Second time we’ve used them. Very responsive and easy to work with; installed/exchanged 3 lavatory faucets. Finished quickly and very polite; cleaned up after work. They will be our new plumbers from now on.

I will say they showed up on time and are professional but they also charged me just under $500 an hour to fix an outside faucet. It took them around 45 min to repair the $25.00 part and charged me over $500 to fix.

Best plumber I’ve found in Stone County. Don’t take your chances with low cost or fly by night plumbers... you get what you pay for! Ted has helped us twice now, Quality work, shows up on time and gets the job done right the 1st time! Highly recommend !

Ted did a fantastic job taking out old tub and putting in a new shower. He was here when he said he would be and finished the same time as promised. It looks fabulous and we are so happy with the results. Would recommend him to anyone that needs plumbing done.

If you need something fixed just keep looking. At least the tech didn’t drive out to give me a price he just told me a price so insane anyone would say no. I got a price for a min of 1600.00 (replace 3’ of frozen 3” pvc pipe) which is right by an access door so easy to get to. Said he needed a 600.00 hazmat suit and that the pipe has gotten outrageous high cost lol.
What he really said is hey customer I don’t really want to do the work so here is a go away price and to help I won’t drive to your house and save you the 125.00 show up fee. He made sure to tell me it could be much higher but just wanted to give me a heads up. They must do new construction or simple above the house fixes and rely heavily on charging folks 125 bucks to give you a bid. Disappointing and I never do reviews really but this was so bad I hope I can save someone else.

They replaced water mains, installed new meter box cutoffs and made connections to 8 homes on shared well. Started on day promised and finished on time and within our budget. They were professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Cleaned up site and replaced gravel road and driveways in good condition. Would definitely recommend and use them again.

Top hat sent out a tech named Mike to fix my broken water pipes. He was the best!! He was very kind polite and very professional. I wanted to say Thankyou Mike and Top Hat for being so professional and getting the job done right.

We were having problems with our water heater and called Affluent and they were at our house in 45 minutes. Ted was very professional and also very personable. He explained the problem and the fix in a way we could understand. He also stayed and answered our questions. I would highly recommend this company. We will be using them again for any plumbing problems we may have.

Don’t believe the negative reviews!! Chris & the crew at Tophat plumbing did an awesome job on our house. We recently purchased our forever home & noticed the plumbing was sub par. We want it to last the rest of our lives, so we called them. They came 1 day after estimate. We got a new hot water heater, new water softener, new whole house water filter, new toilet installed & plumbed to master suite, (why the bathroom didn’t have a toilet is beyond us) new faucet in kitchen, new washer box & brand new pex in the crawl space to every toilet, sink & everything else that needs water. They even replaced an outdoor spicket that had froze & busted at some time. They showed up early & worked entire day, they even hauled off all the old stuff they removed. We highly recommend them & will definitely use them in the future, should the need ever arise. They went above & beyond & we are totally satisfied with the quality & professionalism of their work. We cannot thank them enough.

I contacted them, Top Hat Plumbing, to repair a faucet & a leak under a commercial sink.. The guy Scott came out & repaired the faucet & then went to the commercial sink & repaired one side & left the other side leaking. He claimed to my husband I told him that was all?? Seriously??? He’s suppose to be a plumber; I don’t claim to be!! I called the owner to get this resolved & he said he didn’t like threats??? I just wanted this repaired since their plumber was there all day & we paid them for these services…We own a business and would never treat customers this way!!! We would make it right… WOULD NEVER recommend this company….thank you

I called this company to get my grandmothers shower repaired as she lives alone now in Reed Springs. I called to get it scheduled and was told they could get to her the next morning. The next morning I get a call telling me they can no longer come out and will have to reschedule... after asking what happened as I was depending on them they said they can't speak for the call service that schedules "their appointment." Was then transferred to who I assume is the owner and start discussing options he tells me that my GRANDMA should take a bar of soap and bottle of shampoo to the lake and it is not their problem!!!

Don’t fall for their blue light special membership. As a big supporter of small business this is a company with a big box store mindset. Poor customer service. Good luck ordering the “special” 24 hour guaranteed service; more like 24 days if you are lucky. On top of that you get a nice second grade calendar lesson from one of the representatives. We own several properties in Kings Cove and will be letting all the property owners and Table Rock community know of how they treat their clients.

Called this morning with a toilet leaking and needing a replacement. Erica and Ted showed up a few hours later and were completed and cleaned up within an hour. Incredible service. Thanks again!

What a difference a year has made with this company. Because I had used them in the past and their prices were reasonable, I called them to replace a heating element in the hot water heater, one of the more simple plumbing jobs. Because the female plumber had a problem breaking it loose, it took longer than usual, call it 90 minutes. The bill? $416!! Had I had both of them replaced, it would have been $629! I replaced the second one myself this morning in 30 minutes at a cost of $17 for the new element. I had a second plumber here today and asked him what he would have charged me. He said for an hour, it would have been $75 plus the parts cost or, about $95. That's a difference of $321! I will never use Top Hat Plumbing again.

I called Affluent Plumbing this morning and received same day service. Even with this C-19 pandemic threat!!
Jay and Scott arrived shortly after lunch time and worked to resolve our issues til 8:45 pm. Jay guaranteed he would fix it, and he cheerfully kept his promise using several impressive machines. Both of these guys were professional and respectful. They represented their Company in an outstanding manner. Was glad to have chosen Affluent Plumbing. Wonderful customer service skills! Thank you both for hanging in there for us!

This is the second time we have used Affluent Plumbing and much like the first they went above and beyond. We called to get a quote on installing a whole house water filter and they came out the same day to review the situation and give us our options and what they felt would work best for us and our current situation. Once we decided on which option we wanted they had a cancellation in their workday and came over and installed it the same day! Ted and his team are professional, honest and go above and beyond to help their clients. Thank you Ted!

Our hot water heater decided not to lite for us. Called late on a Friday and the lady was apologetic that it would be Monday before they could help. Not a problem, it was not an emergency. Luke called and came out on Monday morning. In just a few minutes, he had it up and running again. He was very professional, would definitely call again.

They were able to unclog the pipe and use the scoped snake to diagnose my problem. However, they charged $750. The scope they used I could have purchased for 300 from home depot.

Had the pump in my septic tank burn out so I called them as I’ve have used them before. They came out and replaced it and a float. Checked a week later and the breaker had tripped that runs the pump and alarm. They came back out and looked at it and said a wire was shorting out so they capped it. Well it was the pump hot lead so the pump would not come on and had come out of the terminal block and was just barely touching its connector in the T block. I shut the power off and cut it back to clean wire and reinserted it and tightened all the connections. That worked for a couple days till I went back out and it had tripped again. I reset it and noticed the float was down but the pump was still running. I had to bring the floats up almost 8” as it had slipped down from its clip. Has been working fine since then. So I do NOT recommend them at all. Charged me $2000 for me to have to redo their job myself. Now that I know how it works , I’ll fix it myself next time for WAY LESS !!
