We contacted Above and Beyond to repair our "tripping hazard" entry sidewalk, and sinking front step. We decided to improve the front landscaping beds as well. We got a good competitive bid from the company.
Rain delays slowed the start of work, but once it began we were delighted with the results. The workers were on time, stayed late when needed. They were courteous, and very tidy with their equipment.
Derrek was easy to work with then we added the inevitable extra projects!
We are very happy with the results!

Chandler made a great design and Tom executed perfectly. Very professional in their interaction.

I live in an apartment complex that Above and Beyond services. Their workers are incredibly inconsiderate to the people living here, often starting their work around 7AM (earlier before complaints were issued). They will idle their equipment near windows and decks and around corners where they cannot be viewed, but certainly heard. When they are not working on their equipment, they are walking 4 abreast down the middle of the road and giving snide looks at anyone attempting to utilize the only avenue out of our complex as if we are the ones being inconsiderate to them.

As for the work they do, our lawns are patchy and dried. The only presentable section of work done is near the club house in view of the apartment staff. My own particular stretch will rarely be green even during peak seasons such as late spring. Clippings are often left about on the sidewalks leading to our buildings. I would never hire them to continue routine work even if I owned my own lawn.

I resort to writing this review here as the office staff at our complex have told us that while they have requested a reschedule of work, they have been told by Above and Beyond that the times cannot be changed. Whether or not this is believable is truly unknown to me, but the implication that it could be is enough for me to be disgusted by the customer service. If any attempt is made to talk to them while they are here they roll their eyes and give no response before moving on for a time. All in all an entirely unacceptable way for a business to conduct itself.

Extremely knowledgeable and professional company from design to installation and beyond. Chandler was great to work with in the design phase, very easy to work with on changes. He did a final walk thru as well when the project was completed. Devon and the installation team were all very polite and easy to work with. The quality of the work was exemplary. Very detailed and the site was clean after. They worked quickly and efficiently. Questions were answered fully and truthfully. There were no hidden costs or mistakes in the quote and billing was a breeze. We had a few other bids we considered,but Above and Beyond was competitively priced and most of all the expertise, ease of working with them and the honesty and transparency was first and foremost. They listened when we went thru what we wanted done and bid it exactly correct. Others bid it, but then when I confirmed the details, either they stated they hadn't written that down and the price kept raising. Above and Beyond never did that. They were perfect in every step of the way

We are so thrilled with our back yard retaining wall! It looks beautiful and changed the look of our entire back yard. We were so happy with Trent and his crew as well as Derrick and the entire staff we dealt with that we quickly hired them to do our front yard too! Our house has a whole new updated look and we couldn't be happier. Now we have ordered a new driveway and sidewalks from them. They were always there when they said they would be, answered all our questions and gave options for us to consider. Our neighbors keep coming over and one by one ask who did our retaining walls. We gladly recommend Above and Beyond!

Absolutely the best contractor of any kind I have ever worked with in my 70 years. They deserve more than 5 Stars!

We have used them for pool and backyard landscape design including new retaining walls with built in landscape lighting, new cobblestone pool decking and installed lattice work trim around an existing wood deck.
They completely recontoured our back yard for proper drainage and installed new landscape beds and trees.

We also had them tear out and replace all our concrete sidewalks and driveways so the front of the house looks as good as the new backyard.

Every project was completed on time and to our complete satisfaction. Their communication was excellent throughout and always had the most professional and courteous work crews on each and every job.

They also handle our general yard & irrigation maintenance every year including mowing and spring/fall cleanup.

Their name is truly appropriate - they go Above and Beyond on every project no matter whether it is big or small.

Above and Beyond was great for our landscaping project. They took their time to do things the right way and the project came out great. Chandler and Tom and crew were great to work with and have returned a few times to check things are growing well. Highly recommend these guys!

