My backyard had a 18’ x 35’ oval above ground pool that was removed 2 years ago and my yard was a disaster. I hired Shelton Landscaping in May 2021 to redo my backyard, including regrading my sloped yard, installation of a new patio, installation of edging, burying my drainage, and a fully sodded lawn. It was a huge project and it was difficult to find a contractor who could handle everything. Although they were booked solid until August, it was well worth the wait. Amanda and her crew worked hard in 100 degree weather during the install. She was responsive and helped me stay within my budget so that I could get everything done that I needed. The crew was professional. They always cleaned up after each work day and left the job site on the final day in great condition. I am extremely pleased and very happy with the final results. After looking at a disaster for 2 years, I love my new backyard. So do my dogs. I still have future landscaping that is needed and I will only call Shelton Landscaping. My experience was positive from the initial meeting with Amanda to the final day of the project. Thank you so much Shelton Landscaping for turning my disaster into a beautiful backyard.

Clay Deschler designed a complete backyard configuration to accommodate our new pool. The Shelton crew did an amazing job making that design a highly functional and beautiful addition to our home. They began and finished the project on time and were a real pleasure to work with. We would certainly recommend their services without any hesitation.

Shelton put in a paver patio for us around 10 years ago. They did a tremendous job from start to finish. There were minor issues two times in the last ten years that I reached out to Clay about. I was looking for a bid for the minor repairs since they were related more to the freeze /thaw cycle, yet Clay sent his crew out to repair the sinking pavers and steps and did not charge me. That’s a company who stands behind their work, and I recommend them highly.

We have done many projects with Clay and the Shelton team. This includes major projects such as landscaping, deck, patio, extensive lighting and an outdoor kitchen as well as maintenance such a spring clean up and mulch. They helped design and implement landscaping for our back yard, including a big hill that had serious erosion issues, installed a drain and replaced our deck with a large patio. I have used Shelton Landscaping & Maintenance twice now. Owner Clay has personally come out to look over the work, make suggestions, and given me the estimates.
His men do great work and are efficient. They clean up and leave your yard looking great. I will certainly use them again the next time I need landscaping of any kind done.

We worked with the team on a large project of all new landscaping, a water feature update, and significant cleanup of overgrown landscaping. Clay Deschler and his team have done several jobs for us and have always gone above and beyond (and at a fair price)! I have never had an issue with them following through on what they agree to and am usually surprised at the small details that they think about. I am also a first time Shelton customer. I worked with Ryan and from the beginning he was nothing but professional; showing up on time and following through with estimates as promised. I can also say the same for his crew. They were respectful and timely as well. They also worked incredibly hard and the finished project was exactly what I had imagined! It looks fabulous! My fire pit area was 22 years old and the yard surrounding it was in a mess! It’s beautiful now! I will post pictures later today after my lawn is mowed

I have a hill in the woods behind my house. When we would get a heavy rain, my mulch ended up in my yard. Ryan suggested raising the area so it would be flat and build a short wall. We had over 3 inches of rain a couple of days ago and it worked like a charm. His employees did a beautiful job and were very courteous. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Very nice job. Ryan and his team did our back patio and front/back landscape. We love the design and plants they recommended. We're excited to use the patio this summer an see how the plants bloom.

Shelton Landscape was the 2nd estimate for our wall project. We met with Clay, who was extremely knowledgeable. He asked if we had thought of using the natural stone from our property. We were THRILLED by that idea! His crew was very thorough & courteous. We would recommend them highly.

This was the second time we hired Shelton to do some landscaping for us and the whole experience was amazing again! We invited Scott out to our new home to create a plan to update the landscaping and grade the yard - and he graciously agreed and genuinely appreciated the opportunity. We, again like the last time, immediately felt comfortable with his bid and ideas and hired him to do the job. The project was started on a Monday and it only took 3 days to complete the work! Everything from grading the yard to building retaining walls, laying over 1000 square feet of sod to planting bushes, and laying tons of rock... Everything was discussed up-front and was included in the bid - no surprises or "making it up as it goes" situations and it was smoothly orchestrated. We even got a refund on some of the material that wasn't used. I have never seen laborers work as hard as Scott's crew and to take the personal pride and enjoyment in their work. And we appreciated that Scott brought out a crew that worked so well together. Those are some of the details that made us feel that we got a heck of a deal! It was an honor to work with Scott and his employees again and we are extremely blessed to have hired Shelton Landscaping. Our whole yard has been completely transformed and opened up. We are so impressed and excited to have hired Shelton, we are going to have him bid some landscape lighting to showcase his masterpiece and get a few trees trimmed too soon! We have definitely found our go-to landscape partner :)

I used Shelton to do the initial landscaping for my new home 3 years ago in both the front and back of my home. This included not only stonework in the front but transforming my dirt bark yard into a garden. They did everything from grading the yard, putting in boulders, a dry creek bed, pavers to enlarge the patio, flagstone pathways and built stone raised bed and back steps. I've continued to use them these past couple of years as I've expanded my garden areas. I've attached some photos. I recommend them for any size project. Love their work!!

Shelton Landscaping is an excellent company. They came out and I explained what I had in mind for a paved walkway from my driveway to the back deck and what they provided was above and beyond what I had envisioned. Great quality work completed per their timeframe which was listed in the bid. I had mentioned that I love rocks especially the huge ones used in landscaping. Amanda, remembered that and incorporated them into the project and I was blown away with the results. We will use Shelton Landscaping for any additional projects we have in the future.
