Went in to buy some pre emergent and they wanted $50 for a 15,000 square foot bag. So I left and went to site one across town and they only need $18 for 12,500 coverage and that was for the best stuff or I could get the yellow colored stuff which is what grass pad sells for only $15 a bag. WOW I can't afford grass pad anymore. Plus the people at site one we're incredibly nice.

I had a couple questions about the best grass seed to use for my application. I thought I was at a good place to get some answers. I approached a lady behind the counter and after ignoring me for about 30 seconds she looked up and said I'm closed. I told her I just had a couple questions about grass seed if she didnt mind. She basically threw a facial fit and said what. I told her I would find someone else. I then approached a guy at the front of the store and asked him for help. He told me to follow him. We walked to the rear of the store where he got behind the counter and asked what my question was. I asked why he couldn't answer my question up front and he said he didn't want to get in trouble for answering questions up front. He then answered my questions and $375 later I was on my way. Yes, this will be my last visit. No, I don't appreciate playing thier games. Feldman's has good products and has always treated me with respect. I will buy my grass seed there from now on.

after i bought weed n feed i needed a seed sprayer. so i walk in and i was greeted with "what are you doing here?" as a former bartender im trying to remember when i ever would dare ask that. after i made way through their gestapo sales team they only had one seed sprayer for $200 ish. btw i share a property line with grasspad. they didnt just do this with a customer, they did it with a neighbor.

In April I purchased $125 worth of seed and
weed killer. My yard looks the worst ever.
I went back a week ago and got crab grass killer. Help were very polite and helpful.
However. When I returned today the Boss
had no sympathy about my lack of grass when I showed him photos. And said we had least rain and many lawns died.
I had hoped that he would have " worked"
something out, but like their advisement,

Get ready for a passive aggressive comment from the cashier when you don't sign up for their loyalty program

Grass pas in lees summit. Do not recommend. They started out nice but then went down hill. My husband and I purchased 6 fruit trees. Went to pick them up and they didn’t have one of our Fuji apple trees. They said we would have to come back. My husband asked if they would call us when it as in and they said no. We would have to keep calling and ask. We called them weekly for over a month waiting for our tree. Finally we called and they said they had 3 in. Since we have to drive 30+ mins my husband asked if they would put one back for us. They said they would. We drove the 30+ minutes the next day. No one in the store knew what we were talking about and needless to say they didn’t have our tree. We spoke with Steve the nursery manager and he said no we don’t have them. Won’t have them until Fall. We explained what happened and he said well….we don’t have them. Thankfully we were able to get a refund for that 1 tree but will not be buying here again.

I went to Grass Pad in Lee's Summit.  My girls and I were looking for a real Christmas tree.  I walked over to the sale signs, by the plants and bushes.  I was approached by this young man, a red head.  He said his name was Johnathan and he worked in the nursery.  He began to tell me about plants.  They were buy One and the second One was for a penny.  BUT he was mumbling things and then every sentence was ended with a humming sound like "hhhnnnn".  His eyes were bugged out and he kept following us around, trying to explain each plant that we stopped and looked at....  I told him that I was just looking.  He followed us through the Christmas tree rows. The girls kept looking back, incredibly afraid and distressed.  I just left.  This was the worst salesperson that I have ever encountered at a business.  It was a scary and a sketchy experience.  I hope this Nursery salesperson is not the face of Grass Pad.  Why shop and feel disturbed? Not my type of place.  Not a good look!

Yeah, this particular location is a no for me. The staff is absolutely attentive, darn near annoying but I know how to send them on their way, so they are not constantly bothering me. There is one southern accent young lady that tickles me every time I go in there, but unfortunately she wasn’t there today. I’ve gotten grass seeds from them (with a blade of grass they needed to match) that mess was nothing like the grass I’ve spent several summers trying to perfect. Flowers I’ve gotten from them, a flop…even the bulbs are crappy! I do better going to HD or Lowe’s, at least in there, I know it’s just kids making money for the summer, no real landscaping or knowledge of a horticulturist. Never again! A waste of my money…LITERALLY!!!!