They take care of the apartment complex I live in and they constantly leave cut up trash around the yard. The worst part are the cut up cans of energy drink drinks that weren’t there before so it seems like it’s them who is leaving it also they came and did cleanup work, chopped all the plants down, then left them in piles all over the place. If you really want somebody to go above and beyond this is not the company to be hiring.

Had a large retaining wall, driveway rocked, and concrete done by Above & Beyond. Tony worked hard every day no matter how hot it was. After that project was finished we were so thrilled with the work that they were again hired to do some simply river rock landscaping on another section of the property. Again, Tony and his crew were there within the week and worked through the heat.

During the last snow storm our plow truck broke down and we made a last ditch effort during the storm to see if they could pull through and finish our lot. Their crew showed up within the hour and finished the job. Truly amazing, no wonder their voted best in Omaha.

We had our deck replaced by Above & Beyond. They did a quality job in a short time. It was done in 3 days - old deck torn down and took away as well. They also have a great price for their work. If you are looking for a new deck I suggest calling them.

This place is the real deal. They can handle all your backyard dreams! The crews are knowledgeable and friendly. If you're looking for the best in the city look no further these guys will take care of you! 👍🏻

So much was done perfectly on this 18' diameter concrete pad for our pool and fire pit:

- It's nearly perfectly level. The pool water slopes by literally only 2 centimeters. If you've ever installed an above-ground pool, you know how difficult this feat is!
- They scheduled us for late May, but fit us into their schedule mid-April and knocked the job out in 1.5 days.
- They left no trace. There was minimal grass damage from the equipment, but they laid grass seed which filled it in by mid-summer.
- They were easy to get ahold of and stayed in good communication.
- We had different plans initially, but Derrek and crew used their expertise to show us the best way to do it--and boy, were they right. SO glad we listened to them. It has saved us many headaches.

Paul, Mickey, & Brandon worked on landscaping my backyard. They added soil, soil blankets, and also seeded it. They were out in my backyard for several hours, I went out several times to ask them if they needed any water or anything else. They always answered “no” that they had everything they needed with them. When they finished they completely cleaned up after themselves. Then they went out to the street in front of my house and cleaned up that area also!! A truly professional crew!!! I would HIGHLY recommend this company AND especially this crew if you have any landscaping needs. Put them at the TOP of your list!!

We had Above and Beyond do quite a large project for us so that we could have some usable space in our backyard. We took out a large slopping hill and installed a large 175' retaining wall so that we could have a nice flat yard for our kids.

The end result was more than what we envisioned. the process was smooth from beginning to end and the staff was extremely kind and communicated very well with any issues or concerns. I highly recommend Above and Beyond and would use them again in heartbeat!

We had them redo our retaining wall in the front of the house and add a fire pit in the back. They did an amazing job! They were timely, friendly and truly went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. We will definitely use them again!!

Our experience with Above and Beyond was awesome from start to finish. We had a complete outdoor makeover with a new driveway, new fence, irrigation system and the entire yard landscaped. I would highly recommend Above and Beyond for any of your landscaping projects! They show up on time everyday and always deliver the highest quality of work! They put in coping, pavers, a fire pit, lighting, and a beautiful waterfall around the pool. They also planted several plants, a massive berm on the side of the house, and lots of trees. It all looks amazing and I will continue to have them do work for me! They are very trust worthy and always complete the project in a timely manner! They are top notch and you won’t be disappointed! Had them rebuild two retaining walls. Everything from initial consultation and bid and construction went great. They started the job when they said they would and finished faster than I thought they would. Communication throughout was excellent. Everyone that has seen it is saying things like wow that looks so much better than before. I highly recommend them.

Working with Above and Beyond Landscape was an amazing experience, we could not have been happier. From the initial estimate and design steps, to material selections, and then waiting for the project to start through a wet spring, they were there every step of the way. Once the work started, the crew was friendly, courteous, and conscientious of meeting our every need. They were open to making adjustments on the fly, and they left a clean jobsite at the end of every day. And the outcome was better than we imagined!
