First off, Denny the salesman who came to our house to talk over HVAC was very friendly and very knowledgable. It didn’t try n sell us anything we didn’t need. The price was great and we made an appt to get it all put in a week later, which was today 9/20/24. The 2 guys came on time and got right to work. I didn’t even hear them in the basement. My husband came in the room and I ask him hv they started? He said they’ve already taken the old stuff out and are outside putting the unit up. Then came bk in and they installed the new system. Then came upstairs and put in the new thermostat n showed us how to use it. They came at 7 n 7:30 and Denny said it would probably be an all day job like till 3:00 but they were done by 11:30. Very nice guys and great workers. Jessie in the office was really friendly too when she called us. Now we just hv to hv Ofallon come out and inspect it. I would highly recommend Welsch for all your HVAC needs. ☺️ Chris & Paul Heitert

My furnace and AC unit were in desperate need of replacing; both were old and the AC had stopped working. Welsch had originally installed the furnace and AC unit in my home and I had been happy with their work for the maintenance calls I'd done previously so I called to get a quote. Denny came out to take measurements and discuss my options on Thursday. He was very thorough and professional; he made sure I understood everything and made recommendations that would be appropriate for my home and get me the best value for what we needed. The price he got us was very fair. They had the parts we needed in stock and got everything installed two days after told them we wanted to go ahead with it. The installation went smoothly, nothing got banged up, and now my house is a livable, comfortable temperature again! I'm extremely pleased with the service we received from Welsch and would recommend them to anyone needing HVAC work done.

Welsch just installed a new HVAC system at my house. The project manager I worked with, Denny, was great. He focused on keeping my price low, he answered my questions thoroughly, and he was even friendly and fun to talk to. My new AC is keeping my house way more comfortable, and I’m confident that I got a good value on it too. I’ll be glad to work with Welsch again in the future.

Excellent experience. AC went out on a hot day and Alex J made it out same day and fixed the problem in 10 minutes. Highly recommend.

My A/C went out over the weekend. I called this morning to make an appointment. Since I have their annual maintenance service, my service call was prioritized. They arrived in less than 3 hours, fixed the problem and I now have A/C again. Michael, the Tech, was thorough and prompt. I am so glad to have Welsch as my HVAC provider.

What an amazing experience. I came home and found out that my fan was not working on my AC (which is only 4 years old). Called after hours number. She was wonderful taking my information and the service tech Greg called me within 10 minutes. I was able to get emergency call out service (which of course is never cheap) but he was here within the hour. He was so kind and explained the problem with my motor - replaced it and showed me the amps that was so low and it was bad. He replaced it in 5 mins and he double checked my Freon level and all good. He was so awesome and had the best attitude!!! I can’t say enough! Thank you

Welsch replaced the geothermal air conditioning unit in our condominium home. The installation was complicated by the extremely limited space above the ceiling. They custom built the unit to make sure that it fits properly they built and installed the unit ahead of schedule and on budget. We were very pleased. I cannot say enough about the service technicians care for our belongings, protection of the flooring, and overall friendliness for the days we were there. I would certainly recommend using Welsch. They simply did an exceptional job.

I had a good experience with this company! Robert Parnell was extremely kind and answered all my questions. Out of all the companies that gave me quotes, it seemed like Welsh had people who loved their job. He was detailed and gave me three different quotes and his care and attention to detail is what sold me. I got a quote yesterday and they had me in luckily by 7:00am this morning. 😁 the technicians that installed it were also extremely professional and left the place better than when they came. I genuinely forgot our technicians name, but I hope and am sure everyone is on the same level as him. Thank you guys 😄

I live in an older home that still has its original furnace/ac. I was looking to have them replaced and I knew it would take significant work to upgrade the whole system. Dylan from Welsch was invaluable to me through the whole process. Very knowledgeable about his equipment and what it would take to get it installed correctly in my home. I appreciate having someone be honest with me about what it would take and providing a detailed itemized bill so I could make the right choice in equipment. If you need to have work done to your furnace or ac I would at least consider Welsch when reaching out to companies. They treated me better than most.

