Lawn care crew does a terrible job - trimming and uneven cuts. Staff is rude if you call the office and terrible at communication and follow up.

Nicole is the best operator administrator I have ever met. I will use this company for all future landscaping needs.

Baker mows the lawn at my townhome community. We are allowed to plant flowers nex to our doors so I did, with flowering plants surrounded by wildflower seeds. Weeks 1 and 2 I got to enjoy my plants. Week 3, they weedwacked down 1 of my lavenders from the back door while it was flowering. Week 4, they cut my oxeye daisy and 2nd lavender from the back door and solme of the wildflowers (down to bare dirt bjt the rest were growing tall). Week 5, they cut my hosta and my wildflowers from my front door which had grown to about 8-10 inches tall by this point. While taking photos of it, one of their employees came to ask me if the last flowering plant left was a flower or needed to be cut down -- how does a landscaping company not know how to identify flowering plants in a garden over grass and weeds?? This has been over a period of weeks and has been inconsistent. When I confronted the man who cut my front garden right after he did it(I was inside) he laughed at me. This seems highly intentional. I have never done anything to this company and simply just planted flowers. My leasing company reached out after week 4 with photos asking them to stop chopping my garden and this week they did it again and literally laughed in my face.

Not sure if this has anything to do with the fact im the only unit in the community with a pride flag in my window or not, but I know im not the only unit woth plants in front.

I do not recommend Baker Landscaping for any reason

We've had Baker perform two separate landscaping/retaining wall projects for us and have been very pleased with the results of both jobs. Baker provided a thorough proposal for our approval prior to beginning the projects and kept us posted once the projects were started. They were timely and efficient with their work schedules and cleaned up every day. Our property's curb appearance has greatly improved as well as its overall value. Thank you, Baker Landscaping.

In this day and age its not often companies care. Baker Landscaping has been doing my buildings lawn care for a couple years and they have gone above and beyond to make our property look good. We really appreciate your effort. Thank you!

I was pressed and had to have finish grading done to my new home. I had an irrigation company scheduled to install my homes sprinkler system, the company that is doing the landscaping wasn't able to do in time the grading. When I called Baker, they had Eric come out to look at the work and give me a price. I was so impressed with Baker landscaping because Eric told me he would have his men work on Labor Day and of course pay them overtime so they would be able to have my home ready for irrigation in a few days. Wow! What an incredible company to offer such help to me and they didn't try to gouge me on the price.
As it turned out the landscaping company that was already working at the property was able to do the grading. I really don't believe any other company would have been so kind to offer to get it done as Baker Landscaping did.

Peyton was excellent, from picking out our plants to keeping us updated step by step, and the gentlemen who installed our landscaping in 95 degree weather were wonderful. I would deffently recommend them.

Nicely done. Installed irrigation system August 2025. Tyler did an excellent job consulting and understanding our needs. He worked diligently and completed installation in a timely manner. Customer service and follow up after installation sealed the deal for this as "top shelf" service. Strongly recommend.

I had a irrigation system installed this week at my residential home. Tyler was exceptional from start to finish. Very knowledgeable, professional, courteous, communicated and kept me informed of the progress. I would definetly recomend Baker Landscaping for any work concerning a irrigation system. The price for a new install was very competitive and was below 2 other bids.

Eric Tveit took took our pitiful and neglected back yard and designed a beautiful garden and patio. Baker's landscaping professionals made our yard look just like Eric's design. We are 100 percent satisfied with this project. Their technical expertise and attention to detail was evident throughout the project.

Adam and his team have helped me since my home was being built, and they’ve been amazing ever since. They installed my pool, replaced the liner, set up my outdoor equipment, and maintain my pond and water features. They cut my grass weekly, handle snow removal in winter, built my outdoor kitchen, and take care of all my landscaping needs.

Adam is an excellent owner — reliable, professional, and great to me and my staff. Highly recommend their services!

Landscape Designer – Eric Veit
I worked with Eric for nearly 3 years to get the perfect design for my backyard. I wanted something, small scale loosely based on Monet’s garden in Givency, France. During this time I would reconfigure things, send him pictures and information on the gardens themselves. He read up on Monet’s gardens to see what kind of plants were used, how they could fit into my design and which could stand up to Midwest weather. He thought about various patio and pathway designs that would look French, he considered my disability to ensure as much of the yard, as possible, could be leveled for easier walking.

He ended up with maybe 6 different designs through the years before he presented what I just knew was the perfect design as soon as I saw it. He was patient, thoughtful and always engaged in what my dreams were for my garden, mixed with his experience in making it happen.

It was completed mid-June 2025 and is almost embarrassingly beautiful for my small yard. It’s a perfect slice of Europe, the lighting is amazing and, if the heat ever ends, it will be a great place to spend time. I'm sure I will be adding a bridge over the pond (the pond was already here when I bought the house) and some wisteria down the line. I think Eric did a great job of matching the hardscape to the pond so it all looks like it was built together. Also, you can't see it, but between the fence and the wall is a dry creek as Eric put together a plan to help aleviate any water issues with downhill drainage.

Eric and I became friends during this journey and I have always been able to call and text him with questions or thoughts. I’m still doing that. I’m sure he will be a regular visitor through the years.
