My garage door wouldn't open. I called for a service appointment and the technician arrived within the hour. He determined the problem and corrected it. The belt had failed and even though it was under warranty through the manufacturer, it would've taken a week to get the replacement. So unfortunately, I had to buy a belt to get the problem fixed that evening. I did call the manufacturer and they shipped me a new belt. It would be nice if I could exchange the brand new belt that I receive for a partial rebate on the cost of the work that was done.

They were to be here at noon and now they said 1 pm. Notified me 10 minutes before noon and apparently they have no concern about my time!

Rick was responsive (for a smaller job like ours - that's really saying something!), very fair, and did quality work. He gave us a price that we were pleasantly surprised by, and he seemed pained to even quote as much as he did. We had a slight depression in the middle of our slab which he was able to level out, which wasn't necessarily something he was planning on. He is friendly, educated, and a very hard worker who genuinely seems to care about the work he's doing. And he's even good conversation. Nicely done, sir.

Very pleased with the repair service to our garage door...the bottom right side roller had slipped out of the door bracket, got stuck in a cocked position which then slightly bent the roller frame and the actual door panels.
The repair man was courteous and very knowledgeable...the roller was repositioned, the roller guide frame was bent back to the correct position.
Luckily the door panels that were slightly starting to bend went back into a flat position.
After two weeks, there have been no further problems.
A very reasonable repair charge, there was no pressure in suggesting unnecessary additional parts were required.
They will get our repeat business in the future.
Honest repair work at an honest price.Official response from representative 08.09.2026 13:11This is great! Thanks so much for giving us such a thoughtful review, Richard! My garage door would, intermittently, not close. Finally reaching the last straw, I contacted Overhead Door and was happy that a same-day appointment was available. The technician did a thorough job of troubleshooting and identified the likely problem. He fixed it, as well as a minor installation error (which had not affected its operation) done by whoever installed the opener 15 years ago. Throughout, he was friendly, explained what he was doing, and answered questions clearly. This was over a week ago, and I have been very happy with the results.
Official response from representative 02.09.2026 13:32Excellent! Thanks so much for giving us such a thoughtful review, Mark! We appreciate your recognition and will do our best to keep up the great work. We're here for you anytime! -
This post isnt about a restaurant experience or a product review. It's about how you can fall for a scam very easily. I have owned the poorest wireless printer I've ever used. Nothing but consistenly falling off line. When it was impossible, I phoned "HP" to see if it could be repaired. I spoke to the "support line" and via my cell gave permission to access the printer. The guy really seems to know his stuff! And lo and behold he got it back online and printing. He said he would call me the next night to see if all was well. I really did not know because I didnt need to print anything. But he said he was calling back to check, so I figured I should test it iut before he calls! Lo and behold, the printer is totally dead. The man whi initially helped was, of course, Indian. I called "HP support" and a different man answered who couldn't transfer me to my "guru guy ." I tell him the printer is now dead so he asks camera permission to watch me unplug/re-plug, and unplug the printer. He is satisfied and said he'd send a "new printer" but it must be the same printer. He goes through this litany about how i will use the same bix to return the dead printer. But here is where these scammers fail. He tells me i have to pay $1.00 for processing. "Excuse me...a company the ilk kf HP wants a dollar?" l get angry at this point that I have trusted the super nice Indian man from HP. So I get the return phone call from Guru man. I tell him about this inane convo and he asked for a dollar on a CC! Guru guy agrees and says "yes that's really ridiculous. I tell him guy #2 actually wanted to send fhe same model (which I finally got him to tell me it is refurbished, but he agreed instantly it would be brand new). Guru says no no I will srnd you a new upgraded printer. I'm at this point where I realize this is not legit. So I call another "HP Suppkrt number. This time it is a lady. I tell her about the $1 deal and SHE says "oh yes, that is not unusual to ask for $1 I yell at her how she and her cohorts are scammers and they will be reported." Word spread to guru man the jig was up. Still, he calls again and I don't answer and block the number, which came through incidentally on caller ID the first 2 letters of this scam company is actually "ID." Be aware if you are an HP customer. Though I specified all 3 of the contacts were Indian, I am not racist against any person, regardless of nationality, skin color, etc. I know so many lovely people who we have met in our travels. But these scammers of Indian descent are giving a black eye to the many wonderful people who are honest, warm people. I may be close to 80 yrs old but I still have some wits about me. Be suspicious! These people were gentle and polite. Pay close attention.

I recently had Select Fencing replace the 6' privacy fence around my property, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Since my house sits on a double lot with an automatic gate, this was a fairly involved project, so I got bids from three different companies before deciding who to hire.
Casey Arnold, the owner, stood out from the start. He was personable and easy to work with, and his bid was not only the most competitive of the three but also by far the most detailed. Where the other estimates were vague, Casey's spelled out specifics like post depth, the amount of concrete used, the type of fasteners, and hand-picked lumber. That level of transparency gave me real confidence going into the project.
Casey and his crew showed up on time and worked with genuine care throughout -- both tearing out the old fence and installing the new one. They were mindful of my landscaping as well as my neighbor's, and nothing was damaged in the process. The finished fence looks fantastic -- the top line is perfectly level from end to end, which really shows the attention to detail that went into it. The whole job was also completed on schedule.
If you're looking for a local, small business that combines fair pricing with real craftsmanship and professionalism, I'd recommend Select Fencing without hesitation. -
I'm not even sure where to start. If you are looking for a home inspection service look no further. It's hard to find someone these days that does their job right. Norm this one's for you. I'm not sure How you put up with all of my questions and never got discouraged. You answered every one of them until I had no more and explained it so thoroughly. You put up with all of my phone calls even on the weekends and evenings not once getting discouraged. It's hard to find somebody who cares about what they do and actually cares about the people. I would've never made it through this process without you and all of your knowledge. I don't have a lot of experience in buying homes and what to look for. I am so grateful that you do what you do. You were aware of things that the real estate agents weren't. I will be forever grateful you saved me $190,000. I LOVE nice people. A big thank you to Larry too. .
Official response from representative 21.07.2026 00:06Thank you so much, Tina! I really enjoy working with people who need my help and your questions were great. It's what we do - solving the Scooby-Doo mysteries of houses LOL. Best of luck with your future home purchase - looking forward to working with you in the future! -
Had a Silver Maple tree crash through our house on Saturday. Nick stopped and removed the tree from atop the roof and cleared the deck. Big mess......

