I had an excellent experience getting a new HVAC system from Jeff and his team at Crestside. From his first visit to project completion I was thoroughly impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail. I highly recommend Crestside for anyone needing their HVAC system repaired or replaced.

We purchased our hvac system from Crestside almost a decade ago. Didn't think to post a review til a man named Jason did a Spring maintenance check yesterday. They've been a great company to deal with, and Jason provided excellent service. He even showed me a video on his phone of how much pollen he removed from our outside unit. I'd highly recommend this company. We're also going to request Jason for our next service call.

I’ve been using Crestside Heating and Cooling for about 20 years now and they've always been reliable and friendly. They keep the same technicians which is comforting. Jason has been the technician completing my spring and fall service for the last couple of years and he has been great. He explains everything in detail before he leaves the house. I had to call them after hours a couple of times over the years and they arrive within the arrival time they gave me. It is good to know I can rely on them when I need their service.

I’ve been using Crestside for 20 years. Had AC and furnace installed plus once a year service. Great service and price. I like that Crestside is a family owned company. Heat went out in the middle of the night on coldest day of the year. Called at 6:30am and they had a tech out by 8:00am.

1/23/25 Update:
For some reason this winter our ductwork began making popping noises which was driving us a bit crazy. One call to Kevin at Crestside & he solved our problem. Met with him & for no cost, he provided me with some duct stiffeners called “S-Slips” and told me just how to install them. It was a simple process and once in place, our noisy duct problem was solved. Thanks Kevin!!

Crestside just installed both a condensate line pump and whole-house humidifier on our HVAC system. Their technician (Ryan) did an excellent job! His attention to detail was second to none. We had recently switched to Crestside after our other HVAC service provider was bought out by Classic Air. So far we’ve been very pleased with their work as well as their excellent customer service! Highly recommended small business!!

First rate service. I needed a complete HVAC system replacement.. Curtis and Ryan arrived right on schedule and went straight to work. They were very professional and courteous. They completed a first class Installation, cleaned up during and afterwards. I would recommend Crestside Ballwin 5 stars.

We were looking to replace our 20+ year old system with a newer, more efficient system and Jeff walked us through all the different options in detail to determine what is the best option. The Crestside team were in and out in a day removing and installing the new system. The team was professional and courteous and walked me through how to operate everything. The house is cooler than it has ever been and rooms that did not cool are cooled as well. I would and do recommend Crestside to anyone who asks.

Great company. Easy to work with. Jeff who is the owner came out to give us an estimate for a new HVAC system. He was knowledgeable and up front regarding everything. Pricing was fair with no hidden charges. Scheduling was quick and easy, we accepted the bid on Friday and installation was scheduled and completed on Monday. The technicians that showed up for install were polite and professional and experienced. They answered any questions we had during the process and explained everything necessary regarding the new system. Jeff (the owner) also showed up on the day of installation to make sure everything was going as it should and helped out the technicians with whatever they needed.

When our A/C went out in a heat wave, I called several companies and Crestside was able to send someone out same day and fixed our A/C! The tech was great and also gave great pointers for maintenance and keeping our system running well - super helpful for a first time homeowner.

Today the Crestside team arrived at 7 am to begin an extensive HVAC system enhancement. We had them add a Aprilaire home humidifier & enhanced air filtration, plus a germ killing device from Air Scrubber.

In addition we replaced our 18 year old AC unit with a high efficiency Lennox unit. Replacing all electrical and cooling equipment from unit to system in basement.

They then corrected any loose ducts in my 50 year old ranch. All the while demonstrating professionalism and a high attention to detail.