We have enjoyed every interaction we have had with this company! We have really appreciated the great service we’ve gotten from this company. The last technician who came to our house, Mike B, was exceptional in every way, worked happily in the rain to service our unit, and was extremely helpful in explaining everything to us. He was also careful to wear shoe covers in our house, cleaned up everything behind himself, and even took the time to replace the batteries in our thermostat as well as clean weeds out of our AC unit. Amazing service! As a woman, I also really appreciate that Welsch provides the name of the tech who is coming out ahead of time. I have always felt safe with their techs in my home! Thanks Welsch!

We had an appointment on Wednesday for a regular maintenance check. On Sunday evening our furnace stopped working so Monday morning we called and they sent Donnie, he not only fixed the problem he did the regular maintenance while he was here. Donnie is also very personable and friendly. Good job!

Steve arrived on time and was engaging and so kind. He thoroughly checked all of our outdoor AC units and cleaned them out. He did all work inside and explained what he was doing. He cleaned out our dryer vent for us as well. He explained that we had a capacitor with a pretty low reading, and he changed it out. We have used Welsh Heating & Cooling for many years and in the past few years got Steve as our new tech, and so happy we did. We would highly recommend Steve at Welsch to anyone.

All of the employees that I dealt with were extremely professional and were willing to work with my busy schedule. Steve, who did the repair, was extremely knowledgeable and made sure that I understood what was wrong with the unit and what he needed to do to repair it. Now my system is working perfectly. I highly recommend Welsch Heating and Cooling.

The service tech (Colin) that has been helping us with our AC has been fantastic! He is very kind, responsive, knowledgeable, and has went above and beyond to help us get our unit fixed. You can tell he really cares. Great customer service!

I learned a very important lesson this week: A family with a strong woman needs the quiet man to speak up... occasionally... Let me explain....

We bought this house in 2021 that was built in 2000. It was previously owned by an independent, single, strong woman. She was a federal judge. She remodeled the kitchen, living room, bedrooms and bathrooms. She did a great job. Then she sold it to a family run by a strong, business woman (we know, because she happens to be a friend). A strong, business woman, female dominant family bought the house from her. Yes, my family (I married the Asian version of my mother). My wife immediately went to work remodeling the house. We had the deck and back patio enlarged, with steps added. We added an office to the basement and put new flooring and paint throughout. We had the whole upstairs repainted, as well as the garage and garage floor coated. Bottom line is we have spent a lot of $$ doing all this. So why do I tell you this?

Well... UP UNTIL TODAY THE HOUSE STILL HAD IT'S ORIGINAL A/C & FURNACE! It had so many hack jobs on it that I started calling it "Frankin-Furnice." Because everytime it broke down the "strong" women would get the cheapest laborer in here to hack away to get it "blowing" again. The previous owner tried to tell me her home warranty put a whole new unit in. They did not. They only put a new coil in. BTW... Home Warranties are always a ripoff! They get the cheapest labor in to do a hack job.

So after spending this whole week panting around the house with my pugs, and 10 fans running, because our AC was out again, I put my foot down: "NO! We need a whole new unit this time!" (I found it is a lot easier to win arguments with your wife when she is in Brazil).

I called Welsch Heating & Cooling yesterday and they put in a new unit this morning. Now I sit in a nice cool home, worry free and functioning just how it should be. If you live in St Louis and need a new AC, give Welsch a call. This is the second install they put in one of our units and they do a superb job.

We contacted Welsch to give us an estimate on running some duct work in our basement as we are finishing it. Denny came out and took a look and had some really great ideas about how to set everything up. We had a very clear idea of the work that was to be done. We hired them and the HVAC guy that came out was phenomenal (sorry I cannot remember his name). He knew exactly what Denny proposed and where everything was going. And he did everything in around three hours. To top it all off, the price was very reasonable. Very grateful for the team at Welsch and they will be our go to for any future HVAC needs. Thank you all!!

Called John Welsch after business hours to fix my AC Unit. It was 100° outside and John talked me through how to troubleshoot it because he couldn’t repair until morning. Not only did he tell me how to fix it but where to get the part and in less than 45 minutes I had everything back up and working. Highly recommend calling John if you have any issues with your AC. Super helpful.
