Karen, Larry, Dylan and the crew of Chris and Zach worked closely to make sure everything was done right and on time. They were very responsive and reliable and were there on time every day to complete the work in a professional manner. Karen did a great job of creating the landscaping ideas to make the best use of a small space. No extra costs at the end. We knew exactly what the job was going to cost before it started. I'd highly recommend the team at Timberline!

Timberline, their designer and installers turned my very sloped backyard into a lovely space with a large flat area for play, dining or leisure. They regraded and planted beautiful natives below my terraced area to help mitigate any erosion from the previous slope. I was shown drawings for approval and given an overview of what the new space would look like and how it would function. They have returned to check on the plant material and sod. The company has been responsive to any concerns I have had, even after the job was complete.

We started working with Brad the day after we closed on the purchase of our home. The landscaping around the existing patio was overgrown and steps down to the pool had no railing and were very narrow due to overgrown shrubs. In addition, the shrubs in the pool area were so overgrown there wasn't room to walk around it and no where to sit. Bottom line, we had to start over. With Brad's design we added an additional area off the existing patio for a fire table. The steps were cleared and a beautiful railing was added to the steps from the new area down to the pool. At the pool, we added an area for table and chairs plus storage. Finally we added two new walkways - one in place of a mulched flagstone path and another down the side of the house. And then came all the new plantings. Brad added lots of color and low maintenance shrubs and plants. We have a few projects left but now we're able to enjoy our beautiful new yard. We are using the Timberline bi weekly maintenance program which has been great. We miss Ellen who was our go to last year but has since been promoted. But she's in charge so we still have the benefit of her oversight.

I don’t think we can overstate how pleased we are with the results of our landscaping project. From Brad our landscape designer, Brent our project manager, to Harrison the lead landscaper. I had my small city lot backyard completely redone from scratch, with french drain and buried downspouts, a new paver patio and walkway, garden design and planting and sod. They worked with my for the few hiccups that came up along the way, the install team of Salvador, Lupe, & Rafael were great, worked seemingly sunup to sundown every day, mended a fence for me also which was not in the plan, and the yard looks great! No more water draining into my garage either! Excited for the spring/fall when the plants come to life.

All told it was about 7 months from their initial visit until the yard was done. They were the first to come out in April to look at the property (of the 6 companies that I had look at the project, 3 didn’t even provide quotes) and Timberline was the highest quote I received but based on my meeting with them, their reviews and reputation, I trusted them to do it right and I am very satisfied with the outcome and do not regret that decision. Most impressively, there was a small part of the patio that after it was laid I didn’t like the shape of, and they were able to rework the pavers at that area despite not having additional to soften the curve and it looks seamless.

I accepted with them end of May, had the initial design in August, and they were planning to start in October but it was delayed a few weeks as I had to have a tree removed, and for another week due to the fall monsoons. Even with that, they started about 2 weeks before I had expected, it took the crew 2 and a half weeks to complete, and I was able to enjoy the yard for a week or two before the first snowstorm came in.

The only immediate issue was perhaps a slight lack of paver sand but I expect them to be out soon once it dries to get that corrected.

We called on Timberline Landscapes to rework our front and side yards this past summer. Margo Kinstler did a fantastic job of providing multiple detailed designs for the space. Margo exhibited patience and provided wonderful suggestions in helping us to decide exactly what we wanted in our landscaping.

We ultimately decided to replace all of our existing landscaping with a new and fresh look, including wired accent lighting along the front pathway. Both Harrison and Errion worked tirelessly to remove the existing landscaping and to bring the new plans to life. They were always professional and timely, and we really appreciate their willingness to work so hard during a very warm week!

When we made the decision to start a major renovation in our backyard, we knew trusting someone with our vision and our budget to create what we wanted required us to pick the right company. Our choice was made easy when we selected Timberline Landscapes.
We know the owner, Brian Pfotenhauer, and trusted him because of not only a personal relationship, but more about his integrity and professionalism with each project his company has created. Our project included the replacement of a wooden deck with concrete pavers, the addition of a grilling area, a walkway from the garage to the backyard and creating a rock garden on our hillside that was overrun with weeds and way too much poison ivy.
The project team, comprised of Brad Furfaro, Director of Design, Brent Hance, Director of Install Operations and Ben Ortinau, Design Assistant, walked us through the entire process in detail, and were involved the entire time. Every question, change in what we envisioned and additions to our project, was made easier because of this team. Incredible customer service that ensured our vision was exactly what we wanted.
What impressed us the most was the team assigned to us. Mike, Daryl, and Noah were absolutely the best we could have hoped for. Their work ethic, commitment to excellence, desire to deliver exactly what we envisioned was most impressive. They just worked so hard, efficiently and created an absolute paradise we will enjoy for many years. Their recommendations on changes to our project were invaluable. Thank you, Mike, Daryl, and Noah, for all your hard work and what you have created for us. Also, thank you for caring for my wife when she needed you all. Words cannot express my gratitude.
In conclusion, we could not recommend Timberline Landscapes higher than after the completion of our project. We referred several of our friends for their landscape needs, and we would encourage you as well to contact Timberline Landscapes.

Joe the owner and his crew are Flat out good! They're all very knowledgeable about what they're doing and they're clean about it. I'm impressed and I'm Picky when it comes to cleaning up after the job is completed.

Good Company all around from Management to employees.

This business uses almost exclusively foreign labor so the owner can undercut businesses that employ Americans. Use American labor.

This how SFP left a lot with elderly people cars block in . Very unprofessional plow job . This is unacceptable and shows that they have a staff that has no clue on proper lot management. Would not recommend there services to anyone.

We recently agreed to move forward with a large project of our entire yard landscape - backyard retaining wall, pavers, side yard courtyard, new front walk and boulder wall and soon to come driveway. The work and craftsmanship completed by SFP and the design by Kerman Raines has been nothing but spectacular! We are so overly pleased and appreciative. Our friends watched the progress of the project and were in awe of the transformation. Great work, great people, great design. We highly recommend this company and its staff!!!!

We have used SFP Landscaping for large projects such as pool patio/waterfall design and installation as well as smaller jobs like choosing, placing and planting trees in our back yard. They have done an amazing job on each of these! Kerman Raine's design work is really top notch with great videos that allow the customer to see exactly what they are signing up for. The finished projects are as beautiful as the videos! The workmanship is excellent. They come when they are scheduled, complete work quickly and stand by the work that they have done. We recommend them to everyone because we have had so many outstanding experiences with the company.

Called to get an estimate on a small decorative retaining wall for the front of our new home. Unfortunately, they will only come to look at the job for $350.00. No thanks, I'll go elsewhere

Karen, Salvador, and the team were excellent to work with as we built a new detached garage and landscaped our backyard. They had excellent ideas for Missouri native plants and drainage solutions to account for slope and rainwater. Always so responsive and creative. Highly recommend.
