I just love going to this place. They have everything you need for your yard. Flowerpots concrete stuff A-to-Z people are very knowledgeable and very friendly. The prices ain’t too bad either.

In April I purchased $125 worth of seed and
weed killer. My yard looks the worst ever.
I went back a week ago and got crab grass killer. Help were very polite and helpful.
However. When I returned today the Boss
had no sympathy about my lack of grass when I showed him photos. And said we had least rain and many lawns died.
I had hoped that he would have " worked"
something out, but like their advisement,
It was not IDIOT PROOF. LOST CUSTOMER

I have used there lawn plan now for several years and always get compliments on my yard. All the employees are very friendly and helpful. The guys at the seed counter are always patient with my dumb questions. We are currently trying to rid a couple of patches in my yard of fungus in the heat and humidity time. Will report back on that. But do sign-up for Uncles Idiot Proof Program, you wont regret it.

Picked up sod at a very reasonable price. I only had my car so I had to make 2 trips and Jonathan helped me both times. He was extremely helpful loading for me and a joy to be around. The world needs more of him. He definitely deserves a raise!

Grass pas in lees summit. Do not recommend. They started out nice but then went down hill. My husband and I purchased 6 fruit trees. Went to pick them up and they didn’t have one of our Fuji apple trees. They said we would have to come back. My husband asked if they would call us when it as in and they said no. We would have to keep calling and ask. We called them weekly for over a month waiting for our tree. Finally we called and they said they had 3 in. Since we have to drive 30+ mins my husband asked if they would put one back for us. They said they would. We drove the 30+ minutes the next day. No one in the store knew what we were talking about and needless to say they didn’t have our tree. We spoke with Steve the nursery manager and he said no we don’t have them. Won’t have them until Fall. We explained what happened and he said well….we don’t have them. Thankfully we were able to get a refund for that 1 tree but will not be buying here again.

I went to Grass Pad in Lee's Summit.  My girls and I were looking for a real Christmas tree.  I walked over to the sale signs, by the plants and bushes.  I was approached by this young man, a red head.  He said his name was Johnathan and he worked in the nursery.  He began to tell me about plants.  They were buy One and the second One was for a penny.  BUT he was mumbling things and then every sentence was ended with a humming sound like "hhhnnnn".  His eyes were bugged out and he kept following us around, trying to explain each plant that we stopped and looked at....  I told him that I was just looking.  He followed us through the Christmas tree rows. The girls kept looking back, incredibly afraid and distressed.  I just left.  This was the worst salesperson that I have ever encountered at a business.  It was a scary and a sketchy experience.  I hope this Nursery salesperson is not the face of Grass Pad.  Why shop and feel disturbed? Not my type of place.  Not a good look!

Every staff member I dealt with was extremely helpful and courteous. KC helped me coordinate plants for a couple of hanging baskets - her suggestions and plant combinations were awesome

Went down to the Grass Pad today. I usually go for fertilizer, but today for Grub X. And I got some stuff for nut grass. If you need help , it’s great. If you just need to buy, it’s great.

Lisa was a great help and a very friendly knowledgable staff member. I will definately be back.

Bought a 50lb bag of Heat Wave (tall fescue) for fall overseed. Store was out of stock for starter fertilizer. Picture here is 3 weeks after seeding, I’m very pleased with the seed!

Kraig at the Lee’s summit grass pad is knowledgeable and though. He helped bring my yard back to life!!!

Always friendly and helpful. I cannot stress enough to get Grasspad program, it’s easy and a lot cheaper than having a company treat your lawn.

We were gifted a yard of already-dying sod with our new home in July. As first-time homeowners we had no clue what we were doing and failed to revive it. By Labor Day, you can see the result (Before Photo). Super dead sod for our entire front yard and something had to be done. After consulting with the guys at Grass Pad, we left with Golf Starter, peat moss, and Heatwave Fescue. Armed with garden weasels, dethatching rakes, and a hand powered grass seed spreader, we went to work to essentially start over on our yard. Just five weeks later and the “after” photos speak for themselves. Without the help and advice from Grass Pad, we would’ve just tried to get an overpriced bag of filler-heavy grass seed from the hardware store, sprinkled it at random, and failed at getting our yard anywhere. But now, we have the best yard on the block! Thanks Grass Pad!

I saw the Grass Pad commercial about their Heatwave fescue seed,3 years ago. We’ve been using it ever since. They are telling the truth about this stuff. Our yard looks so much better, and We do not have an in-ground sprinkler system

Yeah, this particular location is a no for me. The staff is absolutely attentive, darn near annoying but I know how to send them on their way, so they are not constantly bothering me. There is one southern accent young lady that tickles me every time I go in there, but unfortunately she wasn’t there today. I’ve gotten grass seeds from them (with a blade of grass they needed to match) that mess was nothing like the grass I’ve spent several summers trying to perfect. Flowers I’ve gotten from them, a flop…even the bulbs are crappy! I do better going to HD or Lowe’s, at least in there, I know it’s just kids making money for the summer, no real landscaping or knowledge of a horticulturist. Never again! A waste of my money…LITERALLY!!!!

Very helpful staff that worked with me to figure out exactly what I needed based on my lawn and soil, suggested products based on my budget, and a plan for the year--all just part of walking in. No upsell or pressure.