A Family Business That Truly Cares About Their Customers
We’ve been using Crestside Ballwin Heating & Cooling for many years and they’ve always been great to work with. Back in March, our 13-year-old furnace quit on a cold morning and there was a terrible smell coming from the vent. A serviceman came out that afternoon, found that the motor had failed, and one of the owners, Jeff Young, stopped by to help us choose a new furnace. Jeff was friendly, honest, and shared the company’s history — his dad started it, and now he and his sisters run it. You can really tell it’s a family business that cares about their customers.
Fast forward to this past weekend — while getting new windows installed, the workers said they smelled gas. I called Spire, and they confirmed we had gas leaks and had to shut off our gas. I called Crestside and left a message, then remembered Jeff had given me his number, so I called him directly. He answered right away and promised to have someone out within the hour. Before we even hung up, Mike from Crestside called to say he was on his way. He found and fixed the leaks quickly, and Jeff told him not to charge us for the repair. Later that night, Jeff had asked me checked in to make sure our gas was turned back on and that we had heat again so he could sleep better!
From furnace troubles to gas leaks, Crestside Ballwin Heating & Cooling has truly gone above and beyond for us. That kind of customer care is hard to find these days. Crestside has earned our trust and loyalty. They’re dependable, responsive, and genuinely kind people. We won’t call anyone else for our heating and cooling needs!

I never, ever write reviews, but the service I received from Crestside Ballwin was simply EXTRAORDINARY (5 stars does not nearly encapsulate it). And in a sea of service providers that, on the surface, look similar, I feel compelled to share my experience.

After receiving conflicting advice from three different service providers, it came to my attention that I had a cracked heat exchanger and that my furnace posed a safety hazard (one company said the heat exchanger was cracked during routine maintenance, then another company found no issues with the unit and the third company that I called out of abundance of caution for my family said the heat exchanger was cracked). The last company literally left my house on Friday afternoon telling me that I could not use my furnace, but provided no immediate solutions to get my heat safely back on in the near future (I indicated that I wanted to replace the heat exchanger, which was under warranty, but no one could tell me when that could happen…it had to go to another team, which had apparently already left for the weekend). I have a young family, so we had no heat over the cold winter weekend and I was not sure when the heat could be back on again…

By chance, on Saturday evening, I spoke to some family members that had positive experiences with Crestside Ballwin – Crestside Ballwin, who had been their service provider for years, had literally replaced their furnace weeks ago for nearly the price I was being quoted to replace my heat exchanger (again, which was under warranty). So, in a moment of desperation, I messaged the online chat for Crestside Ballwin at 8p on Saturday night, thinking I would just get an AI response…mostly asking if I should just replace the furnace, rather than replace the heat exchanger, given the cost. I’d say approximately 30 minutes to an hour later, I received a text message from Jeff, one of the owners. Assuming he could get the part, and assuming it was under warranty, he could get the heat back on quickly and for an amount that was a fraction of what I was being quoted by the two other companies that had diagnosed the issue. He told me he would have some answers by Monday morning at 9a. As promised, he contacted me Monday morning, and by 1:30p Monday afternoon, the new heat exchanger was installed, and my heat was back on!!!

As I said, the service I received from Crestside Ballwin was extraordinary, and as a young widow with a young family, I am truly grateful. Responsive. Honest. Compassionate. Helpful. I will never again go elsewhere for my AC/furnace services, and I will be recommending their services to anyone that asks.

Service call on my humidifier went as I had hoped. Timely (same day), knowledgeable and friendly technician, and very fair price for the repair. I’ve been happy with Crestside at every encounter and highly recommend them! It warms my heart to be able to trust a business to do the right thing on both a personal and professional level. Went to MSC this morning with a question for a problem I was trying to solve. They were extremely helpful in coming up with a solution and while they didn't have the product I needed, they got on the computer, found what I needed and directed me to Lowes which had what I needed. Purchased product and problem solved. I might add that I previously had gone to Lowes explaining my problem and they were of no help and said "we can't help you." Well done Milford.

I was there recently and bought a Moen adjustable tank lever. Tommy N. at the sales desk was so helpful. He explained how to install the part. Being a single homeowner, I appreciate his patience and knowledge. Thanks!
