We have been customers of Steve’s for over 30 years. They have always done excellent work at a reasonable price. The technicians are knowledgeable and courteous. We highly recommend them.

Unfortunately what we hoped would be a repair turned into a replacement. However Dylan and Alex did an excellent job with installation of the new unit and made sure everything was working correctly and took the time to go over all the new parts. I highly recommend Steve’s and much prefer to work with small businesses over the larger companies because Steve’s will tell you what you need and not try to upsell you into spending $25k. Then they’ll be back in a timely manner if you need them.

Our experience with Steve’s is always positive and informative. Josh and Dylan know our systems and maintain them very well. We have always received top notch service! We highly recommend Steve’s for all your HVAC needs.

A HUGE thank you to Josh, Dylan! You all were a blessing this week! After 19 years, in the middle of August, the AC unit needed to be replaced. It was 90+ temps and we had been without AC for 7 days. Josh laid out the HVAC system that would work best for the house & budget. Dylan & Alex installed it the very next day. Everyone was helpful, kind & took time to answer questions. They had wonderful follow-up and follow through! Thank you again!!

Steve’s Heating and Cooling have always been a pleasure to work with and do business with. Service technician Bryan is so friendly and does a fantastic job. The service manager Josh is always incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. I feel like my HVAC unit is in good hands with them and I plan on using their services for the years to come.

I have really enjoyed working with Steve's to support HVAC needs on our rental property. When another provider called for the replacement of a larger and more expensive part, Steve's was able and willing to replace a smaller component at a fraction of the cost. When it came time to replace our entire system, it was the obvious choice to go with Steve's. They always answer the phone and make it out in a timely manner. Highly recommend!

We called Steve’s Heating and Cooling when we could not convert our air conditioning to heat. We originally called the company who installed the unit and because we weren’t on their maintenance plan their visit could not be guaranteed until November.
Steve’s service technician was out within the hour. What was originally diagnosed as needing a new motor, we had just put the system in 3 years ago, Josh discovered a nest of birds…several, to be honest! Josh patiently assisted my husband by blowing the nest and birds out, without the required equipment going through the ceiling and saving us a ton of money and time!
So impressed with the office and service staff that they have found very loyal customers for the future! Will get a maintenance program AND a vent from preventive maintenance!

This is the 2nd time in 20+ years I’ve used Steve’s Heating and Cooling. Dylan (Technician) did the service work. My A/C went out in August and Dylan tried a fix before recommending a replacement. When that didn’t work, Dylan explained the difference in the units they carried & the price points. By working with me, Dylan helped me find the best system for my needs.
Installation was scheduled for about a week out due to delivery time. Dylan was prompt (earlier) than expected and completed the job early. I’m very pleased with the service, product, and professionalism I received from Dylan and his teammate that did my work. I highly recommend this local business! They also do system checkups and seasonal maintenance.

Long story short ... I spent a month researching (Elon Musk's AI GROK is unbelievably helpful) and finally drilled down from three companies toTRANE and then their sister company American Standard. i talked to 6 different HVAC companies. I was told I didn't need to have new lines, although that's what I wanted because of too many (yearly Freon leaks.) They have a new freon again and the new freon requires new lines. Some HVACs were going to upcharge me for not reusing my lines. I went with Steve's Heating and Air in Riverside. Thanks to GROK, I was educated by the search. I HAD A BUDGET AND STEVE'S CAME IN $2,000 UNDER MY BUDGET SO I asked how much the next level up would be. They installed today. I am so happy that I kept looking. They've been in business since 1979 and are family owned. I was not interested in any that had sold their business to private equity companies. ONe LAST THING ... THIS IS THE LAST YEAR TO GET INCOME TAX CREDITS FOR NEW HVACS. CHECK OUT STEVE'S HEATING AND AIR in the Kansas City area (Riverside).

Bryan came in teaching an apprentice on my furnace issue. The knowledge Bryan has is unreal and the apprentice was quick and smart. I have no doubt the next generation at this company will be as good as the current

Dylan did a great job inspecting and servicing our furnace. It’s a brand new house and we are not that familiar with our system. We received zero info from the builder on how to operate/maintain it, so it was great to have Dylan go through it all and answer my questions. He was very thorough and knowledgeable. We have used Steve’s Heating & Cooling several times before at our previous residence, and always have a great experience. Highly recommend them!

Dylan is AMAZING!! We loved how he took the time to explain what he did so it made sense, then he emailed the invoice for our records. The A/C was spotless after he finished servicing it. Receiving a text with his picture and credentials before he even arrived was awesome so we knew who to expect at the door. The professional vehicle he drove also gave us confidence in the calibre of his workmanship. We feel the price is fair for the service we received. Thanks Dylan!!

Steve's Heating and Cooling is a very reliable company. They sent Dillan, Josh and Alex today to install a high efficiency heat pump in my cellar to replace a 30 year old furnace that was failing. Not only they were ahead of schedule, but they worked extremely hard to install my new heat pump. They were very focused, and worked non-stop all day. They were knowledgeable polite and friendly. They answered all my questions ( I had many) The system is up and running well. They are awesome and I highly recommend this company.

I used Steve's 15 plus years ago to install a new system at a house in the Northland. I was very happy when they expanded their area and actually service Lenexa now. I used them again recently as we needed a new system at our new house. Their techs are all professional and never try to pressure sell anything.

The 2 young men who replaced my hot water heater were very good. They were very friendly, and professional! They came in went straight to work got the job done and cleaned up as if they were not there! I would recommend Steve’s heating and cooling highly to anyone who needs work done! Good job!

Steve's was great. Came recommended, and didn't disappoint. Family owned company, and you can tell. Bryan came out less than 24 hours after I called them about my broken furnace, and the new one was installed the next day. Price was fair, and Bryan was a mensch. 10/10, recommend.
