We used Heroes for weekly lawn mowing. To sum things up: they're no better than any other lawn mowing service, and possibly worse than most. I gave them one star simply because when they bothered to show up, they did an adequate job. Not great, not bad, just good enough.

The problem we had was their adherence to the schedule, or lack of. My wife would get a text stating they would be here to mow on XXXX day, so she would pick up the dog poop and get things ready for them. Then that day would arrive, and Heroes wouldn't. Sometimes they would show up a day or two late, sometimes they wouldn't show up at all.

They ALWAYS had an excuse. "We were short staffed", "It rained earlier in the week", "We drove by and it didn't need it". That last excuse was the one that really irritated me, because it was a flat out lie. I work from home. My office is at the front of the house, they never drove by. Just to be sure, I checked the camera feed that day and they never drove by.

If you want to do business with a company that is willing to lie to you, not show up on time, and can do an okay job when they do, then Heroes should be fine for you.

For everyone else that expects to get quality work, and HONESTY in exchange for their hard earned money: look elsewhere.

/Reply to Owner/ If your company truly cared, you would not have waited until you received a poor review to respond. The account is under my wife's name. No, I have not interest in speaking to you. She already tried calling / texting multiple times when your service dates were missed. Besides, you've lied directly to us once before, why wouldn't you do it again? I'm glad you responded, it gave me an opportunity to add to my review. You DON'T care about the service you provide, you only care about the reviews you receive. Have a nice day.

My husband and I were very pleased with Taylor and the team from Heroes Lawn and Landscape! Their customer service is terrific. Taylor was very patient, providing us with estimates for both pavers and concrete so we could decide what best fit our budget. He was also quick to return every phone call and email. We are looking forward to enjoying our new patio!

When my lawn care company quit mid season, Heroes Lawncare fit me in on top of their already full schedule. They were so responsive and kind. Then they showed up and did a wonderful, thorough job. I highly recommend.

Heroes took over the lawn care from Dave Diez. They have treated my lawn once so far. I did receive notice the day before service so I could unlock my gate and secure my dogs. This is greatly appreciated. Technician was friendly and informative. Looking forward to doing business with Heroes the rest of this season.

Very responsive and great communication on start times. Our project was delayed a few days from weather, and they were very open on when they would be there to start. The crew that came, were very professional and courteous. Cleaned up after themselves everyday after they were done. Would highly recommend!

We had Heroes out to do some landscaping in our front and back yard this Spring 2019. Taylor did a great job getting a bid to us in a timely manner (including a few different options to meet our budget), staying in communication with us on the days leading up to our project, and following up with care instructions for our newly planted tree, plants, and grass seed. It surprised us how fast their team worked. It was no simple project since several areas of our lawn needed to be grated down and three large flower beds were created. However, our project was done in one day with the manpower they put on it! We loved how stress-free they made our experience and we would highly recommend their work to anyone. Thanks, Heroes!

Last summer was my first year hiring Heroes Lawn Care to fertilize, aerate, and overseed my lawn. It was our second year in the house and after battling dying grass and vicious weed spread during year one I wanted to see what difference could be made with a professional program. This difference was astounding. As last summer went on our grass grew thicker and greener. Aerating and overseeding turned out to be worth it as well. I had some bare patches from various projects that never fully grew back in last year. When the grass came out of dormancy this spring it was so thick it was hard to find a weed or bare spot in the mix. Steve or Brett usually service the property and both of them are efficient and professional. I like to learn how to do things on my own but what Heroes Lawn Care charges for their 6 step fertilizer program is a rare case where I'm actually saving money by paying someone else to do the work. I'm very satisfied with the service and results that Heroes Lawn Care provides.

This was a great experience. Amy was super friendly scheduled me with multiple services. The fertilization was done right away. And a special thanks to Dan from the irregation team. Super helpful, friendly, flexible to our schedule, and fixed and adjusted our sprinklers at a great price. Thank you again!!

I would wait before you give them a rating. We had issues with Heroes, after we hired them with our lawn service, and now with the snow removal. 12 years being on this property, we only had one accident, with Heroes, we had 5 people who were serious hurt from falling, and with all these falls, comes the hungry attorneys, they didn't put salt/sand down after shoveling the walks, handicap spaces, ramps, but did come back out a day later, after my complaints and with my hills, we had 4 car accidents. UPS driver slid around a Amazon driver who was parked, my self and two others, slid out onto the a busy 2 lane street, missed on coming cars and a Heroes plow driver employee watched my maintenance man slide down one of our step hills, and after he hit the bank of snow, there employee drove off the property and didn't come back to put anything down. I was told excuse after excuse on why they can't be here or put sand/salt down.

Heroes did an outstanding job cleaning up the mulch beds, triming our bushes, and laying down new mulch at our school requested locations. They were very responsive and professional to me and my staff. Heroes Lawn care did quality work is a short time frame. Heroes really care about their customers!

