I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone I know. They took care of a tree that was over my house for years and had it done within four hours. Very large branches. And very affordable pricing.

They did a excellent job I needed some trees, stumps and honeysuckle removed for a project and they did it all in a few hours I highly recommend them.

After a recent storm, Josh took time out of his weekend to review the damage and arrange next day service. My tree had fallen across my yard and onto my neighbors cars and house. The team did a great job lifting the trees off the house, cars and removing the treat of another storm taking the rest of my tree down. All work was done professionally and quickly. Josh gave us a reasonable bid for the 3 jobs we needed taken care of and the crew did a great job. They were quick and efficient and cleaned up the work area we would recommend them to our friends and neighbors.

Mathias Precision is extremely professional. Last summer we needed our large tree removed, and the crew was amazing. I was so impressed with every aspect - from carefully removing a handmade birdhouse from the tree, to protecting our yard and property from any damage, and the cleanup afterwards. Everything exceeded my expectations!

These guys came out the Monday before 4th of July. We had a neighbors tree fall into ours splitting it. The trees created a huge hazard for our family and neighbors. I highly recommend Mathias for your tree services! I had a giant ash tree in my front yard that I needed to determine if it should be removed or could simply be trimmed. Josh came out and explained to me about the borer damage on our tree, and seeing how attached we were to it, suggested how it could possibly be saved by injections and was up front about the cost and frequency, while explaining it was not a guarantee to save the tree. But he did not push me to make a decision, and recommended waiting until the leaves were coming in to make a final determination. He came back out a few weeks later and even I could see how most of the tree was already dead, so I made the decision to have it removed. I was surprised when they came only about 5 days later, as they had a cancellation, and the tree was completely removed, stump ground up and dug out, and soil, seed and straw covering in place in the span of just a few hours. The crew was fast, efficient, and careful to put safety first the whole time. I appreciated their kindness when my sentimental daughter asked for a cupful of wood chips from the tree that she could save in remembrance.
I won't lie, having a giant tree moved is costly, but it was worth every penny to see how professionally and carefully and correctly it was done. I will definitely be using Matthias Precision Tree Service for any future tree needs!

This makes the third job that Mathias Precision has done for us. They are extremely knowledgeable and honest. If I want something done to a tree or shrub they will let me know if it is good for the plant...other companies would just tack it onto the bid! The workers are so friendly and when the job is completed you will not find a limb or leaf left behind. I highly recommend Josh and his crew... I will never look further!!!!

Many thanks to the very professional Mathias crew. They did a wonderful job of trimming our oak tree. The tree looks much better and makes our house, neighbor's house, and the tree near it much less crowded and safer. They also cleaned up our yard and the neighbor's yard so thoroughly there was no debris left after such a big job. Mathias has trimmed this tree and taken down 2 large trees in our yard in the past. We have always been very happy with their work and recommend them highly.

Josh was extremely thorough, honest, and great with follow-up. His crew did an outstanding job working with me, and wowed me with their clean-up after finishing the tree trimming, stump grinding, putting in my new patio, retaining wall, and landscaping. They showed up reliably, and finished the work in a timely manner. Cannot say enough great things. Professional, reasonable, would ABSOLUTELY recommend 100%!

From first request to project execution, Mathias Tree Service was excellent. Communication was very good. They provided a quick estimate, answered questions and notified us when they would be coming. The work was extremely good - took down two tall junipers and a large elm without any damage at all to surrounding plants and shrubs. Clean up was exemplary. Extremely pleased with the entire process. I’m always wary about taking the lowest estimate, but was very happy we went with this company.

Finally found a tree service that wouldn’t chain saw off an arm and leg too. They are very responsive. Others promised a bid to be emailed to me but never heard back. Mathias looked at the trees that needed trimming and gave me a bid before they drove off. These guys put the pro in professionals. I was amazed at the equipment they came with. They had a man lift that fit through my 42” gate. Went 70 feet in the air. Others said we are going to have to get on your roof which meant the branches would be falling onto my roof after being cut. Mathias didn’t allow one branch touch my roof. They are licensed, bonded and insured which they presented me a copy. They moved all my patio furniture and put it back after cleaning up the debris. Can’t go wrong here. They aren’t butchers. They are arborist.
