Home Services reviews in Eureka, Missouri

I went in there yesterday. I was in and out in a few minutes. The employees were pleasant, welcoming, honest. They paid me for items even after II told them that I wasn't even sure they'd take them.

These guys that work there are rip-off artists. I took two adult aluminum swingsets with the bench swings in totally clean and neatly cut up with some smaller pieces of aluminum. The guy at the register removed four pieces of aluminum before weigh-in. After weigh-in, guy at scale tells me 13.4 lbs and offers me $1.35. Total liars and especially toward women. Go somewhere else for recycling. These guys are total losers.

Got $12.25 for 4 buckets of crushed cans and an old push lawn mower ~ i believe price for cans is per pound?
They are also apparently now solar powered which is cool :D
My friend says this location has the best aluminum can exchange rates in the area
Definitely check it out
They also had a cool arcade claw machine for $10 if ur looking for a cool thrift find! They have bikes, chairs, and some other random finds -
I have used Goldilocks Solutions for three moves and Christmas decorations and have been blown away by their customer service each and. every time! They're the best at taking stress out of stressful situations. I would highly recommend!

Bad experience with this company, specifically Pam. Originally had no complaints, but Pam was extremely unprofessional when she was caught in a misunderstanding about items that were not supposed to be taken from our family home. When she was confronted by me and asked to take responsibility for this mistake as it caused a rift between family members, she refused, did not apologize, proceeded to belittle me in my understandings of policies (which I was well aware of the policies she was referring but she again was trying to find all avenues to put blame on me) told other family members incorrect information, told me I was hard to deal with and told me to leave a bad review of her if I felt I needed to. So here I am, leaving a bad review. Recommend finding a company with honest people.
Official response from representative 21.04.2024 18:27Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. While it is our understanding that our client, the trustee, is very happy with the outcome of our work and in particular with Pam’s service, your individual experience is very important also. Goldilocks considers complaints and dissatisfaction an opportunity to examine procedures as well as the details of the particular project. A genuine apology should carry information on how the complaint was handled. We are sorry we did not s… -
These folks are always friendly and helpful. They take a wider variety of items than anywhere else I know of. They pay for some things, like aluminum. and charge for others, like an old TV that no longer worked. and leftover latex paint. They accept donations to a small resell it shop for small items which they think they will be able to sell. They have to make a living some way. I'm glad to have a place to take al lot of my discards including hazardous waste. Perhaps we will be able to inhabit this earth just a bit longer.

They're great! When they charge for things, it's because they have to pay employees to take care of what you drop off. There are fees anywhere for recycling items with hazmats in them, like chemicals and microwaves and TVs. also, if you buy from their resale shop, why would you expect any service beyond the point of sale? buying anything from any resale shop is always "buyer beware". You buy it, it's yours. end of story. Earthbound does not offer "warranties" on anything, so the review saying the person paid for a warranty on whote paint is very suspicious.

Goldilocks was fabulous (and so kind) with my parents as they downsized into Senior Independent Living. They handled all the items which were left behind with grace.
I highly recommend Goldilocks to ANY family helping their parents to downsize after living in their own home, especially if the parents have lived there for more than 10-15 years. -
This place ripped me off! They sold me what they said was white paint and charged me $20.00 for some warranty. They gave me my refund for the grey and brown paint but refused to give me back my $20.00 for what they said was a warranty, a warranty for what I will never know! As it was I had to drive almost 70 miles to return the paint! The employees are not nice, in fact they are very rude. To them they are always right, not the customer! They sell junk and old paint nobody wants, a useless business!

Pulling in, a sign informs you they take almost anything. This is the place where one man's trash and another man's treasure can be sorted out. The resale store is where they put out anything still useable, giving many items a last chance to be owned. You can find stuff that thrift stores refuse like chemicals, paint, and construction materials. I've always found the staff to be friendly. Whether you drop off, pick up, or a little of both- the process is super easy.

We called Tom at Signature to replace a path from our gate to our patio. Initially we had stepping stones, but they shifted and were uncomfortable to walk on. Tom went with us to pick out the stone, then built us a beautiful pathway, expertly designed and installed with care. The design required a lot of the stones to be cut, but even with the large number of cuts required, the path was installed in about 3 days. His team really worked hard to ensure the design came to life. We also had Signature install sod in the back yard (which our dog had destroyed). The guys cut out the old sod, created the perfectly graded base and fertilized for success. We couldn't be happier with the end result. Tom is patient and willing to adapt to the customer's needs and landscaping conditions in the yard. Highly recommended.

I have used their services as I believe in what they are doing to help the planet but that has come to an end. My daughter went there for an interview and was told she did not look normal enough. Please explain to me what does normal look like and who is this man to judge my daughter. As you guessed my daughter has tattoos and piercings but she showed up for the interview in dress slacks and a blouse. She is currently employed as an assistant manager, which is the position she was being interviewed for at Earthbound. The interviewer told her she looked trashy and that it is acceptable for a man to have tattoos on their arms but not a woman. I call this discrimination against woman and those who have tattoos.
The man never even interviewed her, so he judged her based on only her appearance and not her abilities. The adage to not judge a book by its cover still applies today. The man was rude, hurtful and judgemental. He should not be in a position to work with people. -
Really pleased with this place. They take a lot of stuff. They will pay for some things such as metals and charge you for other stuff such as paint. Friendly employees. Good to see a business recycling so much stuff!

Love that we have a recycling place in town. The people who work there are very friendly & helpful.

I can't even begin to say how great this place is. The guys there are super nice and they recycle just about everything. They also go through your old paint and any paint that they find in good condition, they donate to lower income families. How awesome is this!! We need more places like this :)

Very nicely run, Clean and efficient and what I really love is they sell the stuff that's still good back to the public for scrap prices usually. I have bought several things here including a nice color TV for my garage for 10 bucks...

As the good old boys say who work here, they buy anything a magnet will not stick to. Well run, good prices, easy to get to and helpful staff. Way better than the recycling places on the north side or off Manchester that make you wonder if you should have brought a gun with you.
