Reviews of local pros in Independence, Missouri

Steve and his crew did my fall clean up. Wonderful job. It was very windy, but I didn't want all the leaves getting wet AGAIN. They persevered and got it done. Extremely courteous, prompt.

My grandson’s cat got out and climbed the backyard tree. He wouldn’t come down. The cat was in the tree for 3 days. At 6 months old he was afraid. My grandson called several tree services and some quoted 600.00 to bring the cat down. Steve was there in 15 minutes and only charged 100.00. Very nice people who care.

We recently bought a house and within the first month a bad storm rolled through and we had several large tree limbs fall onto our roof, and our backyard. Steve came out the same day I called to give me an estimate to not only remove limbs from the roof and yard but, to also trim up trees in both our front and backyard that were at risk of falling as well. We were having a housewarming party that weekend and Steve rearranged his schedule and that very next morning came out and took care of everything, raked my yard and hauled everything away! He is very reasonable on pricing, responsive, flexible and did a wonderful job! I would definitely recommend him to anyone!

Steve's Trees and Contracting were excellent to work with. I called him today during the snow storm and asked for his assistance with shoveling our driveway. He was at our house in a matter of 30 minutes! Our driveway is now clear! Thank you a million!

Steve and his crew did a great job removing a large tree from a hill on the side of our yard! We got four different bids on the job and Steve’s was the most reasonable! We will definitely be calling him again!

Steve trimmed my tree and did a lot of landscaping and brush removal. He was very professional, easy to talk to and willing to please. He was very fair on the price and did such a good job that I have hired him to do some wood rot replacement and exterior work on my house. I will highly recommend this company!!

I had a big tree limb break and land on my roof during the recent storms. Steve and crew came out at 5PM and were able to to get the branches off my roof without causing any damage. The pricing was good and the job they did was great. I'll be recommending Steve's from now on.

Communication was great/very professional. Gave me a fair price compared to other companies. They were able to come out the very next day to complete the work. They completed the work efficiently and cleaned up the yard and street before they left. Would recommend! Thanks!

Great service. Steve was able to clean up a tree for me. Fast and made sure that all debris was cleaned up. I recommend to my father-in-law and he was just as happy with the service. And on top of all that, Steve donates to a camp that supports individuals with intellectual disabilities. That's how I got his information. a good person all around.

Steve and his crew were out doing a full service on the house next door to mine. I asked if they could cut one branch for me that had fallen on my power line and he happily helped me out with no more than a smile and thank you. Great service to even those that aren't his customers, would highly recommend!

Steve and his team are excellent. I contacted Steve about having a tree removed close to my house that was dying with additional trimming. Steve and his team are very professional and fast. I got a same day quote, great service, and competitive pricing. 100% recommended to everyone!

We have a very large oak tree that three other tree services failed to show up to prune. I contacted Steve for a free quote- my service request was quickly replied to and I was surprised and pleased they came out very next day for a quote. A very fair quote for our needs was met and service was quickly scheduled around my work schedule needs.

Steve and his crews were efficient, and took great care to protect my property where any falling debris may lay. Not to mention he’s one of the nicest people I’ve had the pleasure to meet.

Steve will have my business and referrals as long as my husband and I live in Independence.

Call him- I promise you won’t regret it.

Thank you, Steve!

Steve was very responsive to come out and give a free quote that was incredibly reasonable. He was able to get back out the following week to get the job completed. Steve and his crew work very hard and are efficient as soon as they arrive. Steve and his whole crew were extremely kind as well. Great experience and would call Steve back out for any tree, hauling or gutter cleaning issues in the future.

Steve and his crew are very good at what they do. Steve came out and gave me estimates at 2 different houses. I was lucky to have a break in the winter weather and he was able to get me on the schedule really quick. He went above and beyond and even moved my granddaughters trampoline from my house to hers around the corner. I highly recommend getting your tree work done by Steve. You can't go wrong.

Awesome company! Super fast and Super friendly! Set up a free estimate on their website on Tuesday and Steve came the same day he & crew showed up 2 days later and took care of business! Will definitely use them again!

Steve came out and gave us a very fair bid to have 2 trees taken down and some brush removed. He very friendly and professional, we were able to schedule immediately. Less than a week layer they were out and did an absolutely wonderful job. They were very considerate of our property and livestock. He had great recommendations for replacing our sick and damaged trees. Would not hesitate to use them again!

I contacted Steve to have 3 large stumps removed. He quickly returned my call and came out the same day to give me a quote and was very reasonable. He returned the following week to complete the project. Steve and his crew work very hard and are efficient as soon as they arrive. Steve is great to work with. He is friendly, listens to what you want, definitely does what it takes to please the customer. I would highly recommend this company!

The best tree service in town! Steve was incredibly friendly, professional and has a great personality. He is excellent at communicating and came out the same day I called to give us a free quote. We were able to get scheduled right away. The price was very reasonable and he stands true to his advertised senior discount. He and his crew did an impressive job at safely removing two big dead trees from our yard, plus trimming others, without damaging any of our property! He is extremely talented, handles a tough challenge with ease and knows what he’s doing! His crew put in hard work and were efficient from the moment they arrived. Not only did they cut down the trees, but they cleaned and hauled off all of the debris! It looks amazing. We will be using his company for all of our future tree needs and I highly recommend his business to everyone. Give him a call, you won’t regret it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Have you used them several times now for various jobs they've always showed up and done an excellent job I've personally used them for tree trimming, one tree top cat rescue and snow removal

Steve, his wife and crew did an amazing job. Very friendly. Fast. Everyone worked together and left my yard looking better then they found it. It was a pleasure to watch you guys work. I highly recommend.

I called the number on the listing, spoke to an actual person(Steve), not an answering service, and he stopped by that day. Gave me a number, very reasonable, very professional, and came by the following day(today) and him and his crew knocked out the job in 2 hours. Can't say enough about how great of a job they did, very happy with the service. Strongly recommend to anyone and everyone.
