Reasonable cost, accurate estimate. Exceptional design, based on talking with us. Got an accurate sense of what we liked and delivered. Knows his trees and plants. We've used Jay Moore more than once. Would return in a heartbeat. He stands by his work. One time, we lost a tree. He came right out and replaced it. It's now alive and thriving.

Jay is more than a great designer. I had a modest job in a mid-scale neighborhood. Jay gave me a very reasonable estimate and did a beautiful job. When I asked for a couple of modifications, his response was: "We'll take care of that. I want you to be happy." And then the very next day he came out to follow through. He added materials and didn't even adjust the cost. I ended up with a brilliant design and couldn't be more happy I went with Jay Moore Landscaping.

We had Jay come out and give us an estimate to do some landscaping in our backyard. He started out being really responsive when it came to setting up the appointments to meet. Was Jay the cheapest quote.... no ....but we were willing to pay a little more because of the customer service we THOUGHT we were going to get.

Well it seemed like the customer service went down the drain once he felt he had our business. We would email him with some additional questions we had about the trees/bushes that he was going to plant....no response....we asked if he had at least a 'timeframe' on when they hoped to begin the project...no response.

So we became concerned because if this was the treatment we were receiving BEFORE the project even began, we assumed that the customer service provided by Jay would be even worse after the project was done. So if a bush or tree needed to be replaced (under warranty) I'm sure we would have just been brushed off. Our thoughts were pretty much confirmed when I read a few of the other reviews about Jay on various other sites.

I think we dodged a bullet by not signing a contract with Jay, and am so glad we cancelled. Price is important to us but even more important to us is customer service. And if customer service is important to you as well BEFORE, DURING and AFTER the project, I recommend looking elsewhere.

I will do a utility locate today. leave the gates unlocked until all utilities have marked

People did come out and do a utility locate in our yard. So if Jay wasn't 'sure we were going to move forward' why would he do a utility locate?
As far as signing a contract with Jay, we did not sign the final contract because he wouldn't answer our questions, I think it would have been pretty stupid to sign a contract with someone that won't respond to questions.

Jay has done a number of jobs for me. He pulled out old rose bushes and shrubs, clearing out the previous home owners' landscaping and created a cleaner landscape precisely to my liking. He has laid sod - which maintained healthy growth, he has trimmed up trees, and he has given me beautiful design ideas. Jay is always on time, always friendly. Even when I had a serious home issue that was not directly landscaping, Jay answered my email and stopped by very quickly. I was surprised to find that he had some critical insight on that issue too. Jay Moore Landscaping is the right choice!

A month or so late, didn't get what I wanted for the most part and the majority is dying. No communication, not even sure he's been to my house other than the bid..

Beautiful work done according to the plan. Reliable, meeting deadline. Highly recommend for both landscaping and hardscape to include beautiful water pillars feature.

We contracted Juan's Landscaping to regrade our back yard, install a partial retaining wall and river rock around our semi inground pool. They did a fantastic job. Extremely pleased with the results and highly recommend them. Looking forward to our Spring project.
