RUN AWAY as fast as you can! Our neighbors hired this company to remove a deceased tree. The on-site supervisor determined the only way to get the tree down was to approach the tree from our property, they drove their equipment onto our driveway then determined that actually was not going to work. In the process of doing this, they caused cracking in our driveway concrete. The owner Godlove came out that evening to assess and told us that he was “firing the job foreman” for doing this and that they would fix the damage. He wanted to send “his concrete guy” over to fix it—- his concrete guy being a 1 star google rated individual who we actually used years ago on a different property and were not satisfied with his work. We told Godlove that we would have a concrete company of our choosing come out to assess and quote how to fix the damage. So I have a quote, gave it to Godlove…. and guess who’s ghosting us! When he reviewed the quote to fix the damage he stated he would submit to his insurance company. A week later still no response, finally got him on the phone and says now “he has to talk to his partner first.” Now he’s not returning our calls. WHAT A JOKE of a company! Read his about page— ‘they uphold a high standard of integrity bound by fairness, honesty, and personal responsibility.’ RIGHT! I would never use this company! There are other reputable companies in this community to use. If you happen to read this Godlove, give us a call, we’d love to chat!

They removed a pin oak, broke my sidewalk, and my driveway. They said the area of stump could be planted with grass in Sept. .That won't happen with the stump not ground out for landscaping soil and compost.
C ontacted them to come to finish . They have been paid in full so . The company never made any repairs to the concrete they broke. Pathetic. Two years have passed!

Low bid winners for some insurance work. Removed a very large tree that fell in our shared alley weeks ago. They overloaded a trailer with too heavy of logs and struggled to haul it away. When they finally got it moving, it was Questionable if it was safe since it was past safety limits. This was easily observed by the sagging tongue of the trailer and hitch connection and the bottomed out suspension on the truck they were attempting to haul with. Then to top it off they struggled to move their large boom truck without nearly rubbing the neighborhoods street parked vehicles. I moved my truck and trailer down the block as a kindness to alleviate their struggles and I was met with a comment: "I wasn't going to mess up my $70,000 truck on your ride." The tone and manner to which this employee responded was rude. I responded "that has given me no confidence in your abilities". It also implied that "my ride" was a nothing by comparison. The employee shrugged it off and they continued to obstruct traffic longer than necessary while struggling to get their "$70,000" truck, into a drive way to gain better access to the rest of the fallen tree. I get that it was hot and it was alot of work but again, not worth the cringy experience of watching incapable driving skills with equipment that they clearly can't handle and fail to respect basic safety standards.

I would give them negative 5 stars.
Aaron Brown quoted me a price to remove a very large, half dead, old elm tree. A crew showed up from another company. They dropped GIANT limbs (without tying them off and lowering them slowly) onto my lawn creating multiple HUGE, DEEP divots. They dropped several very large limbs in my neighbors’ yard (and left them there), and destroyed a fence, as well as my lawn.
That crew left, not moving any downed limbs or cutting anything into manageable sizes. Huge piles of sawdust and 5’ diameter tree trunk all over my yard. I texted Mr. Brown after they left and sent pictures of the debacle. He came over, looked, seemed upset with that crew, apologized, promised to come back, then asked for payment- which, admittedly-stupidly, I paid. My only defense for paying him was that he had just done work for my neighbor, who was happy with the service. I had said he could leave the “firewood”, which he claimed meant he could leave all the wood.(2’x6’ logs and larger! I asked who might have a fireplace that size…!!!)
I apologized for the “miscommunication” and offered additional $ to haul the giant logs away.
    (It’s ALL still here)
When I initially texted him he did reply, (one time only): “I promise I’ll be back, I wouldn’t leave it like that”
Now, he won’t even respond to repeated texts. I suppose I’ll have to pay another REPUTABLE company to finish the job. If you hire Hurricane DO NOT pay until job is totally done.
My advice- DO NOT hire them. Their price may sound good, but you get a lot less than what you pay for.

Hurricane Tree Company did an amazing job. I’ve hired them twice now and both experiences were great. They did the job and barely even left a mess. They’re prices are very competitive and fair. I would and do recommend them.

They did an excellent job of cutting down trees and said they would come back the beginning of the next month to grind out the stumps. I paid them the agreed upon amount for all services so I would not need to be present for the stump grinding. It's several months later and still no stump grinding. I have called and left messages to no avail. If they would have followed through, I would have given them a 5 star.

Started a job to take down an old tree at my grandmother's house, left the job half done. Still has their rope tied to the tree. They haven't attempted to call to set up a completion date. Started the job, took the money and took advantage of an old lady. Damn shameful.

I called to get a quote on removing a large tree in our yard. We set something up for "anytime after 11 am." I sat around all day waiting for their call. By 5 pm nobody had arrived and my husband called to see what was going on. The lady said she was planning on coming in the evening and had been waiting for it to cool down (no communication to us about that). Rescheduled for another day and time. She forgot to come. Don't waste your time with this company. It is obvious they don't value your time as a customer.

We've used Hurricane Tree Service twice now - back in June and yesterday. Between the 2 visits, they trimmed up the 4 giant pin oaks in our yard (including the one in the back). I wish I had taken photos of the before. They cleaned up the canopy on the back tree and did roof clearance for us. They clean up after themselves and then some - hauling everything away. Very reasonably priced and cannot recommend them enough.

Hurricane Tree Service was hire by my neighbor to remove a tree in his back yard. They drove their truck through my yard, without permission, and hit my fence. They didn't let us know, apologize, nothing. I finally approached them with my frustration. They said they would fix the damaged fence panel. I called the next day and eas told they gave the homeowner a discount and he would fix the fence. No one has come back, reached out, nothing. Avoid.

A good friend recommended Acme Tree Services and I could not be happier. I had a small job (trim 3 trees) and I knew they would come when they were doing larger jobs in the neighborhood. They called to give me notice they were available as a late afternoon job, showed up on time, and did a fantastic job trimming our trees. They checked before leaving to make sure I did not want more trimmed and were very accommodating. Their clean up was phenomenal, not even stray leaves left in the yard. Great work and definitely will use them again.

Bob and his crew came out and took down 4 trees in no time. Very professional to work with. They left without a trace of them being there(besides missing a few trees of course). Would recommend to anyone!

We've used Acme Tree Service for a number of years. Everything from trimming an Ash Tree, to pruning a Hawthorne (the ones with the nasty thorns) to coming by when we've lost large limbs and needed help getting them cleaned up out of the yard. The crew could not be more professional. They keep you posted on what they're doing. Make sure any of your questions are answered. Their response time is amazing and Bob has always been a true professional. Prices are reasonable and the crew cleans up - making it look better than it did before they got there. We will always use them as long as we live in Lincoln!

These guys helped my mom remove a lot of tree limbs from the recent storm impromptu and weren’t going to charge her but reluctantly took a tip. Good human beings!

Fast and efficient. Above and beyond with helping as I am senior. Cleaned up after themselves and cost was aporopriate. Most of all the tree looks excellent!

We've lost many trees due to Pine Wilt over the years and we've used many tree services as a result. The Acme Tree team was the most professional team of them all. They also did the best job grinding the stump and cleaning the mess before they left. Hands down, the first company we will call next time we need tree service.

Bob was wonderful person to work with. When the so much excitement, he just walks us to the problem looks around and calmly says we have it and tells you how he's going to fix it. Helped me out on Father's Day and didn't cost me a arm and leg. Thanks Bob
