About the business:
Before launching My Insulation Guy in 2022, I'd spent over a decade (since 2011) in residential construction and insulation across the Kansas City area. The pattern was always the same: good homes with thin attic insulation, unsealed penetrations, and homeowners stuck between hot/cold rooms and high energy bills. I started My Insulation Guy to fix that with a listening-first, results-focused approach.
We built a simple process: inspect and measure, explain options in plain English, air seal the big leaks, then install the right fiberglass or cellulose to hit the R-value target. For older KC homes ('60s–'90s) that often means careful insulation removal, thorough prep, and a clean, fast reinstall. I'm on site for the details that matter - tidy removals, tight air sealing, and a home that feels different the same night. We aim for the best value with clear pricing, courteous crews, and before/after photos. That's how we've grown, one comfortable, quieter home at a time.

Daniel was very prompt with communication and very truthful to what was going to be best for my house and the specific project I contacted him for. He was not trying to upsell or talk me into something in I didn't need. Although I was not able to use him for the project, he pointed me in the direction of who could perform the necessary work. I look forward to using him in the future for other projects because he has earned my trust. He focused on me as a person rather than me as a potential income source.
