Heartland Lawns winterized my sprinkler system and I was perfectly satisfied with their performance. Rissa scheduled my service, clearly explaining the rates and expectations. Due to her professionalism and fast thinking she was able to schedule my service much sooner than I was expecting. Connor performed the maintenance quickly with no issues and even put on cloth booties over his work boots to help keep my floors clean when accessing the control panel. I look forward to their help for my future lawn and irrigation projects!

We began with Heartland in the Spring of 2022 and have retained their services since. Generally speaking the service is great. Our lawn tech has been the bright spot. Always courteous, conscientious and cordial. The lawn looks great year after year. The low spot has been irrigation system maintenance that has been a nemesis since we acquired this property. Irrigation system repairs have been EXPENSIVE, but the work has always been good. Overall, satisfied with Heartland over the past 3+ years for Lawn care and Irrigation system maintenance.

Heartland Lawns has done an outstanding job with fertilizing and weed control in our yard. Our grass is thick and lush and has a beautiful dark green color. We also use Heartland for bug control and our sprinkler system. Their communication is great!

I have been using Heartland lawns ever since i moved to Nebraska, They are amazing to work with. Brandon who has been handling my start up and winterizing, is so great. Very helpful, knowledgeable and detail oriented. They always give me a 30 minute heads up before they arrive, Always arrive within the scheduled time. We have used Heartland Lawns exclusively since moving to our new home in 2023. From irrigation system review and maintenance to landscape design, installation and spring and fall “clean up”, we couldn’t be happier with the attention and service provided. All staff members we have encountered have been helpful, courteous and highly professional. In our opinion, Heartland Lawns is second to none !

They always do a great job and are competitively priced. I own a small acreage and used to fertilize myself. However, with work and kiddos, I'd often lose track of timing on applications and have trouble staying consistent. My yard health struggled as a result so I decided to hire Heartland Lawns. It's only been a year and I can already see big improvements. The grass is fuller and growing quickly. Process is easy too. They come out, put the treatment down, leave an envelope in my door, I go online and pay. Easy peasy.

We've utilized Heartland for years when it comes to lawn care. I appreciate that they not only provide the necessary services to keep our lawn looking great, but they also take the time to educate us on the process, even leaving informational documents to help us better care for our lawn ourselves.

Recently we decided to put in a patio. We had Heartland, along with other companies, bid the project. Justin really took the time to listen to our vision, and he used his expertise to create a design that could also live within our budget.

The build itself went very well. There was excellent communication throughout. Jason and his team were very responsive. We are beyond proud of the work that was done, and we are excited to enjoy this beautiful addition to our home.

I have used Heartland Lawns for well over a decade for my lawn care. They are tremendous. I am totally satisfied with the work they do - my lawn always looks great and I am confident they know what to do and when to do it. In addition, they provide information about what I should do following each treatment. Recently I had a retaining wall rebuilt in my back yard that meant a lot of lawn was damaged or destroyed with heavy equipment making multiple trips. The construction folks reseeded the large areas that were affected, but along with the grass, a considerable amount of crabgrass dominated the areas. I called Heartland to see what could be done perhaps in the spring to stifle the growth. They "talked me off the ledge" and offered to come out and do a treatment this fall and explained how their spring regular pre-emergent treatment targets crabgrass among other weeds. And, this fall treatment they are doing at no extra charge as part of my plan. I also do well to mention that every phone interaction I have had about anything is professional and friendly. I've always come away knowing that they care and are there to do the job well. So thanks to them for all that. Well done.

We’ve been using Heartland Lawns for the past seven years, and in the beginning, the service was outstanding. The technician who originally cared for our lawn did an amazing job, and it really showed. Unfortunately, ever since he left (whether he quit or retired, I’m not sure), the quality of service has noticeably declined.

Last year, I reached out to voice my concerns and had someone come out to assess the lawn. I was hopeful things would improve, but nothing really changed. Despite regular treatments, I now have weeds popping up everywhere and yellow nutsedge has taken over large areas of the yard.

For the price we’re paying, the results just don’t match the cost anymore. It’s been disappointing, and at this point, we’ll be exploring other lawn care providers.

