They removed a large tree also trimmed up storm damage for tree health on a couple more. Came when they said they would did a really good job and cleaned up very well. If you need tree work call them you can't beat the knowledge and care. Great service.

Very impressed with the service provided by Walker - from the initial bid to completion of job. Professional, knowledgable, organized, courteous and timely. Team of 5 arrived 30 mins prior to scheduled start time to assess, prep and confer with us. No damage to property, clean-up ongoing through-out process, left our yard clean and debris free. Their shirts say it all, "We take pride in our job." And, I might add...all with a great attitude! We will only use Walker in the future. Thank you!

Hired this company early April to remove a stump and set appointment for Easter week. They never came. Apparently they couldn't remember setting the appointment after I called them. Walker then told me the dig markers were ordered and once they had notice it was completed, they would show up. They never did and it is mid May now. I hired someone else to do the job that showed up next day. Don't bother hiring these clowns cause clearly they don't know how to do business.

Three years ago, we had five mature (30 years) pin oak trees trimmed by Walker Tree Service. Because I love my trees, I only wanted a person who loved trees to do the trimming for me. John Walker and his son are Arborist and they really love trees and know the correct way to trim them. They also cared about me and wanted to make sure I was happy with the job that they had performed. I was and continue to be pleased. I learned that they do tree trimming for William Jewell College and that is impressive too.
What prompted this review today, three years later, I was sitting at my table and heard the noise of a tree being trimmed. I didn't know what tree service was doing the trimming. I could only see three guys working in the distance. I told my son that I thought it was Walker Tree Service, and here is why:
They all had orange helmets with ear protectors on.
The lead guy had a florescent helmet with ear protectors.
They were methodically working well with each other.
They had covered the grass leading up to the tree they were trimming so that they could drive one of their machines over without ruining the grass.
They were using a machine to haul the big limbs and chunks of the tree trunk down to the shredder.
They weren't yelling at each other.
They were doing what my son, Lindsay, always suggested to me, "Mom, remember to work smarter and not harder."
I walked outside to check, and sure enough, it was Walker Tree Service.
John Walker cares for the well being of his employees too. If he didn't follow some of the safety care, in 5 to 10 years, or less, some of these guys could be on disability and virtually deaf for the rest of their lives.
It ALL matters and adds up to the fact that Walker Tree Service cares for you, your trees, your property, their employees and their equipment. I will call no one else. Thank you.

Due to rainy weather, it took a while to get our work done. Frankly, we appreciated the wait. A neighbor's yard was torn up when their work was done while their yard was wet.
Walker's was professional, knowledgeable, and they did a great job of cleaning up the yard after a storm. They also trimmed, cleaned and thinned out trees. Everything looked neat and clean when they were finished. When needing work done on our trees, we will call Walker's again.

Outstanding service. Very quick to respond to our inquiry and schedule a visit to make an estimate. Estimate completed ahead of schedule, and it was a better price than others bidding. Outstanding communication both by telephone and electronically. The work was completed on schedule, cleanup was outstanding! I would highly recommend this company.

Walker Tree Service was professional, punctual, friendly, and did a thorough clean up when they were finished. We have worked with them for almost 20 years.

Outstanding service. Everyone worked in unison and 3 extra tall trees from 1974 were cut down and everything was cleaned up in one day. Staff did an excellent job with the pulleys/ropes from tree to tree and lowering those gigantic trunks. The crew wore helmets and headsets for safety. Kudos to the grounds crew for your hard work in cleaning up the entire front yard that was filled with sweet gum balls. We had a love/hate relationship with those 2 trees and will miss the shade. Thank you Jonathan for covering our grass and allowing the cherry picker truck to do its work in the back yard. The shredder chewed up everything and the crew was very efficient working with those large limbs. Would definitely recommend this company.

We have had several different tree companies out over the years. By far Walker tree service was the most professional. They take extreme care not to damage the yard and clean up was great. No need to look any further. Only tree company we will use from now on.

I hired Walker to come take out several trees in my back yard that were half dead and to help shed light on the yard. Jonathan was punctual, pleasant to work with and his team was safe and efficient. They had skills that I was amazed to see. Jonathan was so patient and accommodating when I added or changed scope. I would recommend them!

I have used Walker Tree Service for professional assistance with our non- profit agency (wooded area) and for personal home assistance. John is the best of the best. He and his team know their trees. They were willing to answer all of my questions prior and even during the process. My goal was to essentially become part of the team to understand health of my tree. They gave me literature and answered questions galore and made some great suggestions. I would recommend Walker Tree Service to anyone.

Walker Tree Service recently completed trimming on a huge cottonwood in our yard. They gave me a great estimate, kept in contact with me to schedule the work and did a great job. They had to remove a bush to get their truck in the yard, but took great care in avoiding damage to it or the yard. Really appreciate the good work!

Since moving here less than 2 years ago we have called Walker Tree Service twice to come help with our tree needs. They have removed 2 trees that were touching our roof and trimmed 4 more at our house. They are licensed, insured and so knowledgeable on every tree in our area! I highly recommend them!

We highly recommend Walker Tree Service! We had 2 older trees that had not been trimmed in several years and the entire team stepped up and made the process so easy and worry free. We have a backyard pool which needed to be considered and an older Oak that needed to be thinned. From the initial quote by John to the service provided by Xavier and Robbie we couldn't be more pleased with the speed to get our trees ready for the growing season. We will definitely consider using Walker Tree Service in the future!

Removing our tree was just part of the service I really appreciated. The crew took extra care in moving their equipment from the street to my backyard. Hardly a blade of grass was damaged. Once the tree was down, they had all the logs removed and mulched. They even swept the street of any sawdust. I hated to lose my tree, but I am so happy the crew at Walker handled the work and left my yard looking like nothing happened. They deserve the best report card possible.

The Walker Tree Service crew worked efficiently and respectfully. After project completion, the crew left the site looking amazing and in beautiful condition. The price was reasonable and fair. I plan to use Walker Tree Service for future tree removals and pruning! Fantastic company! 10/10 would recommend.

In March we had two trees that were well over 90 feet tall removed, and stumps removed. We also had tree trimming on a third tree. The entire Walker Tree Service crew were so professional, knowledgeable, efficient and respectful! Several of our neighbors watched the removal of the trees, and were also highly impressed. We will continue to recommend your company to everyone who asks. We are also considering taking out another tree in the rear of our property. Thanks again for everything!

DJ and his crew did an amazing job clearing up the power lines by my new house. I guess the previous owner would not let anyone trim the trees but they were majorly impacting the lines... DJ kept the property looking great and was wonderful at communicating with me during the work. I was concerned it would not look great and that I would have limbs everywhere but I couldn't even tell they had been on the property. Thanks DJ for being considerate!!

Great group! Courteous and professional. Did a great clean up and took care of the surrounding yard fence and yard even with the obstacles in the way they were able to get it down to the ground level.
