Read moreJust partially finished up with STCM. The contract specifically stated what work was to be done. It was not done. It had snowed recently and and a small portion of the contract was missed. I spoke with the lead, Elijah, as I thought it not professional of me to rage at the workers. For thw record I did not rage at Elijah either. He looked at the incomplete portion of the contract and said, "We will fix it." That is all that needs to me said. Good job and I would recommend them in a Hillbilly's heartbeat. Nuf said! Malcohm
We recently had Sam the Concrete Man remove and replace our degraded aggregate resurfaced driveway. Elijah was very helpful in getting this project done for us in a timely manner. They took care of a few extra things we needed like bringing our sidewalk back up to proper level after it had sunk due to water issues. They also laid a couple pipes under our sidewalk for the downspout and lighting wires. Our project was not without a couple issues though. They offered 0% financing, but it didn't work exactly as advertised. The "financing" was actually though credit cards that offered the 0% as a promotional rate. The first credit card didn't give us the full amount because of some glitch. The second credit card did, but it didn't arrive in time. So, we had to split the payment, and now we have two accounts to deal with. The other issue was that there were two places where the sections didn't line up quite right, and there was a scratch on the surface. We wondered why, when they pulled the forms, they didn't see these imperfections and fix them before everything hardened. They did seem to be rushing to get our project done in one day. The financing issue was not their fault, so overall I think we would recommend Sam the Concrete Man. Just make sure you do your own inspections along the way.

Professional and quick we got a new patio in and Jimmy was great to work with! Top notch.
Great experience from beginning to end, from the initial estimate by Elijah through completion of the work. They widened our driveway and replaced a cracked segment of the old driveway. It looks great and I couldn't be happier.
Elijah and his team were great to work with from the initial quote to the final product. We're very happy with the work and would highly recommend them.
