When I needed someone to replace a retaining wall that was about to collapse, AJ was the first contractor to respond. Starting with our first interaction, he listened to my concerns and communicated in detail how the job would be done. The crew built a new retaining wall and replaced an old concrete walkway that was sloping, and the finished product is beautiful! I'm very happy with their work and with AJ's level of customer service. I highly recommend AJ's Landscaping and plan to hire them again for my future projects.

AJ and his crew excavavated, installed and finished our 40x16 fiberglass pool and patio extension. They have an amazing process and a diverse knowledge in what was a large scope of work. His crew accommodated my need to corral a 100lb dog every evening through construction....not exactly convenient. My family will enjoy there end product for years to come. AJ only wants it done one way, the right way. He is not afraid to walk away if your desire is anything but.

AJ’s was the only company to provide a detailed estimate of goods, labor, etc. AJ was transparent throughout the process, always upholding promised deadlines. He walks you through the process, gives you options and his communication is the best I’ve seen in companies I’ve hired. His team was professional and efficient, finishing a large project quickly. AJ took our 60 year old limestone dilapidated wall to a multi-tiered, visually appealing retaining wall. The work speaks for itself with a sturdy retaining wall, sure to stand the test of time.

Did a killer job regrading and re-sodding our yard five times better than the builder did originally, to fix drainage issues. Buried all of the downspouts perfectly and redirected the water flow to a much better location. Highly recommend for any landscaping needs.

I want to highly recommend AJ’s Landscaping Omaha. We recently had them bury our downspouts and sump pump pipe underground to alleviate a water problem around our foundation. They were very easy to work with and their work was above expectations. Their portal is easy to use for communications. Jerod is very knowledgeable and offers expert advice. There was a drainage issue between our house and neighbors house. I got a couple of bids and AJ was the best at explaining what needed to be done, and gave a very fair price for the work.
The slope was regraded and a drain line was added to connect the neighbors sump pump and downspout. New sod was then placed.
The work was performed within three weeks of our acceptance of the bid, even with the rains that we had.
They showed up on time and worked in hot conditions. All of the crew were very nice and friendly. AJ was present for a lot of the work.
I very highly would recommend.

Edit 5/21/24 - the swale and drainage system from AJ’s Landscaping saved us this morning when our neighbor’s retaining wall failed and sent a massive amount of water down in the heavy rain. Absolutely would recommend AJ’s to everyone. Original post: This is the second time that we used AJ's Landscaping and we were just as pleased as the first time 8 years ago. The current job involved replacing three retaining walls and deepening the swale for water draining between us and the neighbor. The work was very professional and progressed at a fast clip with numerous crew members. AJ himself stopped by the site almost every day. The crew members were very friendly and tidied up nicely at the end of each day. Their final cleanup was very thorough. AJ willingly and quickly processed changes. We couldn't have been happier with AJ's Landscaping.

I couldn’t be happier with the work they did. They installed a French drain, built a beautiful retaining wall, and planted a tree along with ornamental grasses and fresh mulch — all with precision and care.

They showed up on time, communicated clearly throughout the project, and left the site spotless each day. It’s rare to find a crew that’s this professional, efficient, and easy to work with. The results speak for themselves, and the experience was just as impressive.

8-18-2025 to 8-20-2025 AJs Landscaping did a great job building flagstone paths, rebuilding a “dry creek bed,” and pouring a concrete pad for our grill. The work was done quickly and with the eye of an artist who is proud of their work. If and when we want more work done, we’ll call AJs first.

We purchased a new construction home almost a year ago and wanted to get some landscaping done. From start to finish, AJ’s landscaping was great! He was very hands on throughout the entire process, very patient (including my multiple asks/revisions), and he showed up on install day. His entire crew was very respectful, quick/efficient, and cleaned up after themselves. The landscaping has totally transformed our house. We have plans to use AJ and his crew in the fall for some privacy landscaping in our backyard. 10/10!!

The crew from AJ’s Landscaping did a wonderful job. They were on time to start work and they picked up at the end of their work day, even raking up the grass after picking up the plywood. AJ had great ideas and suggestions to put in a dry creek bed to fix our drainage issues in our backyard. We highly recommend AJ’s!

After my initial call, Jerod came out and we determined that a Vertica Pro retaining wall was the best option, given the height and the need for a vertical (non-tiered) design.

Once construction began, it was clear that the crew were professionals with the right equipment for the task at hand. Materials were delivered systematically as the wall was built, allowing them to maximize the limited space and minimize downtime.

AJ's was very timely and communicated well throughout every stage of the process. Calls and texts were returned promptly, and all invoices were sent through an easy-to-use online system.

In the end, the wall looks fantastic, and I’m confident it will remain structurally sound for many years to come. I will definitely use AJ's for future projects.

Exceptional professionalism. Fantastic result. Above and beyond the contract requirements. The crew was happy to do anything we asked and did it well. They pulled every weed in the back and swept all the concrete areas, not just where they worked. When finished, the yard looked immaculate! We are very pleased.

AJ‘s landscaping is the best there is. From the bidding process, to the changes, the removal and the final product was top notch. The professionalism from him all the way to the employees was the best you could ask for. If AJ‘s didn’t specialize in the line of work that was needed, they had the best people to do the job. That made it easy for the one stop shop. The guys organized their tools and equipment and made it look as good as it could every evening. I will recommend this company to all family and friends. This is the only company I will use from here on out.

Great and timely! All the employees are respectful and they even knocked on the door when they had a question rather than ring the doorbell which I appreciate with having young children who still nap. Also, they are great with my dog when i don’t get inside fast enough. All have manners.
