They are extremely professional and great at what they do. We’ve had a huge Magnolia that hovers over our house since we moved here roughly 20+ yrs ago. Every once in a while we would get a fallen branch and debris after a storm but we loved the shade it provided. We finally decided to get rid of it after the last storm caused significant damage to our roof. However, we were nervous b/c it is so close to our house. A-1 had all the correct equipment to remove it without causing any damage to our house. It looks like the tree was never there. I highly recommend them!

I had 4 dead pine trees that were very close to my house. Silas and his crew removed the trees without incident. They were very professional and efficient. They cleaned up exceptionally well. I would recommend them to anyone.

Silas and his team came and cut a large oak tree down and ground down the stump. They did a great job. They had to have someone to remove my fence so the equipment would be able to get in the back yard. When they finished they up everything all the tree and branches were gone, then they put the fence back up. I will be using them again for my other tree. Thank you!!

Worth every penny, best show in town! Had four very tall, 110ft pine trees removed. They were extremely professional, I would definitely use them again!

Corey was extremely professional and on time. When they cut the tree down it actually fell over and busted out in ground waterline. Corey immediately called me to let me j ow and then had a crew at my house to fix the line before I even got home from work.

I will use Corey and his tree service again in the future. And I can absolutely encourage anyone needn’t tree or lawn service to give him a call. Very fair pricing and excellent professional service.

God sent this company that was out of Jackson, MS to Yazoo City. They truly was sent by God, because after his estimate, I express to him another option, to do a small portion of the tree, and he said no. How about this option. He suggested his option, I would never ask someone to limit there cost for my convenience. Because business is business. He trusted me, and worked with me. He didn't know me, and I didn't  know him, but God knew both of our hearts. And I am talking the most perfectional company, equip with everything that was needed,  top dollar equipment. These guys were great from the get go. We’ve had some crazy storms come though the area this spring and I wanted to make sure no trees of limbs fell onto our home.

Silas and his guys knew exactly what we needed to have done and did so extremely quickly and efficiently. Our yard looks so much better and the peace of mind I know I will have the next time bad weather is forecasted is well worth the price which was extremely fair.

We have more work we’d like done and will be using A1 for it as well. Couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

So glad I found this company! In June 2023, Jackson, MS. area had a couple of bad storms come thru and WAPT were covering the storm damage. They showed A-1 Discount Tree Service working. I knew then that's who I wanted to cut down my storm damaged tree and a large River Birch tree. So glad I did...love Silas Jr. and Silas Sr. With having a lot of workers and their first-rate equipment, it didn't take long to cut both trees down and tree stump grinding. I highly recommend this company!

Great customer service! Called Thursday to set up a quote to remove a dead tree out of my backyard. They were able to squeeze me in the same day for the quote. Worked with my budget and came out the next day and cut down the tree. Silas and Silas Jr. are two very kind men and I highly recommend their services.

Mr Silas responded the same day when called and I was given a very fair price for cutting down and removing three 100 foot pine trees. They actually did the work two days later. Cutdown, removed trees and cleaned up in less than 4 hours. Professional crew all around. Did AAA work.

Silas and his crew did a great job removing some large limbs over the house. They were on time with a large crew and first-rate equipment and got it done quickly and safely. A1 is a very professional operation at a reasonable price. I would be happy to use them again.

I cannot think of a more knowledgeable father-son duo when it comes to this area of work. I’ve contracted A-1 Discount Tree Services on two separate occasions and each time they exceeded my expectations. From the beginning to the end of the process, A-1 Discount were extremely professional, very responsive, and listened to my needs. On the most recent visit, they took down two trees from a neighboring property that were on the property line. Additionally, they removed two huge piles of wood from pine trees they took down a couple of years ago that I thought I was going to use but did not. They were able to successfully complete this project and clean up as if they were never here in less than four hours. I completely understand the reason for being name A-1 Discount Tree Services because their estimates were far more affordable than any other arborist and they educated me through the entire process. I highly recommend A-1 Discount Tree Services. These are the people you can trust for precision work.

This was the second time I have used this company to remove trees from my house. They not only do the job quickly and efficiently, they do an excellent job cleaning up and making the area look great before they leave. I will continue to call and recommend this company any chance I get.

Calling A-1 tree service was the BEST choice I could have made in remodeling my home there in Jackson. I had some companies who did not even want to work in the neighborhood where my home is located. They came out, did an excellent and professional job at a great price! I have many more trees to remove and A-1 will be the ONLY company I'll ever use.
