I sent a Yelp request for an estimate for a specific plumbing job. This business responded with a demand, without an estimate, that I call them.

That other plumbers could provide an estimate based on my description of the work is ample evidence this business is too high and might to read requests from Yelp.

VERY offensive.

I love the variety you can find at The Summit. And it's always fun to visit on Saturday for the Farmer's Market--but when you're in a mid-week pinch for local produce, The Summit saves the day/meal. Love the friendly service and the updates they post on social media!

I let start with the nightmare I just experience with this company twice. On Wednesday I spoke with Brittany to have a drain tech come to my residence. I received a text message indicating that the tech was on his way at 2:23pm by the name of Brandon Smith. At 3:15p.m. I got another text message indicating that Mike Clavin was on his way. Then I got a telephone call at 4:06pm stating that Mike Clavin was on his way. So, I contacted the office and spoke with Brittany again and she stated that Mike was at my residence working which was incorrect. Then she advised that he was coming from Fenton, Missouri at 3:15pm and could be stuck in traffic. Only to discover Mike was on a lunch break at 3:15pm and was never in route until after 4 p.m. Paige (supervisor) called me on Thursday apologizing for the issues I had on Wednesday and offered a free camera inspections. I informed her that I didn't want the tech from Wednesday to come out to my residence. She indicated that she would give me a call when the tech was on his way. I was asked to remove the post from Yelp. I advised that if the services was finished without issues I would consider taking down my review. But of course I receive another text message indicating that Mike Clavin was on his way. I called and Brandon answered the call and indicated that he didn't know were Paige was. During our conversation Paige is within eye sight of Brandon. Brandon indicates that he would be transferring me to Paige and never did. I disconnected the call at 11:23am. Paige returned my call and indicated that should told Brandon that she was in a meeting and would call me back within 5 minutes. Brandon never call me back to advise me of this information. Paige calls back at 11:42 which is way pass the 5 mins, to inform me that Mike was on his way. I do believe in giving people second chances but come on. At least follow through on what you tell me. Needlessness to say Mr. Kirkwood will not be servicing my residence. Maybe you all will have a better experience.

Monroe did a great job for us:
-arrived on time after pre-calling us
-quickly and efficiently solved a mis wiring problem on an exterior
circuit, and tied in a new "wet" area box to an existing circuit
-now we can safely run our above ground pool pump and new
heater on separate switched boxes
-gave me a price break down before commencing work
-after a quick trip to the shop for a few parts, Monroe got right to
work and completed the job in less than an hour

Highly recommend if you want professional grade work in a
reasonable amount of time with no unnecessary "up sells".
Excellent communication and results.

There are a lot of farmers markets in the ST. Louis area, but this one is #1 on my list! Because their produce is the best (the produce is almost all homegrown depending on the season that they are in) you can't find this good quality in your supermarkets anymore! And plus the staff are super friendly, kind and knowledgeable on their products! They will help no matter how busy they are on the weekends and weekdays (they are open 7 days week!!!!!)

My favorite season is Summer because of all the local Produce that starts to come in, and The Summit All Season Market has all the local Produce you will need and want! For anything! My favorite right that I just got from them, is the Missouri black diamond watermelon! OMG talk abt a juicy n' sweet dessert! The best thing right now. I had a young man pick me out one the other day and let me tell you he knows his Melons!! The best watermelon I've had in Forever!

This is my favorite place to shop for the holidays! Always find the most unique and charming gifts and decorations at Summit.
I've been going here for over 25 years and so have all of my family and friends!
The produce and baked goods are amazing as well!

I've been a chef for 44 years, this is the only place I shop for fruits and vegetables. The staff are always friendly and helpful, the market has a great variety of things you won't find in the grocery store. If you aren't shopping here your definitely missing out!!! Also in October they have the kids zone which is a great outing for the whole family, and don't forget about Christmas, Santa will have his workshop up and running with everything you'll need for the holiday.

The Summit in Kirkwood is truly one of a kind!

I absolutely love shopping at The Summit. The staff is exceptional--friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely happy to help. You can tell that they take pride in what they do and really care about their customers. It's refreshing to visit a place where great customer service still feels like a priority.

And the produce is fantastic! Everything is beautifully displayed, the selection is incredible, and the quality and freshness really stand out. Whether I'm looking for fresh fruits and vegetables, or something a little different, Summit always seems to have something wonderful.

What makes the experience even better is the atmosphere. It feels like a true community market rather than just another place to buy groceries. There's energy, personality, and a genuine sense of pride throughout the entire market.

Summit is a Kirkwood gem, and the people who work there are a huge part of what makes it so special. If you haven't been, you're absolutely missing out. I highly recommend stopping by--you'll find great produce, an amazing selection, and some of the nicest people around!

Five stars without hesitation!

Sage, from Exceptional Electric, has resolved several wiring issues for us. This time, he added several GFCI receptacles and rewired one switch/duplex. I am well pleased with his work, patience and professionalism ... Sage is an excellent representative not only for himself but for Exceptional Electric.

Mr. Rooter, you failed me. I asked you to come out and cut a hole in my bathroom ceiling to prove that a leak was coming from the neighbor above. You charged me over $600 to do that. Then I contacted you three times for follow up and you wouldn't return my calls. Bad service. Horrible price.

Top notch work, very fair price, and really felt like we were working with a group that cared about our home and our project.
We had them quote adding 6 recessed lights to our living room, 2 recessed lights to the dining room, installing a recessed media box, and some other minor work on outlets. Their original quote was very reasonable, and we decided to go with them for the work. I could write a very lengthy review on the many things our tech did that went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied with the work done and that we got exactly what we envisioned for our newly purchased home. He/we ran into an issue when working on the dining room lights and at first we backed off that portion of the work. After a long weekend, he came back to finish up the rest of the job, and he said "I have been thinking about this all weekend, and I have a plan on how to make these lights work". He outlined his plan and we said "sounds awesome, it also sounds like it added a lot of money". His response "Nope, I said I was going to get this done at what we quoted, and this solution will do that and give you exactly what you wanted!" I will absolutely use them again for future electrical jobs. As a cherry on top, the company sent us a really nice thank you note AND a box of cookies after the job was completed!!

Not sure why I was left waiting without a call back when they said they would be in the neighborhood and call at a specific time...guess I’m easy to forget...it kinda makes you wonder what’s up with this crew... or maybe they took on more jobs than they could handle. In any case, I’ll check them off my list.

I would recommend this company to everyone I know. They did an amazing job. I was truly impressed with everything. 6 hours after they started, there's not even a leaf left. They were efficient and very reasonably priced!

Woodpeckers are a topnotch tree company! We have had them do some work for us and has always done a great job! This is a company I would recommend to my family and friends! I think it is great to see a crew that has a passion and love for Jesus !! A+

They took down a large tree next to our house and pruned our larger trees to prevent further storm damage. Work was done quickly and crew did a great job. With any tree service, there will be a delay after big storms due to critical issues needing attention first. Family owned and operated as well!

Fast, efficient. Took them 3.5 hours to cut tree and clean up storm damage. Cleaned up after themselves and didn't leave a message behind. Reasonable price from all the other bids I got.

These guys are so awesome and thorough and nice. Levi came to inspect outside my home to find pest entry points and gave me an amazing repair plan that he separated into different parts depending on urgency. They came out today to do part of the repair work around my gutters and set a trap for a squirrel issue I’ve been having. Will definitely be recommending you guys to others!