Heartland Lawn goes above and beyond in taking care of our yard. We’ve used other companies in the past, but for the last four years we’ve been loyal customers—and I wouldn’t use anyone else. Their technician, Sean, is friendly and has a great eye for detail. Our yard looks better than it ever has! I highly recommend Heartland Lawn to anyone looking for an outstanding, honest company.

Had a new patio and retaining wall put in. They did a great job and it looks amazing! They were very easy to work with and got it done sooner then i expected. I would definitely use them in the future. Thank you and great work!!

The crew from Above and Beyond just finished our landscaping and we couldn’t be happier. They did an excellent job with the job and clean up. Would highly recommend them for any service they provide!

I had a very negative experience with Above and Beyond Company. I do not recommend hiring them for any sprinkler system repair.

This is what happened. I had moved into my house last fall. When I recently tried to use the sprinkler system, I discovered that the heads were not working, so I called the company to repair them. Three “professionals” with two vans came to my house, but they still couldn’t figure out why my system wasn’t working. They replaced a $3 part (the auto drain valve in the water control box), but their system didn’t work.

Finally, they told me that the backflow preventer valve should be higher than the backyard. Little did they know that I have a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering, which made no sense to me. I asked them to double-check the water pressure from an outside faucet, and it was normal. They charged me $78($3 for the part) and left.

I kept thinking that the water pressure might be the problem, so I checked the main water valve in the basement, and to my surprise, it was only half-open! I opened it completely, and the sprinkler system worked. I called the manager of the company and explained everything, and asked him to return my $78, which he didn’t do. He told me that the repairmen were trained professionals and the best in the company. I left a voicemail, and he wouldn’t call back.

I don’t believe that I should have had to pay for the service call since nothing was fixed. Also, I’m disappointed that I was given a bogus explanation for why their system wasn’t working.

I had a small problem come up and the owner was quick to action to make sure i was happy with the outcome!
Great customer service will be continuing to support this business going forward!

Sept. 23rd I mailed this following letter (partial contents copied here) to the owner of Above and Beyond and have not yet, to this date received any kind of response.

I July 23rd of this year a technician came to my house to repair a leaking sprinkler. It is the one located at the end of the drive on the east side. He "replaced the head and put a plug in the bottom to prevent leaking water after the system is off." He also replaced the rotor. The sprinkler head has continued to leak. When I contacted your office and spoke with, I believe, Chad, he informed me that it was not unusual for the sprinkler to continue to leak from the lowest head after watering. I told him that this particular head is NOT at the lowest spot in the lawn, wherein, in the most condescending manner, he asked if I needed to have someone come to my home and explain this all to me again. I told him I didn't need this.

This sprinkler head has continued to leak daily. I was out of town for over a week recently and had turned off the system because of the amount of rain we had had. When I got home, I saw that the head in question had continued to leak.

I have been a loyal customer since your company was known as Automatic Rain; my records show since 1998 and have always been treated fairly. I have never hesitated to recommend your company to others. However, such demeaning answer to my concerns makes me question the validity of continuing this relationship or making recommendations on your behalf. I

I just wanted to let you know that your employees need to understand that your customers are not totally ignorant of how things work and to answer concerns in a respectful and timely way.

I knew I wanted a patio but did not have a clear vision of what I wanted. After receiving bids and talking to many different businesses and private contactors, I selected Above and Beyond because I really liked their vision of the patio the best and it was within my budget. The guys did a fantastic job and really did go above and beyond. I love my new patio! Thanks so much!!

We just had the whole front of our house landscaped and it looks GREAT! They were very fast and got it done in half a day. Everything was cleaned up and it looks so nice! Highly recommend and would definitely use Above and Beyond again!

I have used this company for many years for a variety of things. I started off having them redo my privacy fence and border it with mulch and plants. I was so impressed by the end result and attention to detail that I started using them on a weekly basis for my lawn mowing and they also do a fabulous job trimming my hedges. I have received many compliments from guests and neighbors about my yard and I'm very quick to refer people to them. Thanks Above & Beyond!
