windows, but at this point I just wanted my kitchen to be completely clean and my bathrooms)
He sent another team, and they were very nice and sweet people, the Field manager came as well, and my husband told her about the cabinets and all that needed to be done, and I told her to do a walk-through to make sure service was gonna be done as it should because we were paying very expensive for it. And I stayed in the house to watch them do it, I saw them cleaning some cabinets in the kitchen, so I assume It was going to be done. The next day I had a friend coming over to help me unpack and get my stuff in the cabinets. As soon as I open the cabinets the old owners liners were still there, there was roach poop on the top of the cabinets. Gross. Instead of unpacking and getting ready for my new house I spent the weekend cleaning before I could put my stuff in. I’m Unhappy. I called them Monday after I had finished cleaning the house and they told me they could not do anything but send another team. At the point I was done.

I told him we had a newborn baby and would prefer to pay someone to clean so I didn’t have to. But I ended up having to clean anyways.
I could not trust that they have wipe down any of the cabinets inside the house, so I had to do it myself, and I ended up cleaning the bathrooms again because I could not trust that they had to cleaned it. We paid $298 for it. Not only that we had to buy more cleaning supplies to finish cleaning the house.

Used this service for moving out deep cleaning. We had house completely empty and already clean but needed a few touch ups to knock out closing contingencies. There was no difference in when they arrived and when they left. We asked for refund and the company refused to provide refund but that they would come out to finish. However, this is not possible due to closing deadline. I would strongly recommend against using this company. The pictures included in this review were taken AFTER they “finished”.

Such a great experience with the Maids cleaning service, it makes you clean up for them to come but then the whole house is clean until the next time they come !! Love The Maids

Jennifer & Team Christmas did a good job on a basic cleaning! They were all so kind and professional, and easily worked around my husband and I as we both work from home.

We work from home, so we see the job they do firsthand. They come in, get right to work, and clean things up well and thoroughly. The Team is pleasant, professional, and they are even nice to our dogs. We have used other services and would recommend The Maids.

I had my house deep cleaned by The Maids. Four awesome women (Hanna, Key, Madison, and Jessika) performed an outstanding job in record time. I will certainly be using The Maids for future cleaning services and will ask for these professional women to return. They earned gold stars all around!

If I could leave zero stars, I would. My husband and I booked a moving cleaning. The Maids gave us an estimate of $215-$260 based on the size of our house and our needs. We were told we would be called if the price would need to be increased if more time is required for our approval. On the day of our cleaning, they told us they would be there in the afternoon but came early in the morning, so we had to rush and figure out someone to come let them in the house. On their arrival, they wrote $216 on our receipt before cleaning. MUCH to our surprise when we get home, the $216 was scratched out and we had been charged more than double the estimate at $480. As we walked around and inspected the house, we saw much to be desired ESPECIALLY for that price. We have two closets that look like the door wasn’t even opened, floors totally unvacuumed. Our light fixture above the dining table had a thick layer of dust. Along with MANY other details that were missed. Overall, the house looked better than before, however, for the price I expect more. We called the company to discuss this high charge and were basically told that this was the price and it was correct and that he would send someone back if we wanted but did not offer any further itemized descriptions of what justices these charges. I would not recommend this service to any of my friends or family.

It is amazing to see these ladies come into my home and get right to work! They are very courteous and polite. They work quickly, efficiently and thoroughly. When they leave my home is sparkling! I’ve never been happier with any cleaning team than I am with Merry Maids.i highly and confidently recommend them.

My sister-in-law had been in the hospital and we wanted her to come home to a clean apartment. When she walked in the door, she noted how clean the apartment was. Mission accomplished!!!

The cleaning associates were so pleasant. I throughly enjoyed walking into a clean and fresh smelling home, I will definitely be using them again in the near future.

These professionals are the best!! I had what seemed to be an impossible task and they tackled it with skill and ease. It was obvious that they had a plan they didn't waste a second of my time. Thanks so much for all you did. I will definitely continue using this service!
