Orlando and his crew are beyond professional. Honest. Grateful. Hard workers. Perfectionism. He just completed fall clean up and there is not a leaf Insight. My lawn looks beautiful. Thank you Orlando. 🙏🥰. Thank you

Orlando and his crew do an amazing job on our landscaping and yard upkeep every week. Very professional, communicative and dependable company. Would recommend to anyone looking for a landscaper!
-
Orlando and all of his employees are top notch pros. I especially appreciate how communicative and available he is. He and his crew delivered on every promise at a competitive rate. I will hire them again without a doubt!

I had the best looking grass on the block early spring. I am on my second full year having them apply fertilizer and aerating. Should have used them sooner!!

WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! My Fiance is currently in a legal suit with this man. He wrote up a salary contract and within a month he broke the contract and did not pay my Fiance the wages he worked for. We felt manipulated after dinners and nice offers. He even took my child to football practice. However when it was time to pay my Fiance was treated rudely and told he shouldn't nitpick about money.

Professional and thorough service. Detailed estimate with visual diagram of proposed work. Hard working and friendly workers. Highly recommend!

Zero help. Wanted to support local and walked around aimlessly for our first visit and was insanely disappointed in the lack of help, maybe 2 other customers there. Left with no answers.

I have had roberts nursery do work for both myself and my mother inlaw several times over the past few years. Everytime the guys come out, whether its a small job or large project, they are polite, clean, and do a wonderful job. I take pide in my landscape and am happy to say they have helped me every step of the way. Being a father of two, there isnt always time to keep the lawn 100% so i have signed up for roberts lawn care as well and they have kept my yard looking green and properly trimmed all year. Thanks to an amazing staff!

I ordered plants for delivery due to the quarantine and physical issues. The plants were excellent and Holly was helpful, joyful and knowledgeable. I am very happy.

Robert's Nursery has the BEST customer service hands-down. They take care of their customers. They are always pleasant to work with, have good selection, and have fair prices.
-
Excellent service and good pricing which is based on yard size. I use Robert's for my weekly and seasonal lawn maintenance, and just contracted for landscaping. Nice people to deal with.

Robert's Nursery is absolutely and easily the worst, most terrible nursery I have ever been to. I couldn't begin to imagine a worse nursery, even in my worst nightmare. The employees lack both basic knowledge of the horticulture trade and customer service skills. While at Robert's Nursery I overheard employees giving customers terrible advice concerning use of pesticides and herbicides, as well as terrible advice concerning something as simple as plant care and proper placement based on plant needs. I don't think these employees realize it is actually illegal to use pesticides and herbicides if not in exact accordance with the directions on these chemicals! I have an associates degree in horticulture, it seems that there is not a single employee in all of Robert's Nursery who even has the basic knowledge requirements for this degree. I can think of four reasons to go to Robert's Nursery
1. You are trying to start your own nursery and want to see the exact opposite of everything you should do with your nursery/landscape company.
2. You want to be misguided about plants and plant care.
3. You are masochistic.
4. You are trying to be ironic. -
Robert's did our landscaping last year on May 31, 2016. They planted a juniper arrow that was turning brown. I told them about it the day after they planted it and they told me that when trees are transplanted they show signs of stress and pruned the tree and told me that if it was still turning brown next year, 2017, that the tree had a one year warranty.
Well, this year the tree is still turning brown and Robert's won't honor their warranty, they won't replace it and below is the email that I got from the owner:
"Mrs Johnson,
Kris and I have spoke of your concern last week and last year. I told him we would not replace this tree both last year and this year after reviewing his pictures and notes when discussed.
After my review today as I write this email, as I sit in front of your home (see enclosed pictures),this juniper is no where near dead. The few brown areas on it is far less than average for this type of plant and is well within reason. Simple pruning and general maintenance is all that is needed. It is not dead nor will we replace.
If you choose to pursue further I would suggest you have a licensed arborist or nurserymen look at and put in writing that it is dead, for I am 100% certain that it is not.
Sincerely,
Robert"
Well, we had Enfields come out and look at it, they told me that it was a good tree, that it could withstand alot and told me to treat it with Miracle Gro once a month, until it came back. I'm treating it with Miracle Gro in hopes that it will come back. Robert's has the worst customer service and they have no intention on standing by their one year warranty.
I've attached pictures of what the tree looked like when they planted it last year along with pictures of what it looks like now.
I can't imagine that Mulhall's, Lanoha's or any of the other landscaping services in Omaha would plant a tree with brown spots in their customer's yard and they definitely would not have argued with that customer and refused to honor their one year warranty-- that's just horrible customer service.
I sum it up to a lesson learned and I will never buy anything else from Robert's and they will never touch my yard again. -
We were looking for a Japanese maple tree. My brother Andre J. pointed us in the direction of Robert's Nursery. I didnt know they had so many different trees. Hollie and Laura were very helpful in helping us find the perfect Japanese maple that fit our yard and our budget. Thank you all for your help and I look forward to doing future business with you.

