We were gifted a yard of already-dying sod with our new home in July. As first-time homeowners we had no clue what we were doing and failed to revive it. By Labor Day, you can see the result (Before Photo). Super dead sod for our entire front yard and something had to be done. After consulting with the guys at Grass Pad, we left with Golf Starter, peat moss, and Heatwave Fescue. Armed with garden weasels, dethatching rakes, and a hand powered grass seed spreader, we went to work to essentially start over on our yard. Just five weeks later and the “after” photos speak for themselves. Without the help and advice from Grass Pad, we would’ve just tried to get an overpriced bag of filler-heavy grass seed from the hardware store, sprinkled it at random, and failed at getting our yard anywhere. But now, we have the best yard on the block! Thanks Grass Pad!

I saw the Grass Pad commercial about their Heatwave fescue seed,3 years ago. We’ve been using it ever since. They are telling the truth about this stuff. Our yard looks so much better, and We do not have an in-ground sprinkler system

Always a great experience with this location. They’re always welcoming and willing to help and answer any question you may have. We use a ton of their lawn products including sod, seed and turf treatments and have great results with them all. Highly recommended. P.s. John at the seed counter is very knowledgeable.

Grass Pad gold potatoes from 1.5 bucket of seed potatoes. Planted March 28th! Harvested this morning. I estimate 60-70 lbs. I will harvest Pontiac red in another week!

The cart of Pontiac Red is a full row and we estimate 100lbs. Dug today. We harvested a half row last Saturday and estimated 70 lbs.

Grass pad here in Lee Summit is pretty awesome. I’ve been buying from the store for about 10 years. I’m very impressed with their selection prices and quality. We do there yearly maintenance program for our yard and love the way our grass looks.

Grass pad had everything I needed to update our mulch beds! Aside from the great quality plants the staff is made up of the most helpful & attentive people! I’ll definitely be back when it’s time to tackle the front yard. Thank you, lovely grass pad ladies!!

The only place I’ll go for my yard questions! Every employee here is knowledgeable and helpful. They make things simple to understand. Load your car up for you right away and have great pricing. We found out this year that they sell live Christmas trees this year and just picked one up.

Service here is pretty good, and they can always give great advice on what will help improve your lawn. They have excellent seed blends, and the sod is typically good. Not a huge selection of landscape plants, though.

Great selection of flowers and reasonably priced. They were also able to give us some information on when to seed our lawn. I've heard good things about their grass seed. I hope it works for us 🤞

Bought a 50lb bag of Heat Wave (tall fescue) for fall overseed. Store was out of stock for starter fertilizer. Picture here is 3 weeks after seeding, I’m very pleased with the seed!

3 yrs ago, I decided to start using the "IDIOT PROOF" lawncare system on both my daughters yard and mine. we both got fungus, neither ever had it before. bought their expensive fungus fighter to stop it and that worked. next yr same thing. this years my daughter put the fungus fight down (a month ago) as they have added that to their pamphlets. I did not. Last weekend I put down step 3, as directed by dates they say, and this weekend BOTH my daughter and I have fungus again. we live on opposite sidea of town and none of our neighbors have fungus. they want me to believe it lives in the soil and it is just a coincidence yet neither of us had it until we started using the program and none of our neighbors have it. I walked my dogs past a hundred home and none have it. ironically when I was in their asking them why and having them tell me it is what it is, 2 more people cane in asking about fungus. amazing. they also tried to say it could be something else or a dog peeing in the yard. the dog must be able to jump fences, to pee if both front and back yard, as well as run across town to my daughter...all in the same week. needless to say, not using this program any more.

I’ve come here for the last 2 years and got the kit multiple times. For some reason my number, name, address isn’t in the system, they lost all my points and have to create a new profile and start all over. Today I spent 394 dollars for the spring 10 set up. I get home to work on the yard and put the prevent down and I have NO grass seed. I call to verify that I bought it and Richard said yes and I should have it. He wants me to drive over there again, I said no as it’s pretty far for me. I say I would be in Wednesday I guess. Very disappointing when you spend so much and the order is wrong.
