I reached out to sewer doctor for a sewer inspection on a house my client was purchasing. They were early, which I always appreciate, thorough and very informative. I had the opportunity to work with Jordan on the first round and John arrived for our follow up inspection. They both have a knack for putting clients at ease, whether it be the seller or buyer. My client wasn’t able to be there, so Jordan made sure to take me through the process so I can better inform my buyer of any potential issues.
The seller obviously wasn’t the happiest that we would ask for anything to be done in this market, but as soon as John arrived he put everyone at ease with his charm and obvious good looks. He knows how to make you feel like family with a simple hello, but after seeing pictures of his drop dead gorgeous wife, Michelle, I know exactly where his son, Jordan got his good looks from!

The Sewer Doctors was one of my go-to service providers when I was in real estate. Since I've retired, they have remained a trusted resource. Recently, Benjamin Franklin Plumbing - using a "free" sewer line camera inspection - quoted me over $21,000 to have roots ground out, a repair of the line and an epoxy lining of the entire sewer line. That seemed excessive to me, so a second opinion from Jordan revealed 3 areas of roots that need to be hydro-jetted out and no need to do any type of repair.

Definitely worth the money spent!

We hired The Sewer Doctors for a sewer line camera inspection, and they performed the inspection quickly and professionally. The job was complete in 20 minutes, and the inspector walked me through what he had found, provided a maintenance recommendation, and emailed me a video and a report. Honestly, exactly what I wanted from an inspection.
The reason I hired them in the first place was because they were one of the only companies actually willing to tell me a price when I called them. Meanwhile, I called 3 other plumbing companies, and all of them refused to even give me a range of what it might cost, saying they would only tell me after they send someone out. I know that is a recipe for high pressure sales tactics, and I was not interested in that kind of business behavior.

The Sewer Doctors did a phenomenal job on my personal home! We had a clean bill of health for our sewer line and Justin was very efficient in completing the clean out. Despite having to freeze outdoors since my clean out entrance was on the exterior of my home, Justin had a positive attitude and didn't complain at all. I’m very pleased with the service I received from the sewer doctors. The administrative staff were friendly and happily answered all of my questions. John arrived right at appointment time, greeted me enthusiastically, and thanked me for my business. I already felt like a valued customer. John explained everything as he performed the video inspection and line locate with no attempt to upsell. The inspection report I received was very thorough. We called The Sewer Doctors to get a second opinion on a sewer repair after having our drain cleaned and inspected by another company.

What we should have done is called The Sewer Doctors to begin with. I mistakenly thought they only did inspections but no, they also do cleaning.

Justin was very helpful in showing us exactly what our drain looked like from stack to the street and back again. He gave us tips on what to do now and in the future for maintenance on our drain system.

Had we needed repair work done (The drain was not in the poor condition another company told us it was in.) The Sewer Doctors were willing to help us find a repair service to do the job.

The BEST drain cleaners in the KC metro. Had 3 other usual big name plumbers out for a commercial sewer backup. The usual suspects wanted a LOT more and couldn’t figure out the problem. Sewer Doctors cleaned out our line and was very thorough to make sure they got all the tree roots out of the line. Not only did they do a great job, but they were also 1/2 the price of the competition. Highly recommend Jordan and the Sewer Doctor crew for any drain issue. They are honest and awesome.

Jordan and John are truly salt of the earth people who are experts at what they do. In fact, everyone at Sewer Doctors are down to earth and were great to work with!
I had the sewer line cleaned by another company, who came out to auger away the roots, only to still experience backups unfortunately. I then decided to have Jordan come out and he sent a camera down to inspect the line and see it's condition. Unfortunately my line still had plenty of roots throughout. He encouraged me to reach out to the original company to see if they would come back out and clean it again, however I felt way more comfortable asking the Sewer Doctors to come back an hydro-jet my line. They came back the same week and the experience was fantastic. I never felt pressured or "scared" at any point. They told me their true professional opinions and were even eager to show me their process and results etc. Definitely recommend these guys.

We were having issues with our main sewer line. We had Hamilton come out and snake it to open the line up. They scoped it when it was done and told us we needed to replace all the lines, with a price tag around 18K. Luckily, we had someone recommend The Sewer Doctors to clean the line of all the roots. The Sewer Doctors were amazing from the first call and all through the process of cleaning the line. We avoided a hefty replacement by just truly cleaning the line. We will maintain it with some Root X and hoping not have to replace the main lines for YEARS! I could not recommend this company enough. I was so pleased by their customer service and seemed like they truly cared for the me more than just a customer they were getting money from. Highly, Highly recommend.

I had the Sewer Doctor out last week to check out my main drain. They were very honest, were able to hydro jet the main line. I had 2 other companies try to tell me I need the lines dug up all the way to the street to fix it. The cost was between 10 and 12 thousand dollars. I am so glad I didn't listen to them and called The Sewer Doctor. $600.00 I will never use anyone else again because they are the best. Super nice, friendly, reasonable prices and honest.

We are in the process of selling our home and found that we had a large tree root in the sewer lines that needed to be cleaned out. When contacting other companies, they would not provide any upfront pricing. My realtor recommends we contact The Sewer Doctors as she has heard good things from other homeowners who have used their services in the past. This was the best choice we could have made. Not only did they take care of the issue quickly, but they were also very friendly, and willing to allow me to geek out and watch the process so I could learn a bit more about the process and equipment they use. It really is fascinating. It is always my preference to support local companies when looking for service providers, therefore it was the icing on the cake to find out that they are a local family owned and operated business, that provides very fair upfront pricing! No one likes to have to call people for a sewer scope, but I would recommend this company a million times over. They're also the only company in the area that will do a camera after a hydrojet, as far as I know, which was really important for us. They were so nice and personable, arrived on time, and were done super quickly! They also talked through everything they saw, provided recommendations, but didn't fear monger. I really appreciated their "bedside manner" and all of the insights they provided us. Thank you John and Jordan!
