Let me save you some time… don’t bother calling anywhere else but Marv’s. We needed two giant (GIANT) trees taken down and one company quoted us $15k!!!! Marv’s did the job professionally and in a very timely manner for THOUSANDS less. Since that job, they’ve done another tree job for us and it went just as well.

The best part, they are a family owned business made up of AMAZING people who really care about their customers AND their customer’s trees and property. You want a professional tree job done by knowledgeable, friendly people, and at a price you can stomach (because I about died when they gave me the quote for thousands less than Monster Tree Service)? CALL TRISH AT MARV’S. You will be so happy you did. Trust me. This one is a no-brainer, people. I wouldn’t dream of calling anyone else, and I tell everyone how wonderful and professional they are.

Marv's is great tree service, my family has used them for years on all our properties. They not only are economical, but they have also saved us money before by pointing out issues that the city is responsible to cover. Love them and highly recommend Marvs.

Trish and her crew did a great job trimming some locust trees that needed a "haircut" and had some damage from the big windstorm earlier this summer. I have her come out every 2 years or so to keep up with the growth. I like using Marv's Tree Service because Trish is so careful / conservative in removing growth.
She kept a river birch tree alive for an extra year when anyone else would have just cut it down.

There are certainly many tree services listed on-line (phone book for you oldies), but I prefer the continuity of the same person looking at the same trees over the years. I also like the fact that it's a small, family run operation, something I much prefer to deal with.

I think her prices are reasonable. A case in point: The above-mentioned river birch, on it's last legs, was thought to possibly benefit from iron injections. Someone from a big tree company in town came out and gave me a ridiculous price of $200+ for an injection. Trish did it for considerably less. In the end, it didn't matter; we lost the tree but it wasn't for lack of effort on Trish's part.

Marv's Tree Service' business success over the past years a new issue has developed: Trish is so busy that it takes a while to get her to our house. The price of success I guess.

They do a great job and put on quite a show with all their specialized equipment for young kids.

I have been using Marv's Tree Service for many years. Trish and the gang are awesome. After a storm had knocked down a tree on my property, they were very quick to respond to my request for a bid to remove it. Their quote was very competitive so I hired them. And they were able to get the job done within an extremely reasonable amount of time. I would highly recommend Marv's Tree Service.

Marv’s Tree Service was great! They did the job, thoroughly cleaned up and before they left, they made sure we were satisfied with the work. When I requested some more trimming of trees overhanging our roof, they did additional work without any additional charges. They did not pack up and go until they were sure we were satisfied. I recommend them enthusiastically without any reservations whatsoever.

We had an excellent experience using Marv's Tree Service. We moved into a house with many trees, all of which were in various stages of neglect. We had Trish come out and give us honest assessments about the state of each tree, what work was essential, and what work was optional/could be postponed. They did not price-gouge on their Ash tree treatments (my neighbor has paid more to treat one large ash tree with a different company than we did to treat three medium-large ash trees with Marv's). Every visit was preceded with great communication, and we always knew what to expect. Our front birch tree is looking beautiful after being pruned and with its canopy raised! We would recommend them to anyone in need of tree services and will happily be using them in the future!

Marv’s Tree Service is clearly a 5 Star business. Trish the owner is attentive, organized and takes time to discuss assessments, estimates and every detail of the job, absolutely no surprises. She is timely and professional and every member of her crews are a reflection of her professionalism. She has been in business 26 years and this is why… Again I wouldn’t use anyone else. Honest and knowledgeable and trustworthy.

Trish and her whole crew are awesome. They got started timely, made sure I was happy with everything they did and cleaned up so well when they were done. I have used Marv's before and always recommend them foe their work ethic and great service.

We are so glad we had this team on our side to remove our aged silver maple. It was one windstorm away from coming down-Marv’s team did it safely and removed all debris. We are very happy we took the advice and had the stump ground down.

My husband & I had a great experience with Marv’s! They were backlogged from the big storm last summer but put us on their schedule and worked with OPPD to get our trees done before the end of the year! Very kind & helpful, great to work with. We had Marv's Tree Service trim some of our trees a couple weeks ago. There is a reason they only have 5 Star reviews. It's because they are reasonably priced and very professional. Walked me through the whole process and showed up when they said they would. They have all the equipment they need to get the job done. They also did a great job cleaning up. The whole crew was great. Very impressed and will gladly recommend them to anyone needing tree work done.

They were quick to respond to my request for an estimate and did an awesome job grinding down my stump. Thank you for clearing up everything!

Tree and lilac bushes. Both the lady who did estimate and crew were friendly and efficient . Both times they call ahead and did a great job at a fair price.I will suggest Marvs to everyone who need tree service.

I’ve used Marv’s for over 20+ years. Since we moved several years really had any reason to call Marv’s until week’s
storm. They were quick and cleaned all the debris. Highly recommended them!!!!

Very clean work. Easy to communicate with as well. The process is very seamless and you couldn’t even tell they were in my yard. They did a great job cleaning up the wood grindings from the stump.

The owners and employees at Marv's have been great. So far, they cut down trees, trimmed up others, and treated our two Ash trees. Pretty much whatever you'd need, they've done it for us, and done it well.

Trish, the arborist at Marv’s Tree Service, gave us several options for action on our trees. We are very pleased with the results. Her crew does a great job of cleaning up all of the debris. We would recommend them for big or small projects.

Marv’s Tree Service did a fantastic job! Had significant tree damage from the spring blizzard and storm the following week. Tried a few tree services and got no calls back. Saw Marv’s working at a neighbors house and looked them up. Went to their website and contacted them. Thought I was going to be ghosted again, but no! Got an email and a call within 3/4 days! Trish explained how the storms had created quite a backlog. I said what I really wanted was an estimate so I could figure out what I could do. Within a couple of days Trish came out and we walked everything down. I had an estimate within a couple of days and a signed contract. It took 3 trips to get all the work done over about 5 weeks. The crews were amazing. Got everything down, cleaned up and the areas restored. They worked with us so we always knew ahead of time when they were coming. I just can’t say enough. Their website is maintained, they follow up promptly and as I said they cleaned up after themselves every trip. A truly great company to deal with!
