Jacob is without a doubt one of the best if not the best electrician in the business. He was able to diagnose our problem quickly, suggest remedies, and quickly schedule us for repairs. He's on time, polite, works efficiently, and ensures whatever problem you had has been resolved. Prices are more than fair and I really appreciate the fact that he's local. Not just a local branch of a chain, but local local. That's important to me. Jacob has my business for life!

I was so appreciative that McClure Electrical Services fit us in for the very next day! The Tech Jacob was on time, very professional and extremely nice. After I explained to him what we had tried (changing fuses, switching breakers, etc.), he said okay where's the fuse boxes. It took him less than 10 mins to figure out the problem! He went and got what we needed and was back and fixed it in a flash! He made the entire family very happy and we are thankful. Also I must say it did not cost me as much as I thought it would. Just a wonderful company and wonderful people, I can not say enough good things about them. I would recommend McClure Electrical Services to anyone.

I had McClure out in the fall of '21 for a couple of quotes. Jacob made it out quickly and provided helpful feedback for the work I was interested in (panel upgrade). I finally got around to the panel upgrade this winter. After getting another quote, I decided on McClure based on my original experience, their reputation, and the price. I was able to get on their calendar right away. Kayla was great getting things set up, and speedy in her correspondence. Cody arrived on time and finished the upgrade (of our very dated Pushmatic!) after a morning of work. The new panel looks and works great. I am very pleased and would highly recommend McClure to anyone needing electrical work done. Thank you!

Looking for a GREAT ELECTRICIAN - McClure is it!
My garage door stopped working and I was told I needed a new one and it was on order. In the meantime, the lights went off in the middle of the night and only a few came back on and many of the outlets stopped working. After calling 5 other companies, I got lucky with McClure and I was able to get someone on the same day to come out. It also means a lot to me to have a local company. The issue was more involved than I realized, or reported. MY EXPERIENCE WAS GREAT.
Shelby, of McClure, is a true expert and gave above and beyond service. He fixed it. He was diligent and tenacious in digging into the issue, which existed all over my home and not just what I reported. He even advised on features to be energy efficient.
HE FIXED IT, ALL OF IT. Turns out the garage does not need to be replaced with a new opener and the electrical issue was evident earlier in my week but I didn't know it. He did an amazing job, keeping me updated as he investigated, checking all over house and every outlet. I have not lived here long so could not provide a lot of detail but he was patient and listened to the information that I did have.
Again, if you want a true professional with great skills - you will find it with McClure Electrical. We will have a lasting relationship since I need to have some outlets replaced and all the external lights have issues. I am glad to have them in my permanent list of contacts.

Brent & Cody did a great job. All of the McClure staff have maintained good communication with me for two jobs that I've now had them complete. All of the jobs on my list were done on time & they worked efficiently as a team. Did a good clean up once the job was complete. Brent did a walk through with me at the end of the job to see if I had any questions & to make sure I was satisfied with their work. I'm very pleased with all of the work they have done. Brent answered all of my questions & was happy to show me what was being done during the jobs. I will be using them again & I will be recommending them to my family & friends. Our experience with McClure Electrical Services was wonderful. We needed an old, hard-wired range disconnected and an outlet installed for a new range being delivered in a few days. Appointment times were two weeks out, but they gave us a next-day window to review the existing wiring and circuit. They had the most flexible scheduling of everyone we called. Shelby arrived on time and did an amazing job. Polite, professional, knowledgeable, and just an overall great person. He needed to confirm the amp rating for our new range, but our online specifications were confusing. He was amazingly patient as we discussed possible solutions, and he provided a clear explanation about the required work needed for each option. We used a ton of his time, but the estimate he provided was strictly for the outlet installation. The work was completed cleanly and efficiently and for a great price. When Shelby reviewed the installation with us, he showed us that he had added a plug to our old range, so we could still have a working range until the new one arrived. That level of customer service and kindness is rare. We will be recommending McClure Electrical Services to our neighbors and will definitely be calling them for any future projects.

Although the fitting of the new socket (silver) is done satisfactorily, I'm jus perplexed as to why he didn't match it with the existing one (white)? Tony also turned up half an hour late and my husband had to go out on business as he'd agreed to pick up some books leaving Tony to finish the job! Again I just can't understand why he fitted a silver socket when the other one is clearly in view right next to the doorway!

TLDR: Would never recommend McClure. Awful communication, no accountability, no “making things right” for their own mistakes.

Background and scenario:
I’m not sure what happened to this company, but we had McClure put three parking lot lights up at our church. Original install went okay in terms of timeliness, but they did not put rebar in the concrete bases. Just over a year after install was completed, a concrete base snapped in half completely causing the light to fall and become damaged. No ownership, no accountability, and no apologies from McClure. To top it off (trying to maintain support of local family owned businesses), they want us to pay another $2200 for them to fix their own mistake.

Putting all of this aside, it has been close to five months since they agreed to look at this, provide a quote, and complete “ASAP.”

Kayla McClure (owner) has had an excuse every time I ask for a status update. I have had to ask for updates over five times, and still nothing has been completed. I take that back, they put new concrete in, but didn’t position the bolts appropriately…so it has to be redone…again.

This was upwards of a $16,000+ job. Close to $20k including the repairs we need to have done.

Jacob was early for an appointment by 35 mins and then waited for us to arrive...amazing service and so nice/helpful. Excellent work, neat, efficient and A+ all around.

The appointment schedule was quick and helped to work into our schedule.

I was called within 24 hours to schedule a service that occurred 2 days later after I spent 2 weeks looking for an electrician who would call me back or perform the service before 2 weeks down the road. Jacob showed up after I was informed he could be there 2 hours prior to his scheduled time. He cut off electricity to an outlet on an island I wanted to remove, and replaced an outlet that was bad on the outside. This last service was not scheduled.

Jacob was professional, kind, and went out of his way to explain how things worked. Greatly appreciate him and his skills and highly recommend him to anyone who needs electrical work done!

Jacob was professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and did a great job installing an outlet and a whole home surge protector. The price was reasonable, and I've recommended McClure to my aunt. Give them a try - you won't be disappointed.

We had several different electricians look at what we thought was a straightforward task. Turns out they all had their own ideas of what to do and how much, one up to $5k (that guy only knew how to do new construction and messed up a simple breaker switch ... Jacob had to redo his work). Jacob was the one who knew not only, on his own without any prompting, what the others were trying to sell and why, but what they missed. He was able to connect dots and find solves no one else did, that were safe, and time and cost-effective. He's an excellent problem solver! Glad we found him. Everyone needs a great electrician they trust!
