Ryan and Haley were extremely helpful. I bought a new(used) home only to find out there were lots of electrical issues. Ryan came out and fixed everything! Great problem solver, the first guy I had out couldn't even tell me what was wrong, yet didn't have a problem charging me for a few guesses. As a single mom these things can be intimidating, yet these guys made me feel like family.

I called looking for someone to come install an Ethernet cord and needed it done ASAP. He gave me a time frame and showed up early! . He was able to come out the same day I called. Just a few hours after I called. He was professional and quick. Left no mess and cleaned up after themselves. Thank you Ryan and Bryce!

I had a meter box that was leaking water into my basement. Ryan at Bulb switch came right out and figured out the issue gave me a bid and then scheduled the work. He did a great job at communicating with me when he could come do the work since it needed to be scheduled with KCPL. Best part is his work came in under his bid and he had fair pricing. I will be using these guys for future electrical needs. I highly recommend them!

Ryan and team fit me into their schedule same day. We were quoted $1300 starting price by Bob Hamilton the day before but they we able to quickly fix our issue for an extremely reasonable price (over $1000 difference). Will be keeping info for future needs and to share with anyone that is looking for an electrician!

We wanted to be sure our house was up to code before selling. Ryan was quick to respond and arrived when he said he would. He explained what the work he would be doing which I appreciate. When I had an additional need, he got the work done quickly.

Jason and crew were amazing! Jason is very knowledgeable, a hard worker, super courteous! The crew came in and got the work done in a very reasonable amount of time, so worth it to have them out to do the work! The owner Ryan is a great asset, highly recommend!

These guys are amazing! Came out and wired my new garage for me. Pulled all needed permits and made sure everything was done perfect. No loose ends, all the wiring is ran completely straight, truly professional work. Even came in and helped with a small issue i was having in the house. Great rates as well. Ryan will be my electrician for life

These guys are amazing. We haven't had light in our kitchen for 2 years and finally decided to call someone. They answer calls right away, and from the time that we called them it took about 2 days to get everything done even though we are about 45 minutes out. They came out to give an estimate the same day and we're very respectful. We had two lights in the kitchen and one light above the sink. We've talked to a lot of people around where we live and not only do they have the best prices but they were in and out in like 20 minutes. Very friendly people. It's hard to find genuinely good people nowadays so I highly recommend that you go with these guys.

I needed all of my outlets re-done in my kitchen. Ryan came out the next day, assessed the situation, and was back out the very next day and got it done! Very friendly, very helpful...and cleaned up after himself! Will use again if I need an electrician!

Instead of looking at the green light on my small freezer..It was working fine!!
He raised the lid that had 3 Full 5 gallon water jugs of glacier water in them for my Nonnie’s Shaved Ice Treats and caused 1 to fall off and Bust!
Water all over and didn’t even say he was Sorry…
Charged 340. after hours and disconnected 1 GIF!
He moved around my home so fast not caring about the things in my home!
All he talked about was putting a Good Review on Google….well here you go the Best Review I could give!

Just moved into our home and are new to the area. We needed a new Dryer outlet installed. Gave Ryan a call and he came quickly. He was very professional and great to talk with. Will definitely use him again for our electrical needs!

Ryan was very informative, his apprentice was was polite, he went above and beyond for coming on a holiday. Did an excellent job.

Ryan and his team were friendly and professional. I recently bought an older home and none of the outlets were grounded. They grounded everything and installed all new outlets and light switches throughout the entire house to update them. They also discovered an issue that was missed on the home inspection. They did a great job. I would definitely recommend Bulb Switch Electric!

I've done business with these folks a few times, and they always come through when they say, and with a good attitude. This is who I'd call if my grandma needed work done. The best service and price, hands down.

Ryan was prompt, extremely courteous, and very helpful when he came out to look at what I was wanting done. His recommendations met all of what I was wanting accomplished, and the scope of work was less than I had estimated, saving me money. The electrician who came to do the work was prompt and performed the repairs and replacements quicker than expected. Ryan and his team were exceptional! I typically do not write reviews and work on my own house but life has gotten busy.
Ryan came out to fix a problem that a different electrician company gave us. We hired an electrician a week ago and that electrician was terrible (it was not Bulb Switch Electric). This terrible company spent 3 hours at our house, made one of our outlets worse, and told us we would have to rip out our kitchen backsplash to finish the job.
I then contacted Bulb Switch Electric LLC to get a second opinion. Ryan was very attentive to our problem and assured me we didn't not need to rip out the backsplash. He and his team came over and redid the job (work on 6 outlets) of the previous company. We ended up not having to rip out our backsplash because Ryan knows his stuff and his company saved us a thousand of dollars of remodel expenses! You can't ask for a better experience and honest work.
Other Things I Appreciated
- He gave all 3 of my kids high fives when he walked in (super friendly guy)
- Made it his mission to get our problem disappear quickly. He even called in 2 other workers from his company to speed up the project.
- Outstanding price

We needed a 220 run for a mini split we are installing. Great price and awesome work. They installed it right and it looks perfect. I was super impressed and will use again and refer. Ryan was great and you can tell he takes pride in his work.

Bulb Switch Electric LLC is Grossly Incompetent & Unreliable. Ryan & company were hired to do a kitchen remodel. After 3 months of work the kitchen wiring was so messed up we did not have lighting in the kitchen, large unattractive wires hanging down in the middle of glass cabinets, and other lighting outside of the kitchen did not work. We heard numerous times that he would “knock the job out tomorrow”. Most days when Ryan showed up and scheduled to work the full day, he would announce that he &/or his trainee crew would have to leave midday for another job. Estimate for our remodel was 3 days. After 3 months we invited Ryan not to come back. It has cost us $2500 to fix his mess. Lastly, he is incredibly disrespectful to his crew and spoke disparagingly about them to us when they were not present. Needless to say he has trouble keeping people on staff.

I had Ryan replace the old lighting and install LED lighting in my Business space. Him and his crew were very quick and made sure the job was completed by the deadline he set. Was a great and easy experience and I’d recommend their services to anyone.

I am a repeat customer. Ryan is always very thorough, neat, and finished in a timely manner. I will continue to use Bulb Switch for my electrical needs and would recommend him to everyone! Thanks Ryan!
