On May 8, 2025, Tom F. was the excellent Technician from the Appliance Care Company who came to clean our dryer vent and also inside our Speed Queen dryer that we purchased from them about 5 years ago. Tom spent an hour meticulously cleaning our dryer vent and inside the dryer. He removed a lot of lint with the cleaning. Tom was very professional and courteous, as well as answering all my questions. Thank you, Tom! I will definitely continue to use this company.

We had a great experience with this company. Mason was our person who came to see a battery repair on an LG refrigerator upon looking at it. He determined that the repair of the freezer would be much greater than the value of the refrigerator we had. He was very curious and thorough and explained everything. We would recommend this company to anyone looking for appliance repair. We used the location in Belton and were very pleased with them.

When my washing machine stopped working, my brother recommended The Appliance Care Company because he listens to them on the Toby Tobin show and knew they're the best. Tom came out and diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly. There was also an issue with my dryer that he diagnosed so he ordered the part and was able to fix it within a couple of days of the diagnosis. He was knowledgeable, courteous, and reliable - I highly recommend them and will always call them for future repair needs!

We had this company repair a dryer for us in December 2024. It caught fire 8 months later. Had GE out as if was only a 2 year old dryer, now with 2 issues, including a fire and I thought was was due to defective manufacturing. GE pointed out the place where this company "repaired" a wire by splicing two together which is where the fire started. They confirmed that is not an authorized way to repair the issue and should not have been done. I called the company, thinking maybe a rogue tech wasn't following protocol. Service Manger said that was an ok way to do a repair and stood by his repairman's work....clearly not an ok repair as it resulted in a fire. Strongly suggest not using this company so you do not have have the same result.

Company response below is not truthful. The wire failed in two different spots. The first was near an opening in the shield that allows too much heat near the wires, and is a common failure. This second failure was at the site of the splice, not near an opening in the shield. I was not offered two options and the one repair that GE recommends for this repair is replacing the whole wire with a thicker wire. They do not recommend this splicing solution.

Everyone I spoke with was very helpful. From scheduling the appointment, to the technician that performed the work. Very courteous and explained what the problem was. I will use them again.

The Appliance Care Company came highly recommended for a company to call for appliance repair. Tyler came out to our house and very quickly assessed the problem on our dryer. He was extremely knowledgeable and courteous. He explained the problem and gave us a few options for our dryer repair. We would most definitely call them again for any repair on an appliance. It’s comforting to know that an honest, reliable, and professional company is readily available with a quick phone call!

I had a unique issue with my dishwasher. I called and told them clearly what the issue was, and asked if they do this type of work. They said yes and it would be $150 to diagnose the repair. When the service technician came out, he immediately said he can't fix that type of problem. I reluctantly paid him, but I don't think I should owe anything because I clearly told them up front what the issue was. I offered to split the $150 fee 50/50 to cover their cost because it was probably an honest misunderstanding. I felt it was a reasonable offer, plus I'm a repeat customer. The manager said no. He said they would only offer a small discount towards future services. I won't be using their services again however, because I believe this is a greedy way of doing business.

Had a leak with our dishwasher Mason came and changed the seal and explain what happened he was very knowledgeable. Would call Appliance Company again. Thank you

Tyler alerted me when he was on his way and arrived in the time he stated. He was very nice and explained everything that was going on with my washer. I felt really comfortable him and he knows his job well. Has great communication skills with his customers. I would request him and the company again.

So nice and thorough, even taught me a few things on keeping my dryer lint under control. I will use them for all my appliance repairs.

Tom my service guy was amazing. Tom was able to problem solve my oven within 5 minutes and had the part in his truck. Total time from problem solving to fixed oven was an hour. The oven has never worked so well. Tom was the ultimate professional and will always ask for him in the future.

The technician, Thomas, was very courteous, and knowledgeable. Appliance Care is now our go to repair company.

It was a positive experience. However. I had hoped to have an appointment Friday and had to wait over the weekend with my appliance non-working. Once the repairman was scheduled it went well. He was efficient, polite and thorough. I was pleased with his work.

Scheduled for service on my microwave and washer. Tech showed up on time and I was pleased with our interaction. Unfortunately he informed me the washer pump was not working and the washer no longer had the sticker with serial and model number so he could not order a replacement pump and even if he could the part would be $300. So he recommended I purchase a new machine. Also mentioned multiple times that they sold new and used washers. Based on his recommendation I went out and purchased a new washer. A few days later while looking at my old washer, I found the sticker with the model and serial number. Looked up the part. It would cost $80 to purchase a brand new pump from the manufacturer. I called the appliance care company and asked for a refund as the tech did not give me accurate information and could not even find the sticker on the side of the machine causing me to doubt his competence and expertise. The lady I spoke with put me on hold multiple times, then told me a manager would call me, but that really I didn't have a case for a refund since the tech showed up and diagnosed the problem. She told me a manager would call me that same day and then hung up on me. It has been a week and I received no call back. I paid $100 for bad information, I made financial decisions based on that information and my trust in the professional expertise of this company. I'm truly disappointed with the level of support and service received and feel robbed of both my time and money. I am attaching photo proof of the receipt which states no model number and the machine with the sticker. I would not recommend this company.

**EDIT** I received a call from the company today saying they saw my review and offering me a 50% refund to remove my review. I only spoke with the lady who answered the phone in my initial interaction, unless they have a manager answering the phones I did not speak to a manager until today when I received a call from a manager offering me a partial refund but only because they want me to remove my review. Not cool. I am willing to donate my money to the cause of people knowing the truth about this company. Check out their yelp reviews. I wish I had.
