J&L did a HORRIBLE job servicing my air conditioner. Coolant was added but he did not bother to clean the filthy unit. Actually the motor was going out making a horrible racket - which he "fixed" by putting a 5 gallon bucket on top of the air conditioner. J&L said he did not know how long my unit would last and quoted me $7000 for a new one. I was then charged $175. Two days later, my ca was again blowing only tepid air. At this time I called another heating and cooling company (Pence Appliance) who fixed the problem like it should have been fixed in the first place!

I have used J&L Cooling for over a decade. They have replaced both my furnace and a/c over the years, and their bids beat everyone elses by a mile! They put a new furnace in my sister's house last year for $1500 and it has worked great, with lowered utility bills. J&L is always professional and prompt, and one time drove to Olathe to pick up a part same day to get my heating back up and did not add to the quote. When my furnace went out in the middle of a cold winter night (cracked manifold, origina. with house, not new one), J& L had a new one installed the very next day. I have recommended this company to many friends and family, and all have been very pleased with the service.