Only used them once so far this year. Our previous lawn service guy had to give his business up due to some health issues and turned over his accounts to Heroes Lawn Care. I will have to say the transfer of services went well and the communication we received from Heroes Lawn Care was top notch.

We had Trey Owens out last Thursday to blow out our extensive sprinkler system consisting of 10 zones. Not only did Trey arrive right on time, he was very neat in appearance and better yet super friendly and helpful. Unlike other sprinkler services I have used over the decades, Trey was incredibly competent and would check every single sprinkler head and made numerous trips around our acre yard making sure everything was blown out. Heroes Lawn and Landscape is lucky to have Trey and the company is very reasonably priced and I plan on using them next Spring to get our system going. I would highly recommend Heroes as they seem to be on top of everything starting with great answer of the phone. Very easy to work with and like I mentioned, they were as reasonable in price as any other company I checked with.

We have been waiting over 11 weeks for Heroes to fix our inoperable sprinkler system. They placed lines and heads for our system on our neighbor’s property, which we have attempted to get them to move 4 separate times before the house next door was built. Now, when we turn on our system, it floods our neighbor’s yard and we are unable to water our yard. When Heroes does finally give you a day they will come, they won’t show up and won’t call to let you know. Nearly 3 months later, Heroes has not showed up for appointments with us 6 times. Small claims court is in our future.

Taylor and his team knocked it out of the park!!! They showed up on time and got the work done in the time frame quoted. Work was professionally done and we are very happy with Heroes. Heroes did the hard scape and soft scape in the pic

Our lawn looks great and I appreciate that we have a reliable and high quality lawn service provider. We have found Heroes to be super affordable for regular fertilization services. Our service technician Steve is great and after applying our last treatment, he even went above and beyond and used the blower to make sure the sidewalks and driveway were clean. Would recommend.

Brett fertilized this week and he did an awesome and thorough job. We appreciate how great our lawn looks since we started using Heroes!

Heroes not only shows up weekly they are always looking for opportunity to show me new ways to make sure I have the best yard on the block. They recently upgraded my sprinkler system so I can control it on my phone & reads the weather to save water when I don’t need to water. They are very professional but are so kind to my family knowing all of our names & dogs names. I can’t recommend enough

Roy with the Heroes Crew, Knocked it out of the park!! They were here just days after giving approval of the bid. Our corner lot with a wide drive & recent rain, came with some challenges that Heroes easily overcame. System works great. No more dragging hoses! Thank you Heroes irrigation

Had our patio installed in June of 21. Had to have it fixed in June of 22, June of 23, last request for repair was September of 23. See attached pictures of what it looks like today. Not happy. Because I never got a response to our last request for repair I will end up having to do the work myself. That defeats the purpose of paying a professional. If I wanted these problems, I could have saved the money and let my husband install it. So disappointed.

Can’t speak to their landscaping or hardscaping services, but getting trees through them to plant in your yard is definitely not their specialty. I don’t know what it is about companies planting trees with a mulch volcano, but literally 30 seconds of research will show that it’s not a good practice for transplanted trees, in fact it’s harmful. Stick with a nursery, or even better, an arborist. When heroes arrived, they didn’t cut the root ball before planting the tree, they planted too deep as to not allow any root flares exposed for optimal growth and oxygen access, they told me 3x a week sprinkler irrigation should be fine and sufficient enough for watering. All of this is just so blatantly wrong and incorrect and it’s embarrassing that I could figure that out within a weekend of researching stuff myself. Unfortunately, I didn’t think I needed to research anything and put the trust of the process into a company who does it for a living, it wasn’t until after they were planted that I started to look things up for myself. I called Taylor the day after the transplant to kindly express my worry and asked if they by luck still had the dirt from my yard from when they dug the holes for the trees so I can then use that dirt to build a berm or dike around the tree so that I could deeply water these new trees that would need to get deep down into the rootball rather than shallow water penetration so the roots grow deep rather than upward towards the tree itself. Taylor then preceded to act like he’s never heard of such a thing and acted like that’s totally unnecessary but told me he could at least drop off some slow release water bags by my house for me, so I said yeah that’s fine. Never got those bags lol. Thanks Taylor. Ended up getting some dirt from Home Depot and building the berms. I look at neighbors trees all throughout the neighborhood and they ALL have the same mulch volcano and are already half dead. If you’re reading this review I encourage you to just Google a couple things: “root flares”, “mulch volcano”, “how to properly transplant a tree”. You’ll be amazed to find how many “professional” companies don’t know what they’re doing when it comes to transplanting trees. Like I said, I can’t speak to their hardscaping/landscaping services, but paying $1500 for two trees and transplanting seems a little outrageous when you figure out they don’t even know what they’re doing.
