I usually don’t write reviews, but I want everyone to know what a positive experience I have had with TruGreen. My lawn went from disaster to enviable in the first year alone. Their communication is excellent, calling me the day before my service is to be performed, and texting me the day of my service to keep me updated about the service provider’s arrival. The customer service reps have been so knowledgeable and helpful when I call. The young men that come out have always been super respectful and hard working, happy to do any extra spraying I request. It has been money very well spent. 10 out of 10 I would recommend it.

From yellow thin grass not growing to dark green what a change now they follow up to take care of bare spots.

Marty was very nice and very helpful with the problems that we have. He said he was gonna try and take care of it as much as he could thank you. He was very knowledgeable and we felt very comfortable with him.

Zero customer service. The local team doesn't return calls. My yard was treated and 1/2 is dead now. Not weeds, actually grass. I'm currently looking for a local reputable company that stands behind their work and more importantly returns calls. Should have remembered my dad's advice. Cheap ain't good and good ain't cheap.

Tyler, was very good, he gave me a verbal description reminder of what he was to do, but he ALSO left me a TruGreen receipt with detail description of what was being done on my yard and left it on my front door handle. I really appreciated the receipt with the details, as my memory bank isn't what it use to be, so a big thank you to Tyler, for hiring a great representative for your company!

Worst service ever, deducted the year amount from my account instead of our signed contract of each time they come out to service our yard. It’s been 2 weeks and no one will return my call or give refund on top of that they also pulled the monthly service amount from my account when they came. But there’s never a manager that can take the call and they say a manger will be in contact within 24 hours but nothing.

I had called into Trugreen Lawn Care and spoke with Zach King. He answered all of my question quickly and will be taking care of our lawn from now on. Thank you for your assistance Zach.

For the past year, I have entrusted TruGreen with my lawn care needs, and the results are nothing short of remarkable. The before picture illustrates the state of my yard after the first application, with all weeds eliminated. The after picture, taken two days after my latest treatment, also highlights the effectiveness of the additional flea, tick, and mosquito treatment.

It wouldn't let me go forward without selecting a star, I wanted to give a zero.
Signed up last May for full service not realizing it was the "fool" service they were selling. Sales person quoted "wait till you see your lawn next spring". I could hardly wait to see the improvement. However I didn't know he meant it would be worse than when we initially signed.

Trying to get a hold of a service manager is next to impossible. Two weeks(probably 6 calls) going through service reps who say they will refer to manager and they will get back to us. No response so today I drove to the Trugreen office and had the pleasure of speaking with Erin who was worthless. The service reps apologize for the issues but are only pushing the messages on to people who don't have the courtesy to return the call even if it's to tell you we don't care.

Very frustrating experience to say the least.

Received my first treatment in the morning and I seen the difference by the time I was home for work ! All the weeds are dead. I’m very pleased with services received.

Can’t wait to see my yard in the next few weeks

My husband signed up for their services and after a year, there was no change. We also only opted for the front yard as we have dogs and did not want anything in the backyard. We constantly found whatever they use in the backyard. Then my husband broke his collar bone and to help with finances, we quit using True green. They did not appreciate that. We called and cancelled services, we told them to take us off their mailing and call list. We still get at least one thing from them a month in the mail. The mail isn't a big deal, just annoying, it goes straight to the trash. My husband keeps receiving calls about coming back. He has blocked their number multiple times but they keep calling from a different number. I don't know how many times we have to say we're not coming back and constantly calling us, is NOT going to convince us to come back. It's borderline harassment at that point.

True Green purchased prior lawn service that I had for 12 years, three years ago. They have been a nightmare to work with since they took over. I have more weeds in my lawn than ever. Many no shows when they did make appointments to treat. I was told that they were having personnel problems. Never going to use again. Seeking a local company that really cares about their customers…

TryGreen has been an exceptional Organization to work with. They have been consistently on time, attentive, informative and thorough with providing top notch service. Thus far I have been pleased with their customer service, which has been superb and every service provider that has come out.

My lawn was in beautiful shape when I started the True Green last year. This is what it looks like this year. There is crabgrass everywhere, dead patches of grass. and some sort of Creeping Bentgrass taking over the yard too. I called True Green and they sent out a "specialist" to take care of it. Nothing has changed in the lawn's appearance.

Loved that the agent answered my questions and gave me advice on our small tree that was dying. It came back to life and actually grew

At the beginning of the season spring 2024, it's hard to tell about the crabgrass. Last year Tru Green was unable to control the crabgrass. We got a 2 month head start this year. I have optimistic hope that this 3rd year with Tru Green will be perfect.

So, we are one year later, fall of 2025, crab grass is gone and weeds are 98% gone! Still loving my service and great customer service. Thanks for a 4th year of great service!

We have been so happy with Tru Green taking care of our weeds and lawn as well as our shrubs! Patrick, our horticulturist specialist did a great job spraying our trees and shrubs for the winter! He was very professional!!

I had a local company that serviced my lawn, but they sold out to TruGreen, so I kept them. My lawn went downhill from the first year and sadly I continued with them until last year. In the spring of 2022, their rep came out and serviced the lawn, but they never mentioned grub control. After the lawn died, I complained, so they sent out the same clown and he blamed the problem on the grubs. When I asked him why I didn't get grub control, he smartly said because I didn't ask for it. They are supposed to be the lawn experts. However, the yard started to turn green after the second treatment, but they were all weeds. I complained and they sent the same nitwit out to service the yard, but the weeds flourished. I sent them an email canceling my service and demanded a refund. Their response was they do not give refunds, but they offered to send out another service representative to apply another treatment. Since I already had the healthiest weeds in town, I declined. A few days later, a TruGreen truck arrived to treat the lawn, so I went out and met him before he applied another batch of weed feed, and I showed him the lawn. This has to be the worst company on earth. I went with a local company and my lawn is finally starting to look better.

The worse my lawn has ever looked. My representative was great and responsive but the yard care itself it terrible. I have more crabgrass that I started taking care of myself. Other weeds are and have always been around. I call they send someone out for spot control. And still have weeds after the 7-21 business days

Ok. Big corporation I'm sure others are just as good. There's something to be said about going with the big guy, especially when they have the customer service side squared away. I get the same service tech who I absolutely love. Our lawn has really taken a hard turn for the better and I'm happy as hay.

Impeccable work. Went above and beyond when cutting my tree down. Will call on them again!