Customer service is always great here! Someone always comes out to greet you, unlike other nurseries we've been to. They are very knowledgeable about their inventory and always willing to negotiate. We drive from SW Omaha because of this.

I cannot ever get anyone to answer the phone at this location. This location is close for me but there is never anyone around to help or purchase things from. I stop here 2 or 3x a year and I can never find anyone to help so I just end up leaving without buying what I came for. Was just there and happened again.
Edit: I always walk both inside and all the way through the green house and no one is present. On the most recent day, there wasn't another customer in sight as I walked in the building, in the greenhouse or in the area with trees/plants outside. I really want to shop here because of the convenience but it always ends up being unproductive. -
This is the only nursery I will go to. They always have what I need and are always friendly and very helpful. Plus I use their lawn service and I always have the best looking lawn in the neighborhood due to their monthly treatment on my lawn.

I recently contacted about six landscaping companies for quotes on a large flower bed I wanted "professionally" landscaped. Kris Massengale from Robert's was the only one who presented me with what I would call a "great design." During the consultation, he was the only one that took the time to get to know me - my thoughts, my ideas and what I wanted the project to become. With his vast knowledge of plants and bushes, he was able to incorporate plants/bushes that were not high maintenance, yet still would look great in the area. He was also the only one that "thought outside the box." He suggested that we increase the size of the existing flower bed and to go around a wishing well that was already in the yard. The wishing well looked good, but really was a pain to mow around, so now that it is part of the flower bed, my mowing time has been cut drastically. In the end, because of Kris, my large flower bed became a gorgeous landscaping feature of my yard! He is great to work with too! He answered all of my questions and we discussed my concerns. We worked together on the final placement of all the plants/bushes. Just before work began, I wanted a few other changes and as work was being done, a few more. He happily made all the changes without a second thought. Of all my quotes, Robert's was not the cheapest, yet even though my budget was tight, once I saw Kris' design, I was hooked! I am absolutely thrilled with my new landscaping & would highly recommend not only Robert's, but specifically Kris Massengale for all your landscaping needs and/or desires. He and his crews can be trusted to do a great job for you!!

I have been with Roberts for over 20 years and had a real awakening yesterday. 2 guys drove up to fertilize, saw them look in the front and backyard. I was doing something in the house ,didn't think much about it, then right away door bell rings. One of the guys hands me the invoice and they leave. It all felt funny because it all happened in a few minutes. I looked at the invoice, it said Applied Pre-Emergent, Broadleaf Control. and on the back of invoice in hand writing it said applied pre-emergent. Well looked around outside in front yard and back yard there was nothing, no fertilizer at all. I called the office to report the issue and wanted the crew leader to call me , no call yet. The 2 guys came back and gave me an excuse. got out the spreaders and fertilized only to see that one of them didn't have the spreader opened up so nothing was even coming out until I told him. This is what my pre-pay of $532.17 for the season meant to a lawn service that i used to like and have had for over 20 years. I didn't even get a phone call from Garret the lawn service manager. I never again want these guys on my property! Beware! If you are told you received a treatment from Robert's that you paid for, you may not have even gotten the treatment! Had I not been vigilant when they were here I would have been paying for nothing.

Jordan was on it from the moment he came and bid our job to the completion of the work. He met us, walked around and listened to what we wanted and offered suggestions. The bid was delivered in a reasonable amount of time. The day the work began, he came with the crew, explained exactly what we wanted to see done, and left them to do their job. The crew was friendly and hard working--even in the heat! We will recommend Roberts and will use them for future landscaping.

Nice folks with a nice facility, but this review is only for pricing. The two bids I've looked at were very high. In fact, both times every bid beat them. Our most recent bid for a mulch refresh was a full 40% higher than the next closest.
In their defense, I will say that the pricing is probably very similar to Mulhalls and others. These chronic high bidders I would suggest you can do better than.
We no longer bother to call them since we know they are consistent.
