Came out and got my air conditioner back running in the same day it went down. Was very communicative with when the techs would be there. And didn’t charge me an arm and a leg.

Jeff is incredible! My furnace stopped working on this thanksgiving morning. Jeff actually answered the phone when I called and was here within 15 minutes! Unbelievable! So very grateful for you, Jeff. You saved the day! I will definitely be using them again for all my HVAC needs.

I called J. Shaw Heating and Cooling for the very first after this major winter storm we just had in Kansas City. Our tenant's furnace was short cycling. My husband is an HVAC guy himself but he was stuck at a meeting. We wanted our tenants taken care of ASAP. J. Shaw took care of them and got the furnace going again for a very reasonable price. Beats my husband taking off work and making a run to the store for the part and replacing it himself! Lily, the woman who answers the phone, is super sweet yet professional.

Our furnace went out. We called a few other places and they weren’t able to come until the next day. I was referred to J. Shaw by a friend. They were able to call within an hour later after I called them. Jeff fixed the issue quickly and was very kind. I’m very grateful for there help during these very chilly temperatures. We will be using them again!

They fixed our mini split that was having issues with heating and cooling over the summer with ease and it’s been running great ever since. We then called them out again recently because we needed to relocate our outdoor hvac unit during our remodel. The guys that came out were friendly and worked very hard to get us exactly the set up we were needing. Everything was done right and for a fair price. Anywhere else would have charged us much more I am certain. Thanks Jeff and J. Shaw staff for all the hvac help at our home. We are able to enjoy our space so much better now!

I called J. Shaw Heating and Cooling to replace a thermostat after the original installation company came out and couldn’t fix it.
J. Shaw Heating and Cooling were punctual and professional. They replaced the thermostat and pointed out and fixed issues that kept my heating and cooling system from running efficiently. They explained all repairs and how the changes would affect the overall operation of the system. When it came time for the bill, they were extremely reasonable for the amount of time they were there and the repairs they completed.

J. Shaw heating and cooling is by far one of the best HVAC teams in the area. Recently our hot water heater went out. We called J. Shaw and they sent someone out to swap them out the same day. The tech was incredibly knowledgeable and did a great job switching the old with the new. They were very fairly priced and trustworthy! Very pleased with the whole experience! I called J.Shaw at 9pm to fix my heat. It was fixed very quickly and with great service. My kids got to experience Shaws cool light show on just truck. I would recommend him to anyone.

I just had two mini-split units installed in a couple upstairs bedrooms at the old farmhouse. I got several bids after explaining in detail what I needed. Jeff at J. Shaw was the only one that really listened to what I needed and didn't give me a bid on just what he wanted to sell me. He gave me a bid at half the price of the others.

The installation J. Shaw team was also excellent. And the customer service and scheduling provided by Lilly was first rate.

We called J Shaw Heating and Cooling when our AC was not working properly. I couldn’t recommend them more. Jeffery fixed our issue in less than 30 minutes and didn’t try to upsell anything on our unit. He explained everything and made the easy fix. We were charged less than what the bigger companies charge for a service call just to look at it. If we have anymore issues with our AC or Furnace we will be using them from now on. It’s hard to find companies these days who are just trying to fix issues and not sell you unnecessary products. We really appreciated their services!