My garage door was making rattling and popping noises in November so I called overhead garage door company to service it. I didn't follow him around and he was here about 30 minutes then the door seemed quieter when he left.
In the meantime I've noticed the door would open unevenly with the left side lifting higher for a little bit then the right but it eventually opened . As time went on that was followed by a certain popping sounds so I called overhead garage door last week monday.
A man came out and he was here a solid hour and I checked on him often. Offering him water and asking him how it's going and he seem to be very busy and efficient. Two days later my garage door made a huge popping sound and the top panel was hanging over my vehicles.
One wheel had popped out completely and shot across the garage thankfully not hitting my vintage car I just painted but the garage door couldn't be moved. I had plans that day but still I called them and they came out and a third started the repair.
Eventually he told me that the garage door was too light for the spring it had on it and he had to put weighted bottom frames underneath each panel. After he did that he told me the rod underneath the spring was broken and you'd have to replace that.
I asked him why the first two guys I had out didn't know any of that and he said well there are different levels of experience. If I'd have been out here in November that have been fixed the first time.
Which left me to wonder if this gentleman come out the first time would i had not needed the rod replaced. He said all I'll say is if I had to come out the first time you wouldn't have to call back two more times.
I've never used this company before but all I can say is if you want to use them make sure you ask for the most experienced technician they got . Definitely save a lot of time and money if nothing else.Official response from representative 30.06.2026 15:48Hi, Mark! We sent you a private message to try and gain some contact information from you. We are not familiar with an experience like this one, and do not show any recent service with a customer under this name. We want to make sure we're not being confused with another company with a similar name. Please respond to our direct message so we can look into this further. Thanks so much! -
Stop your search - this is your countertop team! I can't say enough amazing things about our experience at Absolute StoneCraft. From the selection process with Sara, to the ordering process with Anita to the install process with Jesie + Andrew, the entire Absolute team was kind, knowledgeable, responsive and punctual. This seamless experience was BY FAR the best part of our bathroom remodel. I'd hire them again in a heartbeat!

No call no show on appointment for bid. Contacted the business over two hours after appointment and was told contractor was busy on lunch and would be by after that. Told them not to bother.
Official response from representative 19.06.2026 20:44Hi Mr, Jason sorry for the inconvenience when we scheduled the estimate for 12:00 PM, you mentioned that the contractor could stop by at any time. I explained that the contractor had an inconvenience, was running behind, and that he was on his lunch break. I let you know that he would stop by after that, but you said not to bother!!! -
We recently used Brioni Granite for quartz countertops in our kitchen and two bathrooms, and we couldn't be more pleased with the experience!
From start to finish, their customer service was exceptional. Communication was excellent, they showed up exactly when they said they would for measuring and installation, and everything stayed on schedule.
The craftsmanship and attention to detail were outstanding, and our countertops turned out beautiful. The finished product exceeded our expectations and has completely transformed our spaces.
We highly recommend Brioni Granite to anyone looking for quality workmanship, professionalism, and a company that truly delivers on its promises. -
Nathan is absolutely wonderful to work with. He is thorough in his work, professional, and prompt and detailed with his communication. He did interior plaster repairs, interior and exterior painting, touched up cabinets and wood floors, and more to get a vacant home that fell into disrepair livable again. Highly recommend.

Couldnt be more pleased with the service and fencing we received through Select Fencing. We ran into many obstacles with the logistics of our property, and Casey handled it all with ease. It is so clear that he cares about his customers! Throughout the whole process we were in constant contact, and he was always quick to respond. The fence turned out amazing and our dogs are absolutely loving it. If you need a fence built, this is the company for you!

Beckner did two major painting jobs at my church. They were very professional to work with and did a great job.

I'm took a 6-week stained glass class here and it was great! The teacher was knowledgeable and I felt very comfortable asking any questions. The class size is small and the other students had various degrees of experience but it seemed like we were all pretty successful. The big bonus is to be able to see all the beautiful pieces of stained glass hanging in the shop and to see other pieces in various states of construction or repair. There is an enormous inventory of glass to purchase plus lots of other supplies!

I met with Helen Lee to do a site visit on a property I was considering buying. What struck me more than anything was her deep knowledge of the building (she has designed in the building before) and her ideas for making the space livable for the way I want to live through my retirement years. Of course she was professional but she was also compassionate and caring. It was clear to me that she wanted to use her skills to design a space I would be more than happy with.

Too many small pieces for small children. Is there an age preference or preferred minimum age. Do you do parties?
